The house is nice and very spacious...I like the concept of their room. All of us enjoyed our stay. The location is just along the road and accessible.

”The building is older and not totally modernised, but the room we had was nice, very clean and had a very comfortable bed with a good mattress and pillows. Answers from reception were immediate and friendly, be it during email contact before or after the stay, be it at the reception during the stay.”

If you would like a good photo for IG or FB, this is the place for you. I would not describe this place is a resort. This place would be better described as a hotel located within a private gated community. Upon check-in, no one showed us around the area or described anything to us about the grounds. It was apparent that the community around us was separate from the resort. The resort is actually a very small plot of land adjacent to the coast line, which is not Sandy. Only accessible in evening tides. The public beach itself is brown and only a small area. The pool is very nice and picturesque. The grounds has a unique architecture. What is the need of repair and painting. It was a long walk from the so-called resort area to our Barricks. Security is kind enough to take us on the golf cart to our rooms. The energy of the place is that of an old military base and the rooms are located in a military style barracks. It’s like a craft hotel. The rooms have no storage or dresser drawers for your clothing or anywhere to hang anything. The bathroom is cramped and small and believe it or not to receive a blanket do you have to pay an extra 200 pesos per night. The shower was equipped with a hot water heater, which worked well, and the queen size bed was big enough. The air conditioner was cold and noisy but the lack of a blanket made it uncomfortable. The television who is equipped with many channels, however the reception was poor. There is no bar on site however, they can make alcoholic beverages upon request in the dining area of the resort. Across the street from the barracks rooms is a café that is only open during the morning for breakfast. We had breakfast included, which consisted of only one egg, small pieces of bacon, three pieces of toast, some lettuce, and coffee. There was no Buffet. We booked for four nights but could only tolerate it for one night. I only recommend this is a short term stay no more than one night as there’s boring and there’s nothing here to do and no activities. The restaurant menu is limited as well. In conclusion, I would classify this place as a hotel. I would not call it a resort. It’s a place where you can post special events with a nice view.

This place was stunning and was a beautiful get away vacation. The staff is very friendly and professional and the place is well looked after! The only negative thing is that the restaurant/ food is quite expensive.

At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

We enjoyed our stay and diving at Turtle Bay Dive Resort very much. Although it was fully booked during our stay, we didn’t feel crowded, and no services were compromised. All the staff were helpful and friendly. For example, Dennis, the instructor, happened to guide all of our dives, and the manager took care of details before we even asked. It's worth paying extra to get away from the noise and crowds. The ocean view, fresh air, tranquility, good services, and convenience of diving made our trip much more remarkable. We've been diving in the Philippines for over a decade in several spots. It's our second time in Moalboal. Turtle Bay Dive Resort and Moalboal are at the top of our list. Thank you!

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! My friends and I stayed in one of the two Villas that each have a private pool. 3 bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom. The outside patio contains a cozy sofa and lounge area with the pool adjacent. The two bedrooms facing the pool were similar and offered great views across the pool, beautiful landscape towards *****s Island. There was a good sized fridge on the patio along with the sink, gas cook top, and supplies. As there was no functional safe, we left our valuables at the desk. It is a 3 hour drive minimum from Mactan Airport. It's not far. However, the roads are very winding with slow traffic. There's nothing walkable from the resort compound, they do offer a van ride up nearby areas (Ronda for the 7-11 or Moalbal for fun activities) for a reasonable fee. The huts/gazebos out on the pier over the water are no longer there. You do have to order any meals you want, at the restaurant, the day before as they go buy the food needed at the stores the day of. All that said, we absolutely loved our stay here because of: the beautiful landscape; the views over the sea to the Volcano on *****s Island; the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced; and most importantly the staff. Went to Oslob to swim with the whale sharks. Two families, total 9 pax. Needed a place to stay for the night, so we could start early at the whale place the Next morning. This place is perfect. Small but nice. Clean and easy parking in front. 2 minute walk to the whale place. Supervisor Mr. Ken was super service minded. Arranged so instead of queing at 04:00 in the morning, and wait for 4-5hours, he booked us a swimming at 07:00. Could not be better. Many thanks Mr Ken. Saved us some sleep and time in que. Next door is a restaurant. I really recommend Way Shack if you want a good experience of the whale shark swimming.

The Island Front Resort is highly recommended if you are planning on staying in the Oslob area and/or are planning on seeing the whale sharks there. The Island Front Resort rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and located right on the water. It was definitely a very nice treat to eat dinner and breakfast facing the clear blue ocean and Sumilon Island, which is another tourist attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, if you plan on going to see the whale sharks, the staff will arrange transportation for you (at a very fair price) and even fast track you on the boat line with a complimentary guide, which will save you time and eliminate some confusion when you get there. The food (both the dinner and complimentary breakfast) was very good and priced very reasonably. I was hoping for just a clean basic room to sleep in (which I did get), but the good and fairly priced food and being fast tracked on the whale shark line were definitely nice surprise bonuses!! 😊
