Booked this hotel for myself and my partner for 2 nights during Eurovision week for May 2022 back in Oct 2021. A friend also did the same on a separate booking. However, in Jan 2022 both bookings were cancelled due to issues with ”payment processing on card”. This was blatant lying, as both cards for both bookings worked fine. What really happened is the hotel knew it could get more for the nights in question with such a big event on in Turin (see prices for hotels that week vs. other weeks if you don't believe me) and cancelled both our bookings. Half hearted excuses were given ”I'm not the person who processes bookings” etc and a call back to explain situation further that was requested never happened. Conveniently, hotel is now booked out for same dates a mere 5 mins after cancelling our bookings. Management are clearly greedy and dishonest and attempting to price gouge during a time of high demand. Shame on them. Do not recommend lest you also fall foul of cancelled bookings

Stayed here for a few nights recently. The hotel looks good from outside and the lobby/ communal areas are spacious. It is located about a mile away (15 minutes walk) from Porta Nuova train station and around which are many cafes and restaurants. There didn't seem to be many restaurants near the actual hotel apart from small local bars. The area seemed to be quiet residential. There is a large supermarket about 5 mins. walk away. The room was good with everything required. All the staff were very pleasant. I'm not sure about why the reception have to photocopy your passport on arrival but it seems to be a new trend in hotels now, but hopefully they shred them after you leave.? Breakfast was served in an adjacent building in a room which seemed to be too small for the number of guests, and the breakfast itself was fairly basic, again nothing unusual in that nowadays. Overall I possibly would stay there again if visiting Turin.

Staff were great and so helpful! Lovely breakfast and really nice room! Easy access to the centre of Turin. Food store close by and a really nice restaurant. Definitely recommend you stay! No complaints at all!

Quando nel mio lavoro valuto le organizzazioni che visito devo riportare evidenze oggettive. Il compenso è ottimo si tratta di un lavoro e deve avere un adeguato compenso racconto questa esperienza su tripadvior solo perché molto divertente. Non ero intenzionato a scrivere recensioni talvolta lo faccio sperando che possano servire non ai Clienti ma in particolare ai proprietari o gestori di alberghi o ristoranti come spunto per migliorare la qualità del servizio. Quando mi capita di scriverle le documento come nel mio lavoro da evidenze oggettive ma in questo caso non ne ho molte. Premetto che l'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione e questo non era riportato chiaramente su TripAdvisor. Una forte carenza nel controllo di un'attività straordinaria così rilevante, da parte della Direzione dell'albergo mi porta a consigliare di evitare la prenotazione sino al termine dei lavori. Nella ristrutturazione in corso sono state momentaneamente eliminate le scale esterne su un lato dell'albergo da utilizzare come vie di fuga in caso di incendio, restano quelle sul lato opposto. Sul lato dove è in corso la ristrutturazione ho notato che vengono eseguiti lavori di profonda perforazione che mi fanno pensare a problemi strutturali da risolvere. All'arrivo chiedo di utilizzare il parcheggio interno a pagamento anche perché una parte di quello esterno ė utilizzato come parcheggio per i mezzi che stanno lavorando alla ristrutturazione. Scendo verso il parcheggio interno e volendo andare al coperto come generalmente faccio nei vari alberghi a 4 stelle dove mi reco scendo sino al portone interno. È chiuso scendo e lo apro premendo sul comando per l'apertura. Il portone si apre io proseguo e mi trovo anziché in un parcheggio libero in un salone colmo di mobili o altre cose accatastate mi è impossibile accedere per fare inversione di marcia e sono costretto a risalire in retromarcia ovviamente affrontare la forte pendenza in retromarcia causa una forte usura al mezzo che si guida, e questo è stato evidenziato dal fortissimo odore di gomma bruciata che si sentiva. Risalito in retromarcia il posto macchina più comodo era occupato da una carriola colma di vetri rotti. Non me la sento di spostarla così vado verso i posti a pagamento esterni. Parcheggio la macchina con estrema difficoltà, correttamente nei limiti circoscritti, dato che lo spazio per parcheggiare non permette una facile manovra. Sceso dalla macchina noto che, appena sopra al cofano della macchina termina un tubo delle grondaie e tutta l'acqua finisce sul cofano dato che sta piovedo. La cosa non mi piace e decido di spostarla. Con estrema difficoltà, dato che lo spazio e molto stretto riparcheggio la macchina altrove. Visto che l'albergo è in ristrutturazione non è possibile accedere direttamente dal retro dal parcheggio, ma è necessario ripercorrere con le valige la stradina ora in salita uscire da parcheggio per rientrare in albergo. This hotel was booked due to our car broke down in Turin. So not the happiest couple arrived in a rental car to the hotel and from that moment we were just amazed by the hotel staff. What a team! The hotel service turned out to be at a 5 star level hidden in a suburb to Turin! This was not what we expected! We left Turin after just one night with a fixed car and a fantastic hotel experience! Thank you hotel team of Rival Tulip inn!

This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.

