Qizi Bay New Century Resort is probably the best hotel in the area. It's right by the sea, offering fantastic views. The hotel is quite large and the environment is pleasant. The rooms are spacious with scenic balconies and are kept clean. The breakfast selection is rich, and they even have freshly ground coffee. The front desk staff are very friendly. Parking is convenient, making it ideal for those traveling by car. Overall, this hotel at Qizi Bay is highly recommended.

The room was excellent, spacious, and had a fantastic view directly overlooking the infinity pool. The 2-meter bed was incredibly comfortable. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; they provided fruits and snacks, and even helped carry our luggage upstairs. Their attitude was wonderful, and they continued to assist us all the way to the car when we checked out. The hotel also offers many free recreational facilities, making it perfect for families with children. Highly recommended, we'll definitely visit again!

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, with a swimming pool and a water park. The kids had a blast, and the staff were very responsible, helping to look after them. If you need to leave for a short time, you can ask the water park staff to watch your children, and they do a great job. However, I couldn't find a self-service laundry area, so if you're staying for an extended period, you'll need to figure out your own laundry. There are very few charging stations; only a few above ground, and the underground parking only has dedicated Tesla chargers. The staff weren't very clear on this; we circled around several times without finding any, and only after asking customer service were we told there weren't any. Later, needing to charge urgently, we had to go to Dajiao Park for a fast charge. The hotel has a restaurant, and the prices are reasonable. You can also go to Changhua Town to eat; there's a small shop there that serves more than just noodles, and their dishes are delicious. The owner is very welcoming, and things aren't expensive. They even have my favorite pea and minced pork noodles. Environment: The environment is great, the scenery is beautiful, and it's very close to the beach, perfect for clamming. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, and trash was promptly removed. The day before, the breakfast had pancakes, and they had made a lot. A guest saw a fly land on them, so the staff threw them all into the trash. The next day, there was a chef making them fresh on the spot, so hygiene is definitely assured. Service: If you need anything, you can contact the front desk, and a service staff member will respond quickly. We brought our child and requested extra blankets and drinking water, which were all delivered for free. There's a third-party photographer, but their skill level is very average. Just take the complimentary photos; don't choose extra photos for fine-tuning, as they look like fake Photoshop jobs. Their skill really isn't good.

The room was clean and the environment was beautiful, it's just that the price was a bit high for a holiday.

This time, I stayed at Changjiang New Century Resort with my child, and from check-in to check-out, we were consistently impressed by the warm and enthusiastic service from our butler, Xiao Xiao. As soon as we got out of the car, she came jogging over with a smile to help with our luggage and proactively introduced all the children's activities – her attention to detail was exceptional! The family-friendly facilities were an even bigger surprise: Water Park: The 40,000 sqm kids' water fortress features slides, a pirate ship, and other attractions, plus a huge heated swimming pool. My daughter loved it so much she didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay by another night. Childcare Services: The kids' club had a full day of activities planned. The Li ethnic bamboo pole dance lessons and handicraft classes kept my child so engaged that she didn't want to leave, truly freeing up the parents. Other highlights: Thoughtful Dining: For breakfast, freshly made seafood congee and Hainan rice noodles were available, and the chefs adjusted seasonings to suit children's preferences. In summary: This place offers an experience and family-friendly amenities far beyond expectations, all at half the price of Sanya. Xiao Xiao and her team's smiles were as warm as the sunset over Qizi Bay. When we left, my child cried and said, 'I want to come again next year!' – that's the best review one could ask for!

Extremely satisfied! Due to a typhoon, we had to check in earlier, and the front desk staff, Chen Haozhen, was incredibly helpful in resolving the issue. She also upgraded rooms for Tong Ying and my family. All the staff were very warm and welcoming, the breakfast was abundant, and the private small beach was also quite nice. Since it was off-season, there were very few people, which was great. We'll definitely stay here again! I even forgot my charger when checking out, and they promptly sent it to me by courier! The only downside is that dining options are inconvenient; aside from the hotel, you have to go to town for meals, which are generally mediocre.

