I chose InterContinental for my business trip! The nice staff Giri Zheng. contacted and arranged the room in advance. The hotel is strategically located, just a few minutes' walk to the business district, Intime, and the Twin Towers, making it extremely convenient for travel. They even addressed me by name, "Mr. Mark," so I will definitely choose this place again next time

Always my first choice. The rooms are spacious, the service is very welcoming, breakfast is excellent, and the surrounding area is great too.

As a long-established luxury hotel in Chengdu, it has truly stood the test of time, offering a warmth and meticulousness in its service that is hard to find in other hotels of similar caliber. A special shout-out to the Duty Manager, Manager Fan, for proactively reaching out and efficiently handling my check-in. The solution provided perfectly exemplified the hotel's guest-first philosophy, which was truly heartwarming. 🧸Right from the start of my stay, Anna from Guest Relations had already arranged my room in advance, demonstrating their consistent thoughtfulness, even during the busy exhibition season. The Executive Lounge offers excellent food and beverages, coupled with efficient and professional service, making it an ideal venue for business discussions. ☯️This stay also offered the delightful experience of the hotel's morning Tai Chi session. Guests can rejuvenate their mind and body with a professional Tai Chi master, allowing them to truly immerse themselves in traditional Chinese culture. 🍃The Green Vine Tea Lounge boasts an elegant ambiance, an exquisite rendition of a traditional Western Sichuan grand estate nestled amidst lush greenery. It masterfully brings Chengdu's authentic teahouse culture right into the hotel lobby. Particularly impressive was the live performance by a female ensemble, playing popular music with a traditional Chinese flair during my tea break. This clearly demonstrates the hotel's significant dedication to cultural enrichment, making it well worth guests' time to truly appreciate. Overall, whether you're looking to immerse yourself in Chengdu's culture or traveling for business, this hotel is absolutely worth a dedicated visit. It certainly won't disappoint.

The hotel was quite bustling during the World Games. Butler Maggie Zhang arranged a lovely room for us, and we were very pleased with our stay.

The service was exceptional; our host was incredibly warm and attentive. They were considerate enough to proactively offer a late check-out, anticipating we might be short on time. The breakfast spread was plentiful, served in a beautiful setting, making for a truly enjoyable meal. Its convenient location, just a stone's throw from Global Center and SKP, and under a 30-minute drive from Shuangliu Airport, makes it an excellent base for exploring the city.

Though my three-day stay was short, the experience at InterContinental Global Center Chengdu far exceeded my expectations. While comfortable facilities are a given, it's a concierge like Maggie Zhang who truly makes the hotel a 'home away from home' – she anticipates needs with keen observation, resolves issues with flexible execution, and creates memorable moments with genuine care. On the very first day, she helped me switch to a much cooler room, allowing me to sleep wonderfully that night! She meticulously and thoughtfully arranged small details like laundry collection and room cleaning. My son absolutely adored the panda plush toy she gave him! For families planning a trip to Chengdu, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel: not only for the vibrant atmosphere of the 'Land of Abundance,' but also because at this hotel, someone is always quietly going the extra mile for you.

Extremely satisfied! A heads-up to everyone: there are two InterContinental hotels in the vicinity – the Global Center InterContinental and the Century City InterContinental. Make sure you don't confuse them! The Global Center InterContinental is quite crowded, and its lobby is set far back. Plus, the staff member at the entrance was extremely rude and even argued with us. In contrast, the Century City InterContinental, which I chose, was excellent in every aspect. The front desk even upgraded my room type. Breakfast was served in a charming small garden, which had a wonderful ambiance. The hotel also uses Byredo, my favorite Swedish brand of toiletries. While the hotel might be a bit older, it truly excels in its thoughtful details. My entire family was very satisfied.

Upgraded to a view room, and the scenery was unbeatable. It's truly a beyond five-star hotel!

Our stay was very comfortable. The location is excellent, making it convenient for both sightseeing and finding places to eat. The room was spotlessly clean, and I slept incredibly well. The soundproofing was also good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were well-equipped, and they even provided a selection of pillow types. Anna from the staff was incredibly helpful and very responsive to any requests. Given my late check-in, they thoughtfully extended my check-out time. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and tasted good. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

I had originally intended to book the InterContinental Global Center, but due to a mix-up, I accidentally booked the InterContinental Century City instead. Fortunately, a wonderful butler, Maggie Zhang, contacted me in advance and even offered complimentary breakfast, so I decided to go ahead with the stay. Maggie also arranged a fantastic room for me. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find a complimentary fruit platter – such a thoughtful touch! The next day, she even arranged a late check-out for me, encouraging me to get some extra rest. That was incredibly kind of her!

Even before arriving at the hotel, Butler Maggie Zhang contacted me in advance. Although I usually skip breakfast, she warmly offered it to me anyway, just in case – how incredibly thoughtful! Our two rooms were also perfectly arranged side-by-side. This entire experience was absolutely fantastic!
