This lovely hotel is conveniently located in walking distance of very good restaurants, rental car office, and right across the street from the Royal Palace. With wi-fi, air conditioning, and an elevator, the hotel provided everything we wanted, but its true gems are the hard-working and dedicated staff who overwhelmed us with their kindness. The manager Viviana made sure we were comfortable during the extreme heat, and with her team at the front desk, especially Mariana and Emilio, all our questions and needs were taken care of.

Das Beste am Hotel ist der Besitzer: Enorm freundlich! Er scheute keinen Aufwand, mir den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Ich wurde kostenlos mehrmals an den Bahnhof chauffiert und durfte sein persönliches E-Bike kostenlos benutzen, weil es offenbar die vielen, früher zur Vermietung gestandenen E-Bikes nicht mehr gibt. Das verdient 5 Sterne! Ansonsten ist nicht alles perfekt. Das Hotel hat zwar einen gepflegten Garten, aber der ist aufgrund der Strasse nicht so entspannend. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist alt aber ok. Alles war sauber. Das Morgenessen war mittelmässig, typisch italienisch: Viel Süsses und ausser Früchten kaum etwas Gesundes.

Personale qualificato disponibile e sempre attento ! Le nuove camere superior sono ben fatte ! Non è più presente la moquette ma uno splendido parquet, totalmente rimodernata ! Nota negativa dimenticatevi gli armadi , sono stati rimossi e sostituiti con dei ripiani metallici che danno un SEnso di disordine e nella doccia non vi è più un ripiano per doccia sciampoo! Peccato perché rende la stanza scomoda !

Welcome to Bizarro World! The general description of the place on this page was accurate when Plaza Caserta opened. We stayed here overnight on our way to Sorrento in June '24. I have NO idea what happened to this city, and the Google is not giving up her secrets. Everything online is as though the place is preserved as it must have appeared 20 or so years ago. All around, as we drove in, there was economic ruin and utter urban decay. Many condemned and derelict buildings. It felt as though we were on a movie set, and I wasn't sure if it was a comedy or a horror flick. The staff were good enough, but everyone acted as though they didn't notice the opulent hotel they work in was crumbling around them. The pictures posted here seem to be computer renderings before it even opened. That glorious pool? Empty, crumbling, and full of pigeons. That luscious landscaping? Full of weeds and bone dry. This place was amazing when it opened, but we were actually a little scared, at first. HOWEVER, all that said, the room was clean (despite some questionable stains on the couch), HUGE and COOL! Our spacious room had 2 bathrooms! Breakfast was outstanding, and a short walk away (touring through the dilapidated surroundings), we found a very memorable, fresh meal. But, again, everyone was acting as though they were awaiting a bustling crowd, and we were the only ones there. I was in a quandary over how many stars to offer--we had an amazing night's sleep after a very taxing travel day to Rome from US, with a train strike forcing us to hire a taxi to take us there for over 300 pounds. My son was very disappointed in the state of the pool, and, truly, all we wanted to do was go chill out there. Nothing I search reveals why there were so many skeletal remains of what was clearly a bustling city. As I write this, I don't actually expect it will be published because I assume censorship is why there is nothing online about the decay or Caserta.

Ok, let’s start with this, it is at least 25 minutes from any airport. Leave a good hour for catching a morning flight. It’s positioned in a cloverleaf. They have kitchens but absolute minimum utensils and cooking needs. Maid service is marginal. Not sure they ever changed my bed or pillow cases. Bare minimum effort. Wait staff was polite & professional. Menu is very limited for all meal services. Front desk was cordial but more concerned with doing their collateral duties. Wi-Fi was sketchy at best but all of Italy has crappy internet. The grounds are sterile with rock filled **** beds and concrete. The building looks like an abandoned office building. Pool is there but not opened yet (mid-May) and sports the only green area on the property. I would not stay here again. I’m surprised Marriott maintains this property. Better of at a Bed and Breakfast

Ormai quanto voglio un po' di relax in intimità è la prima scelta, servizio ottimo e cordiale e soprattutto ottima la strutta che offre tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno ad un prezzo davvero ragionevole. Ormai quando scendo a Caserta è diventato uno dei miei posti fissi dove alloggiare. Unica pecca la strada per arrivare all'hotel che ahimè è piena di buche ma non dipende dalla struttura, consiglio di non andare troppo veloce lì nei dintorni.

Das Vanvitelli ist ein sehr schönes hotel…. Die Struktur ist ein altes Haus mit einem großem Hof was zu einer Lounge umgebaut wurde mit Überdachung über den 4. Stock mit einem Riesen Kronleuchter der in der Mitte hängt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber….

L'Hotel è vicinissima alla Reggia di Caserta ed è formidabile, pulito, ordinato, il personale gentilissimo e cortese con i clienti sempre pronti per qualunque esigenza. Abbiamo trascorso due notti in una camera molto pulita accogliente e spaziosa, cosa che non si vede in molti altri hotel. Grazie di cuore per le magnifiche giornate.

La struttura è molto bella, credo unica nel suo genere. Un antico borgo 800esco trasformato in resort che conserva tutto il suo fascino. Il servizio è stato quasi impeccabile, hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza. Purtroppo la Spa non è all'altezza del resort, non offre molto tranne due piscine, sauna e doccia emozionale. Il ristorante è abbastanza caro, se consideriamo anche che una bottiglia di acqua da 750 CL cista 6€. Peccato per l'errore sul conto commesso alla fine che ci ha fatto perdere molto tempo e creato disagio.
