Hotel berhampiran Roux, Charleroi

Très pratique grâce aux navettes (10€) organisées par l'hôtel. Les chambres sont propres et bien tenues. Le personnel de l'accueil est disponible et très professionnel. Seul bémol est qu'il ny A pas de restaurants à proximité mais on peut se faire livrer des repas (penser à demander des couverts ou à découper les pizzas...). Les chauffeurs de taxis / navettes sont en général serviables et sympas. Ils sont disponibles sur demande à partir de 4h du matin, c'est pratique.

Very close to the main street. Clean an beautiful inside. This is a fitness center at the ground floor but we haven't made use of it. It was amazing to see my name on the TV when I stapped into the room. The reception is very friendly and provided service at a professional way. Highly suggested.

We booked this stay to celebrate our Anniversary. We choose the royal package so we could enjoy the wellness, dinner and breakfast all in one. I had emailed the hotel in advance that it was our anniversary and they said they usually don't provide extras with such occassions but they were willing to have a bottle of wine ready in the room. Unfortunately we never did receive that. Wellness was a nice addition to the package. Jacuzzi, sauna, infra red and showers. Good enough to use for an hour. Dinner was the high point of our evening. The dishes were delicious and nicely plated. 5 courses of amazing skill and flavor. I would come back soly to eat in this restaurant!!! Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Everything your expect of a 4 star hotel. Mini bar, amenities etc The only reason I can't score this experience more then 3 stars is because of the breakfast. In my opnion (with experience staying in hotels over the world like USA, Canada, UK, Morocco, Lebanon etc) this was not a 4 star experience. The overall selection is very limited. The deli meats were only consisting of pork so we could not eat from it. Some salmon would have been a nice addition. I never in my whole life have had to fry, bake my own eggs in a 4 star hotel. This is one the weirdest things I have experienced. Me standing at a stove making my own eggs while paying well over 300 euro for a nights stay. You really need to up your game when it comes to breakfast. At least get a chef to provide nicely made omelets, scrambeld eggs etc. There are only 30 rooms so you could provide such an excellent standard if you put in the effort. The breakfast buffet area is also very dark and small. Kept bumping into people and let's not start about the very slow coffee machine. Overall the stay would have been perfect if we didn't have to check out with the experience of such a bad morning. Hopefully this is something you can improve on then it would be 5star

Good location, nice experience, friendly staff! We will for sure recommend the location and surroundings to other people, hotel accommodation was great, the weather was not the best one but as it was a short stay for sure we will come back for a longer one in order to benefit from the full facilities!

Nous avons choisi ce lieu magnifique pour notre mariage malheureusement la politesse et la gentillesse de certains des responsables du lieu sont loin du minimum syndical que vous pourriez espérer pour ce genre de lieu… la veille du mariage je m’entend dire par la propriétaire qu’il y’a un séminaire et que donc je ne dois faire aucun bruit et ne pas encombrer le passage et que c’est un privilège de me laisser décorer la salle que j’ai loué plus de 3000€ et que je l’ai bien choisi donc c’est à ses conditions ! Mes invités ainsi que mes prestataires se sont littéralement fait agresser et menacer d’être foutu à la porte par madame. Les engagements fournis par les propriétaires n’ont pas été respecté et le soir meme nous nous retrouvons avec notre chanteuse nue en train de se changer mise dehors de son local sans même avoir l’occasion de récupérer ses costumes de scène… Bien que nous ayons eu une discutions au calme le lendemain matin, tout fait que je ne peux malheureusement mettre qu’un avis négatif sur ce lieu pourtant magnifique. Je ne peux que vous conseiller de chercher un autre lieu pour votre mariage si vous souhaitez éviter ce genre de stress supplémentaires…

This hotel is the best and most spacious Ibis hotel I’ve been to. The decor is stylish and chic with well thought out amenities. Nice big room with comfortable beds and views. Breakfast buffet was simple but nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. My family and I are extremely happy with this hotel, I wish I’ve booked here for more than two nights.

Last minute booking on a wandering trip with no agenda. Namur was not on the list of places to visit and it was by chance that we found the chateau on *********** as it was kind of on the way to our next destination. We arrived late to a warm welcome from reception and a room upgrade. The chateau is in a wonderful location perched on the top of a cliff top citadel that tracks its history back 2000 years and is surrounded by lovely gardens and woods. The room was spacious and first class, as was the service and splendid breakfast. Parking is free at the hotel and we took full advantage in the morning to catch the cable car from the summit of the citadel (a five minute walk to the cable car) to the centre of the old Namur town (6 euro return for seniors) a great experience to cap off a lovely stay.
