AVOID AT ALL COST and save yourself time, money and headache. While waiting to be checked-in, other customers were spoken to rudely - this should've been the first sign of what is about to be our experience & more. While checking in, we were asked for more documentation which we didn’t have on-hand. He refused to check us in, fully aware that we had stayed at 3 other hotels who never requested this documentation from us. Rather than having an adult conversation & helping customers, he continued to be rude & started belittling other hotels we previously stayed at. He also told us that if we left, we wouldn’t find any hotels that would allow us in without the document & that we’d end up coming back to this hotel - a scare tactic he assumed we'd fall into, as it was way past 9/10 PM and 2 females trying to check-in a hotel in Delhi. After an excruciating conversation, we left & found a hotel that checked us in without any issues and did not request any extra documentation from us. Please note, that during our entire trip to India we've checked into 11 hotels, none of which have asked us for the extra documentation that this hotel had asked for. They denied us a refund even though they were the ones to refuse to check us in. Moreover, after my experience with other hotels in India, I advise everyone to be cautious with the documents you are providing here, as I wouldn't be surprised if they might be running an ID theft scam business, with this hotel as a front.
