Hotel Terbaik dengan Gimnasium di Chartres

Chambre agréable et très propre. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Parking payant à proximité mais dépose minutes juste devant l'établissement (20 mns max). Le petit déjeuner est varié (salade de fruits frais, du salé et du sucré pour tous les goûts (dommage pour le jus d orange industriel). L'acceuil est au top. Mention spéciale pour la personne à la réception le 14 août en fin d'après-midi (très bons conseils) et toutes les femmes de chambre pendant nos 2 petits jours à Chartres. Vous êtes des vraies professionnelles agréables et bienveillantes.

The hotel generally well located in the center next to the train station. That is convenient in order to walk to nearby attractions, but the hotel has no car parking so that guests are being directed to public overnight parking in the city center, which is anything but inexpensive. The hotel as such is perfectly acceptable with renovated rooms. We had a junior suite for two adults and one daughter, but when we arrived in the evening we first had to find someone to arrange for a bed for our daughter as the room was set up only for two. Walls are rather thin here so you have little insulation and can hear others well in neighboring rooms. That was not a problem for us as the hotel wasn't full and we stayed there for just one night, but perhaps is less ideal if you stay longer. There is typically only one staff member on duty, so service is not the greatest. We asked for directions to a nearby restaurant but the attendant didn't even know the place that was recommended throughout in all relevant directories, on Tripadvisor, etc. Breakfast is fully self-service, including as to coffee with very basic prefabricated products, nothing special. What completely marred our experience is the fact that we had reserved and pre-paid our junior suite with breakfast included, yet at checkout were charged again separately for breakfast. That is perhaps a mistake that can happen, but was is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE is the fact that the hotel when dark when we contacted them subsequently after having left and realized the additional charge. Not a single response to this date even after multiple messages/emails sent asking for correction of the mistake. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and not to be excused. Hence, we would recommend to stay away from this place and go elsewhere.

Really impressive Novotel with a great bar and restaurant. This was one night stopover after arriving in Paris from Australia. Wasn’t expecting much and the location didn’t appeal but once closer and inside it was a standout quality Novotel. Would recommend if wanting a night outside of Paris before and after travelling.
