We had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay. Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way. A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. This place has all the attributes of a good Boutique. Great decor, Newari architectural charm, the right amount of creature comforts, and personalized and friendly hospitality. IF it fixes a few holes in the fabric, it could be a winner. The biggest letdown was the extremely lame breakfast that had almost no good local food in it and the dated room interior. IF they get that fixed they can be a true charmer. LOCATION: Good location in old Bhaktapur and walkable from Durbar square and ll points of interest DINE + DRINK: The Breakfast was a disappointment and it was closed quite early in the night even before we arrived. There is also No good Bar on site. ROOM: We stayed in Room 401, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the cityscape ; SIZE: Spacious enough with a huge living room and s separate Bedroom; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: A very doo Bathtub shower with no shower curtains! ; TOILETRIES: Very random cosmetics, better to bring your own FACILITIES: No gym on site, but there is an outdoor pool that is unusable in colder weathers. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to RINA at front desk and SAIU at the breakfast restaurant HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Super slow Wi-Fi that was patchy in the room! Big Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Jhapad,Rohit, Bikash, Nisto they are very kind and professional. They always checked if the food was okay and asked if he needed anything. Thank you for your care. Thanks to them, I was able to have a comfortable meal. I totally recommend the hotel breakfast restaurant.

Hotel is amazing with great views, great rooms and wonderful staff. At the breakfast, Roshan was amazing to help us and because of him we had an amazing breakfast and a great talk. At check in, we had an amazing experience by Bharat who helped us check in, as well as helping us set up a great hike nearby. Finally Basante was also great in the evening times when he told us about the history and landscapes of Nepal, as well as helping us set up a yoga class in the morning. Thanks to these staff members we had a wonderful experience, with great views, weather, and peace.

New Hotel with Great Roof Top View, needs to improve. Room is nice, smells new, however bed sheet is completely new , itchy , it’s like just bought and not washed , direct to the bed or been there dusty for long time. Towel is dirty white, not convenient. Water is totally disappointed, Color yellow, un-filtered and smells. Need proper filtration. Massage, all is new, bed is sounding haha , no music , no aroma for 8k local currency, 1 hour, masseuse was good. Food some are great, some are tough. View is the best for this hotel, but they open only afternoon to 10.. if you are sunrise person , this hotel is not for you. Sun set was great. Staffs are friendly, however next visit should be more thoughtful on guiding guests, where is elevator, what are facilities and hotel can offer. Breakfast was fair, price is recommendable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service is top-notch. Rooms are very clean and they provide all the necessary amenities. We loved the view from our room and on a clear day, you can see the Himalayas. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff are so attentive and quick. Dinner at the restaurant was on the pricier side. We ordered a cheese pizza that tasted very bland and had to send it back. The chef added more cheese on top and reheated the pizza which made it worse. However, the waiter was very nice enough to send the pizza back again and removed it from our bill. Apart from that, we would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

I think it was an alright stay overall. the rooms were quite nice. just know there are no elevators. but I think the 6th floor (terrace) is the highest (and the ground-ish floor is a level 3). Breakfast buffet was good too, service was nice. The view of the sunrise and sunset can be abit obscured by clouds at time but still a nice view in its own right.. overall quite satisfied :)

Staying at Kavya Resort & Spa was absolutely a highlight of our trip in Nepal. The resort is unquestionably beautiful with our suite overlooking the Himalayas (during allowable weather conditions). The resort is also favorably situated uphill with just a 10-15 mins short walk to a 360 view point where we can have a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset. Indeed, we could also see the sunrise from our suite at some corners which was fascinating as well. Staff here was excellent, thoughtful and caring. Their services were extraordinary which I was very impressed. Architectural design of the buildings/villas are nice, food is nice as well. We had a meditation session with Shree Swami Ji which was a complementary activity offered by the hotel. Shree Swami Ji is very knowledgeable and professional. Shree Swami Ji presented us knowledge of meditation, idea, usage, and such. I am a curious person and would like to understand how thing is done and why it’s done. Therefore, the session suits me a lot which was at the same time relaxing and meditation knowledge gained. We had also happened to have done a numeric astrological session with Shree Swami Ji. It was very interesting. I have done other astrological, zodiac or Chinese fung shui analyses before. I’d say the numeric astrological has provided us a deeper understanding of our personal trait and I am happy that we had this consultation with Shree Swami Ji. He also provided us remedies on what we could do going forward to balance our different energies. This session enhanced my experience at Kavya which I think apart from being relaxed, I have gained a thorough understanding of myself as well. We only stayed for one night at the resort which I now regret that I have not stayed longer. I will for sure return to Kayva in my next visit to Kathmandu and arrange at least a 2 to 3-night stay at Kavya to participate other activities offered such as yoga, visiting to villages, and so on. The atmosphere at the resort and our sessions with Shree Swami Ji were very relaxing. I feel like my mind and soul are utterly cleansed after my stay.

這是在納加闊特最棒的酒店了吧。設施也比較好，酒店有自助晚餐，還能吃到來自木斯塘的土豆，真的很美味。游泳池沒有使用，因為太冷了，一羣快樂的尼泊爾非常享受泳池。由於天氣原因沒有看到喜馬拉雅山，不過風景還是不錯的。（在逛酒店的時候誤入酒店員工步道，也是堆放垃圾的地方，真的是臭氣沖天，是我這輩子聞到最臭的氣味了，建議酒店設置路牌避免住客誤入）

Was able to make a video. Cannot post that one on Trip app. For this trip to Nepal, I had a driver scheduled ahead of time to make the drive up there in the dark easier. Pay extra if they stay or go down. No need to leave the property, but lovely locals in both road directions. It seems lots of people take their motorbikes up. There’s even college students and bus groups. Some vacant and less expensive hostels, but this location has everything needed. I think it’s a good night or two to stay. I arrived dinner and stayed two nights. All employees wonderful. Binod said Hotel can help arrange driver, but the bus also comes up. Sunrise depends on fog. Good either way.
