It is good and convinience location. I went from Chengdu Tianfu airport by taxi which cost 207 rmb. But if use metro it will be much cheaper. This is my second time stay on this hotel. It is only a minute walk to street market which you can enjoy easy people life.

酒店很新很乾凈，設施很新很齊全；剛開始以為沒有洗衣機，但很快發現有自助洗衣機烘乾機，操作很方便；
樓下小店也多，位置算是靠高架但是睡覺不會吵，休息很好；
步行幾分鐘可以到地鐵站，十幾分鍾可以到武侯祠和錦裏，沿路有很多飯店餐館，晚上可以去轉轉；
服務相當到位，前台小姐姐笑眯眯的特別可愛，可以加雞腿；微信客服也很棒，不小心把油漬弄到床單上，客服態度也很好（錯誤行為不要學我🙏🏻）。總體很棒，繼續保持✌[ThumbsUp]

看網上説的是新開的一家店，價格也不貴，剛好過年家裡住不下過來試了一下，房間設施設備都是新的，熱水供應很快，衞生做的還是蠻好的，這個窗户採光非常好，一出太陽整個房間被陽光包圍，但是窗户應該是舊的沒有換，但是隔音效果非常好，是雙層的，晚上睡覺非常安靜，樓層也比較高，在這個附近，這個價位還是很值。前台服務員也很熱情，任何事情都有在為顧客考慮，點贊👍

Top two floors of an old building in Hongpailou district in south west Chengdu. Refurbished just months before. Stayed two nights in June. Room large, quiet and comfortable. Check-in efficient. No English spoken. Ensuite had some toiletries. Room came with slippers and water. TV all Chinese apart from CCTV international. Room wifi worked well. There was a room with some fitness machines, but no-one used during our stay. Food not an option in this hotel. Plenty of eating places nearby. A Carrefour nearby which unfortunately is closing. #1 bus north for 6 stops brings you to Wuhou temple, Jinli street and the ******* area. Hongpailou metro station 500m away. Lots of delivery riders free to roam the floor anytime, so keep this in mind. We probably won't be back to this place

DDelboyThis was a first class experience at a first class hotel. Right from the start I was made to feel at home and was allowed to check in much earlier than 2pm which was ideal as I could freshen up before going to my future work place. In addition, complimentary breakfast was added to my reservation which again was a big bonus and the choices were fantastic. The grounds around the hotel are very nice to take a walk and the hotel is very near to many restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and great value for money and even having a bathtub was nice to use at the end of the day. This is a great place for anybody to stay and is family friendly which is convenient to go and see the pandas. All the staff were fantastic but I must mention Paul who really went that extra mile to make stay comfortable and even exchanged his Wechat in case I needed any help. His professional approach and English speaking ability is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely be returning soon.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

EEmmanuelThe location is perfect. Just a short walk in between 2 metro stations that allow you to connect into 2 Metro Lines. The service is great. Real 5 Star Service especially the Butler service that assist us easily via WeChat. The breakfast buffet is amazing with wide selection of local and western breakfast choice. Staffs are all great and friendly. The room size is huge with a very nice view over the city. Although the hotel is a bit old but we can see that the hotel is well maintained and the amenities they provide is of high quality. One of us got sick with an upset stomach and the Buttler assisted us so nicely and even provided us a meal with room service for the upset stomach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chengdu.

WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

LLucyThe hotel has a centralised a/c system for all room, ie you cant adjust the temperature in the room. The switch in the room doesnt work at all. Ventilation system was bad as well. It was stuffy and warm when we stayed there the first night. All the reception could do was to just provide a fan and ask us to open the window which is then loud since its a very centralised location. I immediately cancelled the remaining nights because i felt like we were staying in a hostel room. This is something what the hotel should mention at the first place during check-in but nothing was mentioned even though they told us at the end, where we wanted a partial refund of the1st night, that a lot of guests had complaint about the same issue! The hotel we stayed afterwards had the same centralised a/c system but they informed us upfront during check-in and the ventilation was functioning well in room - ie no stuffy air even though theres no a/c.
Apart from the a/c problem, the hotel lift was terrible too as it serves the whole building with 23 floors, ie you have to wait quite a while for you to go up and down — which wasted a lot of time. No extra security barrier was made meaning everyone could access the hotel room floors without a card. Only at night times the main door to the rooms was shut and could only be opened by card. Hotel in general is newly refurbished but it has this cheap taste in interior and furnitures picked, like the instagramable room-wanna be. In the room they have a container containing condoms, lubs and sex toys which gives an impression that the hotel is mostly for “happy times” , more couple suitable staycation kind. Breakfast selection was average.
Rooms were clean and location was great. Not advisable to travellers with elderly accompanies since you always need to walk a long stairs to cross the bridge to Chunxi Road. Duty manager Ms Wu was very professional in dealing issues but the other staffs need further training.
All and all, i wouldnt recommend this hotel and you could get better offers with the same price.

Sangat mudah untuk berjalan kaki dari Jalan Chunxi Taikoo Li untuk makan, minum dan bermain berdekatan; keburukannya ialah kalis bunyi dan tidak ada peti sejuk di dalam bilik, tetapi ini sebenarnya bukan masalah besar. Banyak hotel ada, apatah lagi ini adalah hostel remaja. Rakan dengan anggaran kurang dari 100 yuan boleh mempertimbangkan untuk melancong sendirian. Selain itu, bar kecil di bahagian atas bangunan bagus untuk minum dan berbual, tetapi terdapat lebih banyak tumbuh-tumbuhan dan anda harus memperhatikan nyamuk atau memakai seluar panjang. . Saya akan mempertimbangkan untuk tinggal di sini ketika saya pergi ke Chengdu pada masa akan datang.

RRacheljbA mixed experience - the staff were very friendly and the hostel had lots of amenities and events. Perfect for meeting other travellers and getting comfortable in a new city.
However, I booked to stay in a female-only room but there were men staying in the room for the majority of the stay. I was not notified of this, and when I asked the staff why they said it was because the other rooms were full. Not great.
The room also did not feel clean, with someone else's stuff left in my locker and dust and dirt on the walls.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
