Booked this location because it’s close to the BOA Stadium. Ron at the front desk, Wanda at the omelet station and Victoria at the bar were amazing. They’re the reason I’ll always book here. Ron greeted us and accommodated our every request. We arrived early but they could not accommodate early check in. Ron took us the the public private bathroom where we were able to get dressed for the game and stored our luggage. He showed us an area for us to relax that was in a quieter location than the front desk and was very comfortable. Later in the day at the Victoria made the BEST margaritas. She was quick and friendly. Wanda was fun and a ball of energy at the breakfast omelet station. Singing and slanging eggs was a refreshing start to the morning. Ann was super attentive and friendly. She helped my son make a waffle and helped clean our table. She made sure we were satisfied during breakfast. Overall the staff here are wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and very clean but the staff sets this property apart from others I’ve stayed at in the area. Everyone was extremely friendly.

We hosted our family reunion here August 30 - September 1. The rooms were decent, bar options nice and manager's reception a plus. Negatives I was charged an additional charge of $699 in addition to the cost for my three night stay and I’m still not clear why? I called and asked the front desk upon immediate discovery and they said it would fall off in a few days but WHY charge and hold these fees in the first place on top of my paid bill? If this money was already allocated for my expected and normal expenses I could easily racked up some overdraft fees with my banking institution. In addition the catering staff had to be flagged down because they were not near by the ballroom when we needed the food that we paid a significant amount of money for to be replenished. Overall the taste of the food was great. The fried chicken (legs and wings) were the tiniest pieces of chicken I’ve ever seen. The seasonal peach cobbler was also questionable. Apparently event staff and front desk staff do not communicate well with each other because we had the ballroom until 11pm each night but on our final night front staff tried to kick us out. I have no complaints about the comfort or cleanliness of my room or the hotel aesthetic overall. I do know that I bought over 75 guest to this hotel over the weekend and I am sure after folks begin checking their card/bank statements there will be some backlash and outrage. My final thoughts: Beware of the outrageous holds/charges to your account and if using onsite catering staff just might not anticipate needs.
