Booked a weekend at Cowley to propose to my partner and couldn't have asked for more! The location, food and spa were incredible and the staff made it extra special! Couldn't have asked for more. Well worth exploring the grounds and seeing the gardens and water features.

Wow. We came to Cowley for our mini moon and the only fault is we didn’t have long enough! Working in a boutique hotel & spa myself I struggle to find anywhere where I can fully relax. However Cowley was just incredible, the spa was beautiful the staff were kind & attentive, particularly Rachel who went above and beyond, making our stay to be extra special, she was great! The food was amazing with big portions which you don’t always expect (the pork was fab!) Everything was just perfect & we still cannot stop talking about it now. Can’t wait to return! Thank you!

What a fabulous hotel. I went for an early morning swim indoors then outdoors and felt I was in the lap of luxury. I would highly recommend a visit. The grounds are beautiful, I sat in the lounge for coffee and croissants overlooking the lake with the hills and fields in the distance. It set me up for the rest of the day.

Firstly the spa itself was beautiful and the grounds of the hotel are stunning. However, when we arrived all the covers were on the loungers and the outdoor pool had debris in it so we weren’t sure if the spa was actually open. Staff were mixed - one was lovely but others very disinterested. I did not get the impression they were understaffed but just did not want to speak to guests. We waited at the reception and staff had their backs turned to us with no acknowledgement. Visited various spas across the UK and the hospitality here was the worst I’ve received. No robes available when we arrived which seems really out of character for a luxury spa. Other spas give a tour of the facilities or an explanation if you haven’t visited before but did not receive this here. Spa package included a drink which we had to chase. Asked if there were non-alcoholic options available and was pointed to a menu on the table. This was a disappointing visit as we thought it would be the highlight of our weekend away in the Cotswolds. Such a shame as it could be so lovely! We left early as did not feel particularly welcome and do not feel the experience was worth what we paid.

Had a wonderful afternoon celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends. Lovely, beautiful place with beautiful views of the grounds. Cream tea was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. We did struggle a little with parking though.
