The Moon Boutique Hotel Cat Ba

Very nice hotel. The rooms are luxurious and the beds are very comfy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They gave great tips for our planned day trips and organised a scooter for us that was delivered to the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice. 15 minutes walk to Cat Co 3 beach and many restaurants arround. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights before going on a 3 day HaLong Bay cruise. It was an all round great experience. The room, the breakfast, the location the friendly staff and drivers. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Cat Ba Island. There is a lot of construction across the street in both directions and it was good to see the process of building.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We had what originally was a bay view room but now only has a partial sea view due to the construction works. However, this did not detract from our stay. The room was very well insulated and we could not hear any construction work. The staff make this hotel as they go out of their way to help. Before our stay, I emailed them and they arranged transport from Hanoi and then to Cat Bi airport for our onward journey. This wasn’t particularly cheap but was seamless with 2 drivers and a ferry trip each way. The hotel did point out the cheaper public transport options but you get what you pay for. Cat Ba Ventures own the hotel and we had 2 trips with them, a day to Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay and half a day in Cat Ba National Park. Both were value for money with friendly and knowledgeable guides. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was a la carte with a number of options and you could have as many different dishes and drinks as you wished! There are many options to choose from for food and drinks near the hotel. We particularly enjoyed Casa Bonita 2 on the Main Street. Cat Ba has a natural charm that I fear may be lost after all the new developments are finished so I would recommend visiting sooner rather than later.

This was a fantastic hotel with impeccable service. From the time we arrived to the hotel until checkout we were treated with great service, wonderful amenities and the included breakfast was outstanding! You will not regret staying at this hotel! Everyone and everything was perfect!

The Moon Boutique is located very well. It is “downtown”, and just off the main *****. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They helped us plan our “Cat Ba” adventure, and arranged our bus back to Hanoi. The services made our trip stress free.
