Staff was riendly and extremely helpful, their service was impeccable. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials especially bolster (I love it very much).
Food was amazing and very delicious. The atmosphere is airly and warm welcome, we particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and watching the garden.

Started with the reservation, staff very helpful to complete my booking and other requirement. The room was clean and very comfortable, also well maintenance as well as good Wifi. The topnotch for this hotel would be a quiet, peaceful and beautiful river view that you can be enjoyed from balcony. Breakfast can choose one from three with a la carte menu and some snack on buffet line. The convenient location as not far from tourist attraction.

Having slept at several low-rise hotels by the Chanthaburi River, I though it would be nice to see Chanthaburi from high-rise. Looking at my options, I could only find KP Grand being perhaps the tallest building in Chanthaburi. Room rates are not expensive, but that's probably because the rooms are dated and retro. However the services are standard for such a hotel, with all the necessities required in a room. There's a dining room with standard breakfast, but there's a lot more convenient dining options nearby the hotel, if you don't mind the weather. It's mostly local food and if you really need something modern, Central Chanthaburi is a short walk away. I'd stay here just for the view. But make sure you ask them if they have the highest floor available. As mentioned, old hotel. So if the lifts break down, prepare yourself to climb up the stairs. And if the case of fire... do what's necessary to get down to the ground. (p.s. there are smoking rooms)

We stayed 1 night while on our way to Koh Chang. The location of the hotel (a rundown soi at this moment) does not suggest a ”Boutique” experience, but in fact it was a nice overnight stay. Very friendly staff at reception. We took a room with river-view and balcony. Room was very spacious and all facilities in good working order: enough power-outlets, bedside lights, excellent rainshower. Only thing not working properly was the (small) fridge. there is a nice new promenade that runs alongside the river (accessible from the nice hotel garden), but if you follow it in the direction of the bridge (city-center) it's a dead-end and you need to exit by going back to the hotel or cross a building site. Other side of the bridge is a busy nigh-market with lots of food-stalls, but I recommend the Japanese restaurant on the right side of the road just before you cross the bridge (around the corner of the Robinson Shopping Cr). Excellent japanese food and just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast (buffet) at the hotel can be taken in the garden. All in all a good deal.

Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir immer zum Abschluss unserer 3 monatigen Thailandrundreise gerne in dieses Hotel das sehr ruhig am Fluss liegt. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und sauber, das Frühstück ist überwiegend auf Thais ausgerichtet aber dafür ist man ja in Thailand und nicht in Europa. Das einzig Negative sind die kalten Eier, auch die vorbereiteten Speisen sind nicht warm aber gut. Leider hapert es im Restaurant mit den Englischkenntnissen da einfach nicht verstanden wird dass man das frisch gemachte Spiegelei nicht auf beiden Seiten gebraten haben will, aber das war fast in jedem Hotel abseits der Touristengebiete der Fall. Wir verstehen einfach nicht warum die jungen Menschen kein Wort Englisch sprechen wenn es angeblich in den Schulen gelernt wird.

When I was about to check out, I heard the commotion right outside my room which was on the third floor. When I opened the door, I saw the minor flood over the hallway, caused by the leaking, hanging, pipe. Among a few staffs actively taking care of the flood, a lady turned to me and said ”Please be very careful” so many times with soft, but concerned, voice. What impressed me the most is when she saw that I used the walking stick, she grabbed my arm and helped support me all the way to the elevator. I could tell that she has a genuine heart; very caring and attentive, and I found out later that she is the owner of the hotel, who came to take care of the leaking issue. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you once again to the management and the staff of the hotel, and hope that the leaking problem has been fixed. In addition, I would like to make a note about the breakfast. I love the taste and the idea of bringing local food and dessert to the table. However, if some of the dishes, such as pork noodle and boiled rice, had been served hot, taste would be perfect.

PPengguna TetamuGreat location, beautiful and clean hotel. After a long day visiting the city and surrounding areas it's an oasis. Simple but delicious breakfast. The staff don't speak much engbit they are friendly and helpful. Quite for a good night sleep. Near main attraction, markets, church, water front old Town, walking distance front bus station from and to koh Chang or Bangkok.