What an incredible surprise! I booked this hotel as I was attending Eurovision in Turin. Hotels were getting booked up fast and so I booked Hotel Glis without doing much research. I booked a superior double room. Due to a change of plan, I had to change the booking from a double to twin room and contacted the hotel directly to do this, it was not an issue and this was sorted quickly. On arrival, the staff at reception were friendly and so welcoming. Nothing was too much. Every communication I had with reception was helpful, efficient and just really positive. Breakfast was great and of a really good quality. The room was so much nicer than I was expecting - I was expecting the photos on some trip advisor reviews, a bit dated looking (sorry!), but opening the door I was so blown away by the quality and standard of the decor. My dad was worried he wouldn’t be able to make tea/coffee but there was a kettle in the room and a fridge with complimentary water! We also paid for the “mini fridge top up” on two days and got cans of pop, snacks, etc. This was really great. The hotel booked our taxi to the airport on departure day and this arrived with no issues. We encountered several different staff members and they were all so pleasant and so helpful. Our room was cleaned and fresh towers were left every day of our stay - this felt luxury compared to the UK! We were a little concerned about the ease of getting around to/from central Turin to this hotel, as it does feel more geared at the “out of city” business travellers, conference attendees etc., however we paid for a 72 hour bus ticket for €10 each which allowed us to get on as many buses and trams as we wanted for 72 hours, and using the app “CityMapper”, figured out that if we get the 49 and then 8 bus, it was super easy to travel in/out of Turin. It took around 25/30 mins dependent on traffic. Overall, this hotel was the most wonderful surprise and we will definitely return here on our next trip to Turin. ทำเลดีมาก อยู่ติดกับสถานีรถไฟ porta susa เลย เดินทางสะดวกมีป้ายรถเมล์และสถานีรถไฟใต้ดินอยู่ใกล้ๆ พนักงานเป็นมิตรและพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี โรงแรมค่อนข้างเก่าไปหน่อย แต่ขนาดห้องกว้างพอควรสำหรับพักคนเดียว มีตู้เย็น กาต้มน้ำ น้ำดื่ม ชาและกาแฟให้ฟรี ทีวีจอเล็กไปหน่อยและมีแต่ช่องพูดภาษาอิตาลี ในห้องมีปุ่มกดเยอะแยะไปหมดแต่ไม่มีบอกว่าทำอะไรต้องลองกดดูเอง มีปลั๊กไฟแค่อันเดียวในห้องไม่ค่อยสะดวก ราคาไม่แพงตอนจองประมาณ 2 พันต้นๆเท่านั้นรวมอาหารเช้าแบบบุฟเฟ่ต์มีไส้กรอก เบคอน ไข่ ขนมปัง ผลไม้ ให้ด้วย โอเคมาก

Premetto che è stata la prima volta che ho alloggiato in un ostello, quindi non ho termini di paragone per valutarlo nel suo genere e forse avevo aspettative troppo elevate... Ad ogni modo procedo con la recensione... La struttura è molto particolare, molto ”urban style”, l'ambiente è giovanile e informale. Lo staff è giovane e amichevole, ma forse un po' inesperto: considerato che comunque forniscono un servizio alberghiero a pagamento, mi aspetto professionalità. Noi abbiamo prenotato una quadrupla ad uso privato per la nostra famiglia, con due bagni piccolissimi e senza bidet (grosso handicap, ma lo sapevo sin dall'inizio). I letti erano comodi, l'arredo essenziale. Pulizia buona. Per il deposito bagagli sono disponibili degli armadi, ma devi avere il tuo lucchetto, sennò te ne vendono uno alla reception a prezzo di costo: non so se negli ostelli si usi così, ma il deposito bagagli è veramente un servizio minimo basilare, mi aspettavo che fosse ”completo”. La colazione è stata veramente minimal, a fronte di un prezzo piuttosto alto. Tra l'altro, per un fraintendimento in sede di prenotazione, avevo capito che la colazione fosse compresa nel prezzo, quindi è stata una brutta sorpresa aver dovuto aggiungere altri € 27,00 al giorno per fare colazione in loco, considerato anche che il prezzo della stanza già non era stracciato (però, a onor del vero, siamo andati in occasione di un ponte, ci poteva stare che il prezzo della camera fosse superiore alla media). L'errore sulla colazione inclusa/non inclusa è stato mio, però rileggendo la corrispondenza con lo staff dell'ostello, secondo me si capiva che avevo preso un abbaglio, quindi avrei gradito essere corretta subito... Per il resto posso dire che la struttura è comodissima per il centro storico e per i mezzi pubblici. Nei dintorni c'è molta scelta per pranzo e cena. C'è comunque anche il ristorante interno. Per i pochi giorni di permanenza il Combo ha fatto il suo dovere ed è stata una soluzione funzionale. Se non si hanno troppe pretese e si cerca giusto un posto per pernottare, questo ostello è una struttura strategica per la visita alla bella città di Torino.

I used the hotel whist my wife was in hospital following skiing accident. My stay has been great, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff kind and enabling. It is close to the hospital, where my wife is staying fowling her skiing accident which is perfect. It is also in each reach of the town and travel to Torino by bus 36 to Paradiso and then the metro was easy. The restaurant too is first class and the price is good. I highly recommend the hotel which I think is perfect for anyone visiting the area and an absolute essential location for anyone visiting the hospital.
