It is my 4th stay in this hotel, it completely meets my expectations of a comfortable place to live. Close to metro station, good location. Comfortable way both to Tianfu Airport and to the city center. Rooms are big and clean, smell is good. Price is rather reasonable. Breakfast is delicious. Reception is quick and friendly. Free coffee in the ground floor during the whole day.

This isn't my first time staying here; I always choose this hotel for business trips. This time, I stayed for a whole week and they upgraded my room. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with everything, including a washing machine and refrigerator, plus laundry detergent. The cleaning staff was incredibly thoughtful. They noticed I'd only used the small toothpaste from the toothbrush package, so they specially left an extra tube of toothpaste for me. Such attentive service from the cleaning lady definitely deserves high praise!

Disappointing stay at this hotel. Service - lacklustre (front desk disinterested in anything). Asked for some things in my room to be fixed when I’m out for the day but it seemed nothing was done for the entirety of my few days’ trip. FYI I’ve never once heard them greet any guests entering, leaving hotel even when they’re not occupied. Location - only for those working or with business in the vicinity otherwise don’t encourage leisure travellers booking this hotel. Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more time doing your research. Goes without saying that it’s very far from most tourist attractions. Plus it’s not even within reasonable walking distance to any shopping malls or supermarkets for simple groceries or essentials shopping (there’s a McDonalds and some eateries dotted around the vicinity and pretty close to a metro station though). As the hotel abuts 2 roads and the cars somehow don’t drive into the hotel driveway, whenever you book Didi, be prepared to do a cat and mouse chase running around the perimeter of the hotel trying to hunt down exactly where the Didi is parked and waiting. During certain times of the day, one of those roads apparently switch from two to one-way lanes so you’ll have to wait for the traffic light, cross the road and board your Didi from the opposite side. Others - room doors automatically slam shut really really loudly so every time your neighbour opens and lets the door shut by itself, you’ll be woken up (whether late at night or early morning) by super loud bangs. Furnishings starting to show their fair share of wear and tear. Laundry - hotel only provides washing powder (have not seen that anywhere else). For those used to liquid washing detergent, you’ll have to get your own (see above comment on proximity to shopping malls etc). Positives: quiet neighbourhood, hotel decor is youthful and vibrant, don’t need to wait too long for lifts, clean rooms, food options. Reflection: I booked this hotel cos of the positive reviews but re-reading those reviews, my experience has been somewhat different and maybe the only thing I can relate to is cleanliness.

Excellent hotel! The rooms are spacious and spotless. There's a convenient, simple gym upstairs which is really handy. The staff are patient and thoughtful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

Facilities: A bit dated, reminiscent of student dorms. Environment: Located in the city center, so expect traffic jams when taking a taxi in the mornings and evenings. Service: Service is impeccable; you can always count on chain hotels for that.

I chose Citadines for my business trip to Chengdu this time. As a business apartment hotel, it offers excellent value for money. The facilities are comprehensive, the service is attentive, and the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is situated in the heart of the High-tech Zone, very close to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room is fully equipped with home appliances like a refrigerator, washing machine, and microwave, making it comfortable for extended stays. The bedding is soft and cozy, and the soundproofing is also quite good. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful; both check-in and check-out were very efficient. The 24-hour front desk is always available to help, promptly responding to needs like luggage storage and inquiries. The cleaning staff also does a meticulous job, keeping the room consistently clean and tidy, which is reassuring in its attention to detail.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. There's a delicious hotpot restaurant nearby. I was a bit worried the washing machine in the room would be noisy, but it was absolutely fine when I used it. They even provide laundry detergent, which is super convenient. The room has two bathrooms, so it's actually a bit big for just one person, lol.