IisthatcaptainMy friends and I visited Baan Rim Ao Resort in August 2019. Baan Rim Ao Resort is a bayside resort located near the Gulf of Thailand and many tourist attractions in Chanthaburi like Old Town Chantaboon Waterfront and The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. For the transportation to the resort, since my friends and I couldn't drive. We took a public transportation to Chanthaburi Bus Terminal. Then, we asked the resort to come pick us up. When we arrived at the resort, we were stunned by the beautiful scenery and the beautiful decoration. Moreover, the sound of the waterfall near the reception made us feel relaxed and so ready for a vacation that we longed for. The hotel's decoration is very simple but stunning. The wall has the quote about vacation painted on it, for example, 'travel more, worry less'. The room was amazing as well. The resort provided everything you wanted such as the fridge, the hairdryer, some snacks, some bottle of water, and television. The bathroom is very clean and quite big as well. The scenery from the room is stunning. We can see the pond of water lilies and the resort's garden which made us feel very relaxed and close to the nature and the swimming pool. The garden has so many place to take a picture and since it is near the bay, it is very windy too! But again, stunning view. The food is quite nice since the resort also has a restaurant called Bang Manao within the resort. Our first dinner there was remarkable. Breakfast was also provided. The resort had variety of food from sticky rice with a grilled pork to a cereal and a salad. Everything was yummy too, impressive! The resort also provided Wi-Fi to the guests. For us, the internet connection was quite good and we didn't have any problem using it. They also had bicycle rental service for the guests who wants to ride a bicycle around the area. We rode a bicycle to King Taksin The Great Shipyard which located very near the resort. Apart from that, thing that impressed us the most was the resort's staffs. The resort's staffs were very nice and friendly to us. We had a nice chat with P'Amm who was at the reception. The other staffs were friendly as well. They took care of us when we asked for a bicycle and since we couldn't drive, they drove us to the tourist attraction that we wanted to go before we went back to Bangkok. I would like to say again that they took care of the guests very well and you won't be disappointed. All in all, this was one of the most enjoyable trip that I had. Even though the resort located a bit far from the city, it was quiet and peaceful and worth every penny. Nice decoration, nice food, and the staffs were very nice too! If you want a nice and peaceful experience when you visit Chanthaburi, Baan Rim Ao resort is a place for you!

KKeith JFReally amazing hotel, the hotel is very simple with 8 rooms on each floor, 24 rooms in total. The hotel is quite far from main road or the turning in road.

Service 5/5 this is highly depends on individual and language barrier , but the receptionist is more than helpful at all times
Facilities 5/5 acceptable and adequate facilities for a 3 star, with cold aircond, hot showers and a simple balcony. + Some free titbits in the morning
Parking 5/5 plenty of parking is available but it does get crowded in late night

PPengguna TetamuSo we wanted a place in town with a swimming pool and not too expensive. So the staff are great and it their upmost to make guests comfortable. They didn’t have a full time chef so on breakfast was served , it’s basic . The pool area needs fixing , bits of flooring is damaged and a hazard. Do not get a balcony room if you have kids . They have a panel on the balcony which is a death trap , it’s one of the panels you have in the garden as a grown assist. The location is good with restaurants in walking distance! Avoid the place next door, Asian fusion which is awful, small portions, over priced and terrible food. The place is a bit noisy next to the road.

PPengguna TetamuHotel in Chantaburi, Center Hotel. We booked two rooms. One room was for my disabled mother. Room had not accessible Bathroom for disabled person. After complaining to front desk, they have changed to another room. Another room was dirty, had bugs and doors did not lock. My mother went to toilet to wash hands and sink fall off with danger to injure her. We complained to staff, they said not to worry and seem to be aware there is problem like this. When we checkout, front desk staff tried to charge us for room upgrade. Even there was not mentioning last night, we will be charged higher rate. After I complained, they said mother destroyed sink, which was already damaged. They confiscated our deposit 400 ThB and staff was rude.

PPengguna TetamuDas Hotel liegt abseits in einer Gasse. Viele Hunde, macht die Ankunft mit Motorrad nicht angenehm. Nicht erschrecken, von außen sieht's nicht sehr einladend aus.Check in problemlos, wir waren im dritten Stock. Die Zimmer sind renoviert. Einfach, reicht für die Durchreise. Für längeren Aufenthalt zu abseits. Keine Getränke oder Essen. Wir wurden auf Lineman/ Grab verwiesen. Spät abends füllte sich das Hotel mit anderen Reisenden die ebenfalls nur eine Nacht dort waren. In unserem Fall 3 große Familien ( Thais). Das war schon laut aufm Flur/ Treppenhaus ( Aufzug gibt es keinen). Am Morgen kann man sich an einer Kaffeebar bedienen. Auschecken....einfach Schlüssel in das Körbchen an der Rezeption. Personal haben wir nur bei Ankunft gesehen, die waren aber sehr nett ( schlechtes Englisch). Fazit: Es ist ok- Preis/ Leistung haben wir schon besser übernachtet, einfach und sehr schlicht.
