"The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. Just a heads-up for breakfast: it's served until 10 AM and is 100% Indonesian. If that's not your preference, you'll have to look for food elsewhere. My main disappointment was that the room window didn't open, and there was an unpleasant odor both in the room and in the hallways. I suggest the establishment consider using air diffusers to improve the atmosphere."

"Review: 5-Star Hotel Stay – Mixed Experience. I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel Aug 2025, which, despite its grandeur, is showing its age at nearly a decade old. The property retains an elegant charm, but certain aspects left me with mixed feelings. Room and Cleanliness: The room was impressively spacious, a highlight of the stay, with a bit old decor and ample space to relax. However, the cleanliness was average at best. While the surfaces appeared tidy, there were noticeable signs of wear, and the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke was a major downside. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room through Trip.com and reiterated this during check-in, but was informed that no non-smoking rooms were available. As a gesture, the staff upgraded me to a higher-tier room, which I appreciated, but the cigarette odor was still strong, lingering in both the room and the hotel corridors. This was particularly disappointing for a 5-star property. Service Issue: To address the smoke smell, I called room service to request an air freshener. After waiting 30 minutes with no delivery, I had to call again. The second time, the staff promptly delivered it, which helped slightly, but the experience felt inconsistent with the hotel’s luxury branding. Amenities: On a positive note, the breakfast was exceptional—diverse, mix of local and International cuisine. The swimming pool was another highlight, well-maintained, and a relaxing spot to unwind with an indoor and outdoor scenic view. Overall: While the spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast, and nice pool were highlights, the cigarette smell and inconsistent service detracted from the experience. For a 5-star hotel, I expected better attention to cleanliness and guest requests. I’d recommend this hotel for its amenities but urge management to address the smoking issue and improve service responsiveness to truly meet 5-star standards. Rating: 3.5/5"

"It was quite hard to find a hotel that accommodates 3 adults (traveling with parents), but thankfully this one did! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the service was excellent. I also felt very safe here, with security at the entrance and super friendly reception staff. The location is very convenient — right by Thamrin with easy access to tourist spots. Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia are within walking distance, and if you’re tired after shopping or carrying a lot of bags, Grab or Gojek is just a few taps away. The bathroom can be a bit slippery and at times I noticed a sewage smell, but overall it didn’t affect my stay much. I can’t comment on the towels as I usually bring my own but would be nicer if they can replace with new ones. But, I will definitely come back again."

"I’m considering my self as regular guess because every time I went to Jakarta this hotel always be my only choice base on strategic location & of course the hotel cleanliness. But this time I feel it would be great if they maintain the cleanliness. Upon enter the room I realise there’s some stain on the carpet and the towel looks dirty. And for the breakfast choice would be better if more varieties (more choice of western) since some of the guess is foreigners. And it would be better more amenities too. Thanks!"

"The location of the hotel for me is strategic althought the route to the hotel is quite packed. You will be suprised that there are local stalls along the hotel where you can try! Alfarmart is also near to the hotel The lift of the hotel only has 1 so you need to be patient a bit while waiting for your turn😅 Overall the price is affordable for the short stay and I would highly recommended for those who love short vacay"

"This was my first hotel in Jakarta and I’m so glad I booked it. The staff is so kind and accomodating, they really went above and beyond to meet my requests for an HDMI cord and room service. I got an executive room, and it was spacious, but I kind of expected it to be a little bigger for the price I paid. Their whirlpool and sauna are AMAZING and I definitely recommend anyone that’s visiting to try it. I had a lot of privacy while enjoying their amenities, but the staff made sure to give me the full experience anyway and attended to all my needs. I think there were ongoing renovations when I visited so booking via Grab was a little difficult. Booking their Main Lobby as the pinned location was way easier via Gojek— less cranky drivers that need to reroute this way."

"On a business trip to Jakarta, I stayed here. The security check at the entrance was quite strict, which made me feel very safe. The hotel grounds are quite spacious, and the back garden is also very large. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options. It's very close to the mosque, within walking distance. The rooms are a bit older but quite clean."

"The Hotel is situated strategically near Tamrin City and Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia, but the cleanliness is not quite okay, we got breakfast and it was okay, overall it is a good experience, the air conditioning was bad at first, the room was hot, but the service is good once we complaint the worker clean the filter for us and the air conditioning is okay"
