It was a good stay. The place is okay. It is very difficult to access the internet though. It's a peaceful place to stay. We do love the paddle boat for 50php/head for 30 mins. I find it cheap. We just didn't enjoy the food so much.

Здравствуйте, первое впечатление об отеле очень положительное, сначала мы забронировали на 4 дня, но нам так понравилось, что мы остались на 2 недели. Красивая ухоженная территория, много цветов, много мест для отдыха. Прекрасные бассейны с морской водой. Очень красивый вид сверху на океан. Номер небольшой, но, есть удобная кровать, душ и раковина, есть кондиционер. Удобная парковка для нашего байка. Снорклинг прекрасный, чистое дно, рыбки, кораллы, звезды. Ночью красивая подсветка на территории отеля. Расположение хорошее, недалеко Сан Франциско, рынок, торговый центр рядом. Отдельно о персонале🤝🙂 Персонал очень дружный, старается, очень дружелюбные, всегда улыбаются, стараются помочь по любому вопросу. Хозяину отеля огромное спасибо у вас прекрасный отель и прекрасные сотрудники. Надеемся вернуться к вам в следующем году. 일단 침구가 엄청 깨끗해요. 근데 산속이고 방문밖이 바로 야외라서 벌레나거미가 방에 들어오긴해요. 뒷바다도 너무 예뻤으나 물뱀이 있어서 무섭긴했어요. 장점은 깨끗하고 수영장 한가하고 수영장에서 보는 바다뷰가 끝내주는거. 단점은 숙소가는길이 비포장도로라 난감한거랑 하수구 잘 안내려가는거랑 수압약한거.........

Very accommodating staff. Very clean and peaceful. During weekdays and it feels like it's exclusively for us. Not crowded and the scenery is very astounding. They offered free side trip and free use of amenities at their sister resort Mangodlong Rock Resort. I am not sure if guests from Mangodlong Rock Resort are free to visit and use the amenities of Santiago Bay Resort. The beach is very wide and you can walk further and still in the shallow part of the sea. I wanna go back there again and would definitely recommend this to anybody else trying to look for a stay in Camotes.

The service was excellent with really nice and accommodating staff. The room was clean and fresh. Seemed newly renovated with nice decor. Shower and toilet worked well. The cleaning was handled fine. The location is outstanding right by the sea in a quiet bay with inviting surroundings. The amenities were satisfactory. The restaurant served local well-cooked food. However, it could take quite a long time to be served when there were many guests. Would have liked a slightly larger selection on the menu and more drinks to choose from. The best part was the breathtaking view of the sea with ships passing in the distance. The resort accepts daily guests. This can inevitably be experienced as disturbing if you are looking for a totally calm environment. It didn't bother us though.

Pros: The environment was very peaceful especially during the night. The ambience was calming & relaxing and the rooms are spacious. Their restaurant had a sufficient amount of choices except they only have halo2x for dessert good thing the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Cons: I have not been informed that our room is on the 2nd floor and isolated when there were available rooms facing the pool in a cheaper price. The shower was not working well and rusty, I had to go down all the way to the reception to complain as there was no telephone at all in the room. Our room was not well-prepared, there were no towels and toiletries as well as rugs to dry our feet from the shower room. The TV was outdated, it seemed like we were watching from a pirated dvd with the picture quality. The staff needs more training especially with serving food in the restaurant considering that their food is quite pricey. They won’t serve or offer you water and table napkin unless you ask them. In general, camotes is a very nice place but travelling there is time consuming. There’s only one time a slot per day in travelling to the island and going back to Ormco City. The boat from ormoc leaves at 1PM and arrives in Bokok later than 4PM, your day has been wasted. Also, when going back to Ormoc the trip is ridiculously early around 6AM.
