Hotel Carlsbad dengan Gim

I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room itself was lacking. Outdated bathroom with a bathtub that had nothing to keep you from skipping to the bathroom tile that just as slippery even with the floor towel. The room was big and clean with a nice bed but the lugging was awful. There were 2 side tanks lamps, 1 floor lamp, and a desk lamp(didn't work). Even with the 3 that worked out was still very dimly lit. The pipes in the wall sounded like they were going to bust when a another room would turn on their water. It was so loud. When I booked this room it said it was a 3 star hotel, more of a 2. Without the staff a 1. There not being an elevator to the second floor was tough. Then there were 2 sounds at night. One sounded like something cheering on wood above me, and the other was something tapping on the wall. There was an extra charge when I checked in that wasn't on the site when I booked it. This could be the hotel or this dues fault, bit sure. My rating didn't really reflect the start because of the categories.

Close to legoland.. very friendly and helpful staff.. very clean.. kids loved the heated outdoor pool. 😋

The staff went above and beyond everyday. Location is kept very clean, and the overall accommodations are excellent. Plenty of parking, grounds kept up very nicely. Coming out to the ocean view everyday a definite perk. Next time I am on a work or personal trip I will stay again.

We are so happy that our 8yr old son got to experience being at this hotel. I will say if he was any older he may not have enjoyed it as much but certainly for his age and younger kids, they’ll love it! The hotel offers lots of different activities from about 5ish til about 9pm and my son loved all the activities so much we were there every night (4nights in total). We stayed in their fully themed room which was amazing and the bed and pillows were also very comfortable. The people doing the kids activities were awesome. My son is quite shy so while he was always there sitting amongst the other kids, he did not put his hands up for anything but of course when they kindly asked if he’d like ago at whatever activity they were doing he would say yes and had a go. If they didn’t ask he would have just sat and watch. By the 3rd or 4th night he was confident enough to participate in a show and tell activity. He’s never even done that at the school! Thank you so much to the entertainers. As parents with a very shy kid that was just the most awesome moment to see him confident enough to stand in front of everyone and do what most other kids seem to be able to do so easily. Pls pass on our thanks and gratitude to them. Breakfast was also really awesome. Lots of tasty food to choose from. My husband and child ate way too much 😄 I think families with young children will love staying here.

This place has become one of my top choices when I'm in the area for business and need to meet numerous clients. The recent renovations to the rooms have elevated the experience, making it even more pleasant. Whether it's for a vacation, business trip, or a local staycation, this spot is a definite must-visit.

I would avoid this hotel unless you want to risk getting massively over charged on credit card holds for incidentals. The hotel charged holds of $8,400 on my card after 3 nights where I only spent about $900 in total. While the staff that I (finally) spoke with seemed like nice people, they were not helpful. Whether its maliciousness or ineptitude, something is wrong with the way this hotel treats its customers. I would urge caution to anyone who stays here. My family and I checked in on Friday for a 8 night stay. At that time our credit card was billed for the cost of the stay, which made sense. During our first 3 days at the hotel we averaged about $300/day spent on breakfast and dinner as a family, or about $900 in total. During that time the hotel placed 3 additional holds for incidentals on our credit far for almost $8,400, nearly 10x what we spent. This is all on top of the initial charge for our room and just 3 nights into an 8 night stay. When I raised this issue with the staff it was a long process to try to get fixed. Over 10 hours after I went to the front desk to complain about this, and over 3 hours after I was told ”a manager will call you shortly” when no one ever did, I finally went to the front desk and refused to leave until I spoke with a manager. After 30 minutes of waiting someone finally came out. He attempted to explain that the $8,400 of holds they placed on my card were justified by their system. I did my best to show the math in that I had only spent about $900 and there was no scenario where holding almost 10x that amount made sense. I told them that if they kept doing this they'd max out my card by the end of our 8 night stay. In the end it was useless as they were not listening to the math. And the fact that it was almost impossible to get anyone to help with this is a poor reflection on hotel management.

The Hotel was perfect, Staff was perfect. Enjoyed our stayed. We plan on returning again but this time on a non-business trip. We did not get to eat at the restaurant so we will schedule a reservation. But overall the experience was amazing. Thank You !!!!
