Ulasan Chengdu Yuanheyuan Buddha Zen Hotel

When we arrived, the concierge spoke good English and understood the rules around 15 day visa free stays in China (I've had trouble with other hotels on this trip wanting to see my mother's visa when she doesn't have one). The hotel is extremely beautiful with ornate fittings and Chengdu embroideries. Our room had a lovely balcony that overlooked the quaint street below. The location is in the middle of a shopping district that is expensive but contains beautiful woodwork, embroideries and jewellery for sale. There are a couple of theatres in the area showing Sichuan face change opera which was the highlight of our stay. The hotel will arrange for your laundry to be washed, but even without dry cleaning, it was expensive. The breakfast service was great.

Nice location in Chengdu, pretty building. Breakfast is a bit boring and the walls are not so thick so I could hear the TV of the neighbours during the night..

The place was nice but no laundry, also the breakfast could be better but our stay was very pleasant.

The staffs are very friendly, approachable and all in all really welcoming. Especially 小龍, she was really helpful thoughout and assisted us right until we got on our ride after checking out！ Their service is good, our stay there was comfortable and nice！ The metro exit for the hotel is only stairs, which was kinda tiring but the close distance makes up for it.

The Buddha hotel has amazing scenery and ambiance. I would recommend this for someone who enjoys the Buddhist aesthetics and being close to centre of the city. The issues we had were with the dripping aircon on our bed, wet floors which were very dangerous and the oily food for the breakfast.

Very good customer service, Miss Xiao Yu help us a lot on the train navigations and planning places of interest, Will definitely return again if back to Chengdu

Booked Yuanheyuan as we liked the room depicted in the pictures. We were delighted when we checked in. Spacious for the price we paid. It looks a bit worn but that adds to the charm of the place. Oriental furnishings and surroundings. Room had everything we needed for the stay.

Had a very nice stay in Buddhazen Hotel. I am from Singapore and the deisgn of this hotel definitely hits the right spot if you are looking for something that is traditional and oriental. My wife had a great time taking photos everywhere due to the beautiful architecture. One more plus point for this hotel is that it is very near to all sorts of amenities and is really convenient to have a bustling night market and shops located right underneath. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right at the city center so it’s very convenient to visit the tourist spots by subway. But it’s hard to find the hotel as taxis cannot get inside.

Exquisite hotel, reception with a sulking face attended to us. Toilet flushing system was faulty, need to flush multiple times and sometimes water just cut off and have to wait a long period before water fill the tank.

We loved this charming hotel in its equally charming location, but what made our stay exceptional was the service provided by Shu Juan (Iris). She went way above and beyond applying her knowledge, creativity and resourcefulness to our travel challenges and needs to ensure our experience in Chengdu was exceptional. This hotel is lucky to have such an outstanding employee.

All staff are friendly ,especially Ms LONG very recommended for all travellers who need peacefull

It is very well located near the temple. I have stayed here three times when coming to Chengdu. It is convenient to main areas and not far from other places.
