Es un excelente Bed and Breakfast,muy bien ubicado a metros de las estaciones de tren y bus de Catania.El desayuno muy completo y está totalmente equipado con cocina,te dejan fruta y dulces a la tarde,el WiFi vuela ,la habitación enorme ,baño completo y cama cómoda,muy limpio.Debo destacar la atención de Cettina y Gabriella muy amables.El lugar se encuentra estratégicamente ubicado a 10 minutos de caminata del centro histórico de Catania.No dejen de ir ya que la relación precio calidad es óptima

We had a layover in Catania and this hotel came up in a search. It is right across from the main train station, which is a major stopping point for people going to Mount Aetna. It is about 1.5 KM from the city center's attractions (Fish market and basilica) so not so convenient to the center unless you want a longish walk--and Catania frankly does NOT feel safe. Nor is the train station area at all desireable. But the Hotel Villa Romeo is a little oasis in an otherwise grim place. 30 Euros from CTA airport and about a 10 min ride. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but does provide an included good breakfast bar in a delightful atrium--this is an old villa with a number of courtyards and very old fashioned rooms. Beds were comfortable. Decor is very old-fashioned: doors painted Empire style and rooms kind of, I dont know, 40's? The bathroom was perfectly functional but not lavish, this is a 3 star hotel and the amenities were what you'd expect for Italian 3 star. The hotel is absolutely sparkling shiny clean and a large staff was tirelessly repairing and cleaning all over. The front desk managers were warm, welcoming, helpful and cordial. The lobby is small but there is a huge atrium with shaded pergola, plantings and it's a pleasant place to sit. We hung out there because we were jetlagged and Catania was not wowing us for sightseeing after our first evening encounters. (Dodgy is a polite word for that.) There is a hotel shuttle you can arrange to the airport but it's really the same cost as a taxi per person. There is a bus across from the hotel (across a very busy street) and it's 4 Euros. Five stars because the hotel was perfect and affordable.

Un hotel pulito e confortevole con camere grandi e molto silenziose, bagno privato. La colazione è completa: dolce e salata con un caffè espresso davvero eccezionale! Il personale è gentilissimo mette a suo agio i clienti ed è molto attento a tutto le esigenze. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere tutte le piazze della città ed è vicinissima alla stazione. Il soggiorno è stato molto confortevole e mi ritengo molto soddisfatta. Ho appreso sul posto che oltre alle camere la struttura offre la possibilità di mini appartamenti con angolo cottura, davvero molto comodi! Ritornerò sicuramente. Consiglio vivamente!!!

The picture that appears when searching for this hotel is deceiving because the hotel is not on a big piazza and is not the building shown. The hotel is not on a particularly busy street (this is good), at least not on the weekend that we were there, and it is in a good location to see the main sites in Catania. We had a lovely room, which looked like it was recently updated and modernized. One glitch - I am 5'2” and my feet didn't touch the floor when sitting in the lavatory! There is a good selection of breakfast items, and I particularly recommend what I think was a pistachio cake with frosting of some type (it was delicious!). The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. My extended family had some laughs trying to figure out how to open the elevator door from the inside. If you are American, you may want to ask the desk staff before getting in it or risk feeling very dumb! The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport, which is convenient for an early flight.

Presso il B&B Elephant's smile di Catania ho trovato cose assolutamente inaspettate...ad esempio... non è di tutti i giorni e nella normalità, se non sei in hotel, anche di un certo spessore, trovare pulizia, nettezza e sanificazione di tutti i luoghi comuni, per non parlare delle camere, davvero complimenti, quest'e' stare avanti...la pulizia prima di tutto, consentitemi un complimento speciale e un ringraziamento a chi se ne occupa, con lena e caparbietà...!!! Poi, la posizione a dir poco unica, vicino alla stazione con possibilità di far allenamento la mattina su una pedonale riservata tra ferrovia e mare, stupendo!, a pochi passi dal Duomo e quindi tutto il centro di Catania... ..e poi...lui... Matteo...host spettacolare per tutta la gestione dell'elephant's smile, empaticamente speciale, siamo addirittura arrivati alle confidenze, fiducia, sagacia, disponibilità su tutto,sempre e comunque, simpatico, intelligente, avanti intellettualmente....la finisco qui perché altrimenti diventerei prolisso e logorroico...ma la meriti tutta sta recensione caro Matteo...grazie di tutto e a presto...!!! Eccellente assolutamente

Hotel ini terletak dengan baik, berjalan kaki ke pusat bandar (15 minit) dan berhampiran stesen bas. Biliknya besar dan bersih, walaupun perabotnya agak lama. Katil saiz king sebenarnya diperbuat daripada 2 tilam. Sarapan pagi sedap. Kakitangannya bagus.

Stayed here on the first 2 nights of our holiday in Sicily. We got there very early and they had our room ready, which was very convenient since we arrived quite exhausted because of the flight. The room was clean, not too large but what can you expect with a boutique hotel. The hotel had a very comfortable temperature, nice and cool compared to the outside temperature. The airconditioning worked very well, within a few minutes the room seemed to be cooled down already. Staff was friendly and welcoming as well. The only point of improvement would be the breakfast choices. For someone who is not a fan of meat and cheese, there were only sweet pastries to choose from. Some vegetables and a larger choice of bread would've been ideal. In terms of location I think we couldn't have had a better location. It is on a walking distance from the city center and close to the station as well.