Traveling along the western coast of Hainan, Qizi Bay probably boasts the most beautiful seascapes. As it's a less common destination with limited hotel options, I chose Kaiyuan, having had a good experience at a Kaiyuan hotel in Beihai previously. This hotel is indeed quite old and dated. However, it's very large, the surroundings are beautiful with excellent greenery, and the views are stunning, especially at sunset. The room itself was a bit disappointing, even though the front desk kindly upgraded my room type. The cleanliness was subpar; there were still hairs left behind from the previous guest. Thankfully, there's a dehumidifier, so dampness wasn't an issue. The Zhongjiao Beach right below the hotel is truly a hidden gem. I hope the hotel cherishes such a wonderful view and location by upgrading its facilities, improving cleanliness, and enhancing service quality. The pillows were terrible – soft, flat, and unsupportive. Breakfast wasn't tasty and had limited options, with generally poor quality. Qizi Bay is genuinely a treasure, and I hope it gets properly developed to attract more well-known hotel brands.

This was my first trip and I had a fantastic time! The cost was reasonable, and we avoided all the back-and-forth traffic that usually comes with popular tourist routes. Let me start with check-in. I'm from Haikou and after seeing good reviews and reasonable prices, I drove 2.5 hours specifically to check this place out, and it definitely didn't disappoint. First, parking was easy with plenty of spots right in front of the lobby. When I arrived, the front desk was quite busy, so I didn't expect overly enthusiastic service. With so many guests, I understood, and I was just grateful that the staff processed my check-in quickly. Second, the service was outstanding. I had booked a package deal, and due to an oversight during booking, I booked a king-sized bed for our family of four. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, the staff immediately changed us to a twin room. The room was very spacious, with a small balcony and access to the swimming pool. Xiao Lin, who was on duty that day, patiently taught me about the activities available at the resort. The swimming pool attendant was also very friendly, and the archery range attendant, being from mainland China, was very outgoing. The kids loved the complimentary archery session, then went on to play bumper cars and laser tag. They had an absolute blast, and the prices were reasonable. I ended up buying two more '3 activities for 98 yuan' packages. Third, the food. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, probably around 60 different items. The restaurant's operating hours were also very considerate; breakfast ran until 10:30 AM and lunch until 2:30 PM. It's truly designed for a relaxed vacation. I do have a small suggestion: the Chinese restaurant's service and decor were excellent, but the Hainan sour bamboo shoot with sliced pork dish they offered that day, while delicious in Hainan, really impacted the restaurant's aroma. The entire restaurant smelled of it. I suggest perhaps offering more universally appealing dishes that don't have such a strong scent. On a positive note, the steamed yellow croaker at the restaurant was exceptionally good; my daughter said it was the best steamed fish she'd ever had. Oh, and there are also many great food options around the hotel. We ate at the hotel on our first day, and both the price and taste were good. But we also wanted to experience local cuisine, so we went into town. We were lucky to find a restaurant called 'Hunan Renjia' – the proprietress's warm welcome immediately convinced us. Our family had four dishes, all very generous portions. I highly recommend the fan bone, stir-fried crab, Japanese tofu, and steamed egg. The total bill was 245 yuan. Our kids were so satisfied; they truly cleaned their plates. There are also many activities available. The three water activities are all grouped together: swimming, a water park, and a lazy river. (When buying tickets, make sure to check if the water park is included, as it costs 60 yuan per person if not.) There's also a naughty castle, a gym, and a beachcombing activity (starts at 9:00 AM; I recommend kids wear sandals for this, or even go barefoot to feel the seawater. Don't use the small water shoes provided by the hotel as they fill with water and are hard to walk in, preventing kids from fully experiencing the sea.) The guest rooms are also really nice. We received complimentary fresh fruit, and there's a big bathtub which we loved. The kids bathed in it on the first day, but honestly, we barely spent any time in the room afterward; there were too many fun activities to enjoy! We checked out at noon that day and didn't return to Haikou until 7:00 PM. Next time, I'll definitely aim for a three-day, two-night package. Well, I hope this review provides some helpful tips for future travelers. Oh, and if you're a light sleeper, I also recommend this place. The soundproofing in their rooms is truly excellent; not a single noise. This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review.

