Chuanxing Yinli Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley)

The hotel was beautiful. Staff were kind and accommodating. They even offered to help book local excursions & events. The room was spacious and well appointed. Soothing color scheme and great amenities. Highlights included the breakfast—made to order soup with your choice of noodles or dumplings. Also a set of 6 small dishes with a wide range of flavors. In addition they have buffet style breakfast options—Chinese and western. There’s a serene outdoor sitting area with koi fish that simulates a small garden. Altogether a lovely experience. Would book again!

This hotel offers an excellent experience. Its location is ideal, within easy reach of Kuan Zhai Alley and close to subway stations. The room was spacious, clean, serviced daily, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities like eye masks, tea, coffee, and unlimited bottled water. A highlight was the common area on Level 1, which features several bookshelves stocked with books, a perfect quiet retreat for reading. My three-night stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it.

Chuanxing Yinli Hotel was the other gem we stayed at during our Chengdu trip — and we absolutely loved it! The hotel exudes a tranquil, zen-like atmosphere with beautiful, photo-worthy corners throughout. It features a small garden, koi pond, courtyard, in-house library, and a serene breakfast area, along with complimentary afternoon tea that made our stay even more relaxing. The hotel also has a cosy lounge area with a real fireplace — perfect for chilly evenings — and an outdoor BBQ pit where we enjoyed roasting sweet potatoes. Location-wise, it's ideal — just a short walk to Kuanzhai Alley, near plenty of local eateries, and conveniently right next to a 24-hour convenience store. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with amenities and smart room technology. A few minor suggestions: the bed could have been more comfortable, and a *humidifier* would be useful in the dry weather. There’s a laundry room with one washer and two dryers, but what’s really convenient is that if there's a queue, you can opt for staff-assisted laundry by simply filling out a form — a thoughtful touch. The staff were outstanding — friendly, responsive, and helpful. They assisted with Taobao parcel deliveries, and when they learned our booking didn’t include breakfast, they generously offered complimentary breakfast for our first two mornings, knowing our friend had stayed there previously. This hotel truly stands out for its ambience, service, and thoughtful details. Would definitely love to return — highly recommended for a peaceful and well-located stay in Chengdu!

Highly recommend this hotel if you want quiet, tranquil and zen environment. 1000% very instagrammable hotel. Very helpful staff, clean room, excellent service provided and overall we had a great experience. It was a great hotel. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Location is great. It’s close to the walking street with lots of touristy attractions. And it’s far enough to be quiet and peaceful at night. I also recommend walking alongside the river nearby. Room was spacious and clean. The only thing I didn’t like is that the floor is concrete and a little cold without slippers. There’s some great places to take pictures inside the hotel like the garden on first floor and a terrace on 2nd. Overall, it was fantastic value for the price and a great experience.
