Hotel berhampiran Macundales Outdoor&Adventure, Caracas

This is an excellent hotel for international travellers. You will not find a better hotel in Caracas with the facilities and service it has to offer. I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and can highly recommend it. The rooms are very well equipped and modern, with modern fitted shower rooms. There is a roof terrace with a pool which is popular, so a great place to relax in the evening and be social. The gym is one of the biggest in Caracas and is very popular with locals so a great place to hang out and get to comfortably mix with local people. The gym has all the equipment that you would find in a dedicated purpose built gym, including squat racks, huge range of free weight, benches, cable machines and of course cardio machines. The service is excellent as well, the reception is very helpful and I found them very accommodating to any guest needs I may have. The staff look after the hotel and it is regularly cleaned and common areas are kept in very good order. There is security at the front which provides secure entry in the evening times. The hotel is in the centre of Caracas located in a metropolitan area so it is safe to move around in as a international. If you do visit this hotel I would recommend the Millennium cafe around the corner next to Panadería La Crossantina. There are great local Venezuelan dishes offered there, and can pay with card. If you are looking for modern, comfortable living at great value, you will not find better than this hotel. Este es un excelente hotel para viajeros internacionales. No encontrará un hotel mejor en Caracas con las instalaciones y el servicio que tiene para ofrecer. Me he alojado en este hotel en varias ocasiones y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas y son modernas, con modernos cuartos de ducha equipados. Hay una terraza en la azotea con una piscina que es popular, por lo que es un gran lugar para relaj**** por la noche y socializar. El gimnasio es uno de los más grandes de Caracas y es muy popular entre los lugareños, por lo que es un gran lugar para pasar el rato y mezcl**** cómodamente con la gente local. El gimnasio tiene todo el equipo que encontrará en un gimnasio especialmente diseñado, incluidos soportes para sentadillas, una amplia gama de pesas, bancos, máquinas de cable y, por supuesto, máquinas de cardio. El servicio es excelente también, la recepción es muy útil y los encontré muy complacientes con las necesidades de los huéspedes que pueda tener. El personal cuida del hotel y lo limpia con regularidad y las zonas comunes se mantienen en muy buen estado. Hay seguridad en la parte delantera que proporciona una entrada segura en las horas de la noche. El hotel está en el centro de Caracas ubicado en un área metropolitana por lo que es seguro moverse como internacional. Si visita este hotel, le recomendaría la cafetería Millennium que está a la vuelta de la esquina, junto a la Panadería La Crossantin

Being a stranded tourist in Caracas where cash is king and no way to use s sanctioned visa card to either pay or withdraw money, Lidotel welcomed me to their «family». From the amazing receptionists to the rockstars handling the restaurant, I felt like home. 14000 km away, I did feel like hold. Thanks to the front desk and the amazing guys at the restaurant, to name a few, Edder, Junior and Ewing - my experience turned great! I spent 3 days there but it was an awesome experience. To sum it up - if you are ever stuck, Lidotel is the place to go.

We stayed overnight after arriving in Caracas before flying to Margarita the following day. The hotel is in a residential area about 10 minutes from the airport by car. The service standards are acceptable but certainly not 5-star or in line with international Marriott standards. Interactions with staff were ‘transactions’ rather than ‘experiences’. Lack of management visibility is noticeable. Our room was spacious but the carpets were quite dated and had a strong damp smell. Inside the room there were many maintenance issues: rusted make-up mirror, broken electrical panel, faulty door lock, toilet didn’t flush and a general lack of attention to detail. The economic and financial situation in Venezuela is a factor to consider but it shouldn’t be used as a justification for poor maintenance. The swimming pool area is one of the best parts of this hotel, many loungers and a good view. There is a bakery nearby to buy a snack or have breakfast, they also do pizza in the evening. Hotel is used by several airlines for their crew accommodation but this wasn’t an issue. This hotel has potential but it needs to push harder to reach better service levels.

We didn't sleep. Hotel in anonymous old 90s business style or like a north Korea hotel. The A/C is massive everywhere maybe set at 18° and temperature in all the structure from cold to freezing. Even in room was noisy and cold even with 30°C and heater set on the display. Stench of closed. Window not openable. We didn't sleep the night because the temperature even switching off the air. Towels and bed linen just ”washed” but not clean and fragrant. Towels old and very small, the the body towel like a face towel and the face towel like an hankie. Taps clean but old and with limescale. Breakfast with almost everything but completely tasteless. The pool was small and a croaking music CD always working made bothersome to stay in the area. We paid the absurd price of 197 U$ but the receptionist firstly gave me a receipt of something like 8170 Bolivares...did we paid a scam price for overseas customers ? We are totally unsatisfied, we didnt sleep and this is not a five stars, it worth no more than 50$. I recommend to choose another hotel with shuttle service or even if you have to pay a cab for the airport. Hope the pilots and cabin crew do not rest here for the night before a flight since in my opinion it is hard to do.
