This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are very nice and smell good. The staff are very friendly and proactive. The buffet is pretty good. It is attached to a high-end shopping centre. It is around 20mins to Chengdu East train station (to go to Huanglong / Jiuzhaigou), 45mins from the airport, and 40mins to the panda research centre. The only slightly annoying thing is that there are no lifts at the ground floor to go straight to your room. You have to go to one of the top 4 floors, switch lifts then go down to your room. Not a big deal though.

The location and surroundings are superb, and the hotel itself is of a very high standard. The service is warm and attentive. Rooms are spacious, offer great views, and are fully equipped, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Breakfast provides a good variety with all the essentials, and the food is delicious. The extended weekend breakfast until 11 AM is a thoughtful touch. Overall, a very satisfying stay – highly recommended!

Great location, near a big park. Check-in is at 50/F, amazing! Rooms are all on high floors, with fantastic views. Breakfast offers a diverse selection of both Western and Asian cuisine. Friendly and professional staff, and they're very helpful. I've got a room with a stunning city view. Indoor Warm water swimming pool located at high floor. Curtain and electronically controlled. Coffee machine in the room with several capsules. Overall, the stay was great. Definitely will come back again.

A flawless experience! Waldorf Astoria Chengdu: Every Detail and View, Absolutely Exceptional. My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu completely surpassed my expectations; it truly deserves a five-star rating! What impressed us most was the room's layout – a thoughtful design with a logical flow and a premium feel. The in-room tea/coffee cabinet in the bedroom was a particular highlight, ensuring tidy storage while allowing for convenient beverage preparation at any time. This attention to detail was truly considerate. From our window, we had panoramic views of the Twin Towers. Watching the bustling city by day and the dazzling lights by night made for a truly stunning visual experience. The core accommodation experience was equally impeccable: the bedding was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to shed all fatigue the moment we lay down and enjoy a perfect night's sleep until morning. The shower facilities, too, were 'unparalleled,' with precise water pressure and temperature control. Washing away the day's travel fatigue felt incredibly therapeutic. From the amenities to the overall guest experience, there was absolutely nothing to fault. I will undoubtedly choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

One of Chengdu's premier hotels. The ambiance and service are faultless, and it offers prime views of the Chengdu Twin Towers. The 50th-floor sky lobby is truly breathtaking. Overall, it justifies the price. However, the soundproofing was a bit lacking, which was somewhat unexpected. Also, the signage in the underground parking garage could be improved.

The rooms were very stylish and spacious. The Chinese restaurant on the 49th floor, in particular, offered stunning views of the Twin Towers every evening, and the breakfast on the 50th floor also featured equally beautiful scenery. The hotel staff were very attentive; they were always quick to replenish anything missing from the room. My absolute favorite was the park directly opposite the hotel. It boasts a jogging track that's two kilometers per loop, and going for two laps there every morning was pure bliss!

Having had a rather rough service experience at the InterContinental the day before, my two-day stay at the Waldorf Astoria was a welcome change and a very pleasant experience. The view of the Twin Towers was impressive, especially stunning at night. The room itself was remarkably well-maintained, not showing its nearly 10 years of age at all. The front desk is conveniently located on the 50th floor. A special shout-out to Ethan for his excellent service; he was incredibly quick and helpful in responding to all our requests. Breakfast was also fantastic, offering both a buffet and à la carte selections – though I couldn't quite bring myself to have a steak first thing in the morning!

Having spent five days in Chengdu, I can confidently say this was our favorite hotel of the trip. The butler contacted us in advance to understand our preferences, and everything was arranged perfectly. We booked a Twin Towers view twin room, and what we appreciated most was that each twin bed measured 1.5m, ensuring our family of three could all get a comfortable night's sleep. The hotel's design and style were impeccable, and the breakfast was the most abundant and varied among the four hotels I stayed at. It will certainly be our first choice for future visits to Chengdu.

We were extremely pleased with our hotel stay. The butler proactively reached out to us beforehand to inquire about our needs, and knowing we had a child with us, they thoughtfully prepared kid-friendly amenities in advance. They went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had. The bathroom featured separate wet and dry areas, and the surrounding amenities were excellent. The breakfast selection was extensive, offering a great mix of Chinese and Western options. Overall, every aspect of our stay was meticulously handled!

This hotel is quite new in a quiet area near business district and a park. About 10 minutes walk to metro and 30 minutes train ride to central or in tourist attractions. You can see the beautiful LED light show from the twin towers at night. They have a few different style restaurants Asian and western. D99 on 49th floor is a great restaurant provides excellent breakfast and different styles of meals of your choice. Staff are very friendly and provide great service. Amenities are 5 stars standard but the hair dryer is very heavy and old. If they can change to Dyson hair dryer will be much better. You can take a walk or exercise in the park early morning. The reflection of the lake is beautiful for photos. The whole stay is very pleasant.

Location top in front of the towers. Beautiful room. For a 5* I expect more staff speaking English. At breakfast as well we had to ask for napkins cause amour table was set up without.

Great hotel. Lovely ambience! My stay was totally worth every penny. I will be visiting again. Till then, keep up the good work.

Waldorf Astoria Chengdu is a wonderful hotel located away from the city’s noise yet close to major attractions. The room was spacious and elegant, with an independent walk-in closet and a lovely lake view. We appreciated the welcome fruit and the peaceful environment, which allowed for great sleep. The breakfast was excellent — they served freshly made meat buns and Chengdu-style dandan noodles, along with sirloin steak. There’s also a mall right next to the hotel, perfect for dining or shopping without going far. A truly comfortable and refined stay — highly recommended.

Hotel was very kids friendly and even gave us toys to entertaint our 1 year old baby. Location was near IFC mall.