I chose a 3-day, 2-night package for 1234 yuan in July 2024, and a 6-day, 5-night package for 1999 yuan in August 2025. For the 2024 summer holiday, an additional 200 yuan per night was required, but not for the 2025 summer holiday. In 2024, a summer night cost 817 yuan, while in 2025, it's 399 yuan per night (which is why I opted for the 6-day, 5-night stay). The value for money is exceptional: 1. In 2025, I witnessed three absolutely stunning sunsets (no sunsets in 2024, as it was cloudy). 2. In 2024, I saw beautiful 'glassy' seas (in 2025, the waves were too strong, so no glassy sea). 3. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive (gym, swimming pool, kids' play castle, water park, lazy river rafting, beachcombing, picking ripe cactus fruits...). 4. The hotel has its own restaurant, and I found the prices quite reasonable (there's a 50-yuan voucher daily, usable for purchases over 200 yuan, so a meal typically costs around 180 yuan). 5. There are many worthwhile places to visit nearby: Xiantian Village (visited in 2025, saw Wulie sheep, vast grasslands, and cattle herds); Shayutang Village (visited in 2024, a filming location for 'Back to Field'); the internet-famous road (worth a quick photo, but the beach isn't particularly pretty). 6. I found the complimentary breakfast to be incredibly rich (self-serve Qingbuliang, ample fruit, claypot seafood porridge, pan-fried buns...). 7. A small bag of fruit (around 4 pieces) is delivered daily. Exceptional value for money! 👍👍👍 8. The rocky beach is perfect for kids to catch crabs and play in the sand. An incredibly high-value hotel! 9. On the way back, you can take the children to Danzhou, the final stop of Su Dongpo's exile, to visit the Dongpo Academy. An incredibly high-value hotel!

We chose the west route for our island tour and decided to stay at this hotel in Qizi Bay for two nights. The hotel offers beautiful scenery, especially for sunset views, which are absolutely stunning. The infinity pool is also very large. Breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and there was an unpleasant odor in the back part of the restaurant, possibly due to its age. Overall, the breakfast was just average. The bedding in the room felt damp and sticky, which was quite uncomfortable.

Before heading back, I made a special trip to Qiziwan for another day of fun. It felt a bit rushed, and it's a shame I didn't have more time to fully experience everything. Pros: The resort is large, there's a shuttle service to Dajiaowan, the room facilities are well-equipped and spacious, and breakfast is plentiful. Cons: Check-in efficiency was extremely low. For a family-friendly hotel (I'm assuming it aims to be one), it's surprising that the water park costs extra, and even swim rings need to be purchased separately. Some areas of the resort were closed, which indicates average operation. Given the low room rate, the overall value for money is still pretty good.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied! There are so many rooms, and it takes a good 5-minute walk from the entrance to get to mine, which is really far, too far! The breakfast was decent though! And the pool definitely has some character.

The front desk arranged a sea-view room for me, which was great. Cleanliness: The cleanliness wasn't up to par; I saw cigarette butts on the balcony and hair on the floor. Environment: The environment was alright, but I didn't have enough time to go to the beach. The lobby decor was nice. The indoor playground isn't very big, and the equipment is a bit old. I wanted to go to the outdoor water slides, but found out there was an extra charge, and it wasn't cheap, so I gave up.

This is our second time at Qiziwan New Century Hotel. Compared to two years ago, there's a noticeable decline, mainly due to the aging facilities. The surfing machine I was looking forward to was broken, and the conveyor belt for the inner tubes at the big waterslide was out of order. Despite this, we still bought tickets for the big waterslide as a family. Oh, and both of our rooms got upgraded for several nights, but one of them was noticeably damp, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly; it had a strong urine smell. On another note, I'd highly recommend dining at the hotel; it's clean, reasonably priced, and reliable. Other than that, we were generally satisfied. Keep up the good work!
