Ulasan Chengdu Qingcheng Youth Hostel Apartment (Chunxi Road IFS Branch)

Biliknya sangat baik, mudah untuk pergi ke bangunan IFS, terdapat banyak tempat makan berdekatan, tetapi bilik mandi terlalu buruk, tiada penyental bilik mandi atau sebarang pembersihan, tong sampah penuh sehingga melimpah sinki dan terdapat banyak serpihan rambut, kesan di bilik mandi kongsi lelaki Wanita itu sangat kotor, tuala terpakai dibuang ke pintu, bukan dibuang ke dalam tong sampah.

Akan tinggal lagi kerana lokasi yang baik. Bilik itu bersih. Tidak banyak kereta yang membunyikan hon pada waktu malam, tetapi terdapat banyak restoran di tingkat bawah dan bunyi bising berlarutan sehingga tengah malam. Banyak palam kuasa, tidak banyak yang tersedia.

I've traveled to 20 countries and this was the dirtiest hostel I've ever been to. The picture looks amazing, but overall it's very clean. Especially the bathroom was so disgusting that it was a culture shock. I've seen feces always on the inside of the toilet and even on the floor many times. cigarette butts are always piled up in the shower or bathroom compartment and trash is piled up on the common space table. The cleanliness part is partly because of the customer's unconceptual behavior, but it's dirty anyway. The trash bin in the room has been overflowing since the check-in time, but they didn't clean it up for several days. It was hard because of the smell of trash . The nice thing was that the guy who checked in was nice and the bedding was clean. I think any hostel in the world would be better than here.

It looks like a good hotel, but it's a horror, the dirty bathrooms both the first and last day, the old showers, I asked for the most expensive room and it was so small that almost the suitcase did not enter.

Good location. Clean room but a little bit stuffy bcoz there’s no window for air ventilation.

This hostel is a world class youth hostel in Chengdu city. The location is very good and nearby Chunxi road where the shopping malls and eateries shops are located. There are plentiful street food hawkers around this area. The lobby area is very big like the 5-star hotel. The room and bed are clean and comfortable. They have seat toilets, disposable bath towel and bathroom I love to use.

Good location, there are Lawson and Family mart around the hotel, convenience to find something to eat

I saw lots of good recommendations on this hostel, but it was very dirty and disgusting. The bed area was alright, however the bed underneath used my top bunk to hang her laundry. The bedlamp didn’t turn completely off, noisy. The bathroom were some of the worst I’ve been to

Stayed 4 nights in 2 person dorm Expectation/Reality: you have to manage your expectations when you pay about 40RMB a night for a place. Compared to the photos, they are generally consistent, other than the bathrooms. The air conditioner worked for the first 2 nights and broke the last 2 nights. Security: very secure, it’s on the 4th floor with 24/7 person at the desk, the room has a lock and there are good quality lockers in the bunks. Hygiene: this is where the cracks are. Hygiene is very low in the public places. The bathrooms are like a frat house and the garbage around the shared spaces might get cleaned once a day. In the morning there was a dirty cup on the dining room table and when I got back in the evening it was still there. The toilets get clogged and over flow with no one fixing it for a long time, the showers need to be bleached. The private bunk area I was in was perfectly fine and clean. Hospitality: the folks at the desk are very young, maybe early 20’s. I asked for a bowl to eat my cereal in the morning and the kid offered me a used plastic bowl and said I had to clean it myself, so I took a glass cup. When I asked to extend my stay, the kid was playing video games while talking to me and told me to do it myself online. There was one guy who was helpful, but it generally seems like the attendants are just too young to be very professional. Social Atmosphere: quite good, there’s usually plenty of folks lounging around and there is a lot of public places, so lots of opportunity to meet and chat with people. Overall: if you’re on a budget and can tolerate camping level hygiene in the showers and toilets, then this place is adequate. It’s very close to the main subway lines and there’s lots of activities and food options very close by. The public areas are social and it has everything a traveler really needs, certainly no frills. If the bathrooms were cleaned more frequently and the public areas cleaned more frequently this place would be excellent.

Surprisingly nice and cheap accommodation in the middle of Chengdu. Just 10 minutes to walk to Chanxi road with the panda shuttle bus or the subway to Chengdu East. Our double room was well located in the last corner of the hostel and we didn't hear much of the rest of the people. But other rooms might not be so well located. Take the elevator to level 4. There are stairs as well but it seems like they weren't cleaned since the building was erected. Friendly staff, nice experience :-) Beer is available. Convenience stores are around the corner.

So convenient to go everywhere and realy close to the metro. Staffs are nice. But Bad odor in the bathroom.

Good stuff

The stay was acceptable but it feels as if the concept is shared space hostel is there but is let down by the staff who don’t seem to care.
