Friendly staff, nice pool, hot tub and sauna and very quiet and family friendly. We often stay here often over many years and love it. Great location, very clean, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Only negative was that the beds only had a sheet and a VERY thin scratchy blanket- would have liked an actual comforter, especially given winter. Attached bar was clean, very reasonably priced drinks and the bartender was very friendly. Breakfast hours were great- average continental breakfast. Cute little gift shop.

This was just a quick work trip, so minimal time was spent at the facility. Everything was great. A little mix up trying to check out early, but the ******* rep was super helpful in getting things straightened out. Otherwise, great experience.

I love how the hotel is nestled right on the Lake Superior shoreline. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It is so convenient to have an on site restaurant and bar. The free breakfast is definitely a perk.

We've stayed there 3 times now and each time is good. We especially enjoyed Skyler in the bar. He was friendly and always accommodating.

I had accidentally left my leather coat in my hotel room closet. We were already hours away when I realized my error. The attendant I talked to was very helpful. She found my coat and offered to mail it to me using my credit card on file. It came just as she promised about a week later. I'm very grateful that I was able to contact the hotel directly and didn't get transferred to a "switchboard" operator. Thank you again to that helpful front desk receptionist. :)

The price is a little bit high but the overall experience makes me feel it is worth. If you have a travel plan to porcupine mountains, that might be the best choice.

Very close to Porcupine Mountains! Lake Superior is right by hotel and they have good seating to sit by the water and view the beautiful sunsets! We’ve stayed here several times and have always had a wonderful experience!

The lobby area was very nice. The rooms were quite dated but clean. Beds were not very comfortable and the bed linens were very old and needed to be replaced. But clean. Which is why it shocked us to see so many flies. We had 4 big flies in our room and had to kill them. My parents also had the same problem down the hall. And then there were some flies in the hallway. There was no smell and it was clean but I’ve never seen the fly issue anywhere else. I was disappointed, especially for the price.

Great location right on Lake Superior with seating options on the shore. Nice park across the driveway that you could walk to on the river.
