出差離西門子最近的一家酒店，前台人員服務不錯，有一定專業素質，特別表揚所有男生前台（我住了一個多禮拜，應該是見到了所有前台服務人員了）房間很大，配套較完善，但不是中央空調。廁所很大但很舊，隔音還可以。周邊有商店和不太好吃的小飯館。酒店裡還有自助廚房，健身房，每層都有洗衣間。哪怕我每天續住一次，可迎賓水果等物品衹有第一天給提供。很感謝保潔阿姨，每天都幫我把房間打掃乾乾淨淨的，還幫我疊衣服。早餐味道一般，種類不算多，但在這個價位裏的酒店也算種類較全了。

Tten.ten.2020Coming here again in the spring, this inn remains the highlight of my trip.
Imagine having had a rough trip: the cold, intense population density, and tough business meetings. Weary, you get off a late flight with sore legs. You trudge over to the inn, turning the final corner into its warm lights, past the usual check-in time. You have no idea how things could go; some hotel receptions can be rather unpleasant. Your first brush with Xishu is its simple double glass doors, and the sight of a giant panda statue. You totter past it gingerly, unsure if anyone is awake at such a late hour.
Ah.
But someone is.
A youthful girl smiles gently at you over the counter, ”Hello. Check in?”
You smile awkwardly, unsure, ”Yes, I know it's late...”
”No,” She responds softly, ”It's ok. Could I get your passport?”
There wasn't a fuss. She smiles and gets to work quietly, clicking away. You set your luggage down and look around. Behind you, you notice the little courtyard, a cultural icon of traditional chinese architecture. A small fountain sputters, fairy lights are strung above for the spring festival, casting a surreal ambience over everything. Wind chimes jingle faintly. You draw a breath at it all. Small tables and chairs are laid out, welcoming you.
”Your room key,” You turn around to see the youthful girl at the counter smiling gently with a keycard. She briefs you in the same calming tone; wifi, breakfast, washing machines, and even a map of attractions all planned out.
You thank her, reminded of your travel fatigue, and head on up. Your footsteps are dampened by carpet, going in hallways of soothing chinese wooden interior designs. The inn is quiet at this hour, unlike the large hotels that have kids or travel groups. You tap your keycard to get in your room... And a small welcome basket awaits you. Apples and oranges, sweets, tiny little spicy sichuan snacks. The aesthetic of the room remains faithful to the inn, throwing you back down the memory lane... to Japanese ryokans, to Bali's traditional guest villas, or to vacation cottages in Europe.
But something is a little different.
Instead of stripping technology and modern convenience, this inn has woven it into its design. Air conditioning has been set for you. Smart toilet seats detect your presence and keep itself clean. Shower buttons are easy to understand, with a single easily controllable hot water lever. Even the mirror at the bathroom sink detects your presence and lights up, with a heating coil that prevents it from fogging on mornings.
You wash up.
Sleep.
The next day, you wake for breakfast, barely after the sun had broken the steel gray of dawn, now you witness the inn's courtyard in the day. Nobody is seated outside yet in such low temperatures, but you take a moment to look around and just soak in the ambience.
Uninterrupted.
When you finally turn towards reception, you notice a pair youthful girls at the counter. Both quietly smiling and unassuming. Calming, instead of the forced professionalism at other hotels.
There's something real here. A sincerity. A genuine kindness that permeates, perhaps from proximity to the monastery? Perhaps the unique historic district? Perhaps the owner and managers made it this way.
The girls check your breakfast options again, in case you might have changed your mind. You totter into the resturant, barely awake, but a fresh cup of nespresso hits you quickly, a familiar aroma from home in a land 12,000km away from home.
And then fruits.
Milk.
Toast bread.
Butter!
Sichuan noodles in the morning.
Exotic dumplings.
Eggs sunny side up.
By the time breakfast is done, you know you will be returning here again.
And again.
I have.
I've made friends with the hotel staff.
I hope you will too.
And if you love the people and place as much as I do, I hope you, too, will give it your best shot.

PPengguna TetamuLokasinya agak bagus. Stesen kereta api bawah tanah Tonghuimen terletak betul-betul di seberang jalan dan Kuanzhai juga berada dalam jarak berjalan kaki. Jenis bilik dalam promosi Ctrip sebelum ini agak besar, dan ia agak sunyi menghadap kejiranan lama. Perkhidmatan hotel tidak profesional, tetapi sikap perkhidmatan masih bersemangat. Terdapat episod kecil di mana saya ingin melanjutkan penginapan selama dua malam kerana perubahan dalam jadual perjalanan saya, tetapi saya diberitahu bahawa kupon Ctrip tidak boleh ditebus tetapi hotel masih mempunyai bilik yang ditempah. Kemudian saya diberikan dua harga yang tinggi, yang kelihatan seperti saya menaikkan harga di luar tangan. Sebenarnya, perkara biasa dan boleh difahami bahawa mereka mengatakan pada saat-saat akhir bahawa platform sambungan tidak boleh ditebus, tetapi siapa yang akan melanjutkan penginapan mereka pada harga hampir dua kali ganda, bukan? Minum petang yang disediakan agak lazat, tetapi sarapan paginya hanya begitu-begitu sahaja, ala-ala Cina. Kerana ia baru diubahsuai, terdapat bau yang kuat apabila kami memasuki bilik pada waktu malam. Pada pagi ketiga penginapan kami, kami mendapati banyak serangga terbang kecil di dalam tandas. Saya tidak tahu sama ada ia adalah masalah dengan paip pembetung. Kami tidak membawa apa-apa makanan ke dalam bilik, dan kulit saya alah.

LLionel Michael HarryWe had an excellent one-night stay at Mercure Chengdu Chunxi. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms Yuki at the front desk, who not only handled our check-in efficiently but also went the extra mile to recommend a good local restaurant for lunch and suggested nearby places of interest such as Kuan Zhai Alley. She also helped us understand the travel distance to Tianfu International Airport, which was very helpful for planning our departure.
As we were heading for a morning visit to the Panda Base the next day, we were pleasantly offered a late check-out, which made our schedule much more comfortable.
The breakfast at the 30th floor was a highlight: delicious with a good spread and a fantastic view.
The hotel’s location is also very convenient, especially with easy access to Chengdu East Railway Station.
Overall, a short but truly enjoyable stay with great service, convenient amenities, and excellent hospitality. Value for money and highly recommended.

Though the property itself has no lift but the lady boss helped to carry my big luggage to the upper floor, I felt so thankful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with good amenities. The lady boss was very nice and kind, she gave us all the info of all attractions and where to find good local food in Dujiangyan. We enjoyed our stay there very much

PPengguna Tetamu精心挑選了一家適合一家老小的酒店過母親節，結果居然完全高於預期，收穫了驚喜連連！管家Mia提前聯繫詢問房間需求和套餐項目預約，就嘗試着問了一下能不能升級小黃鴨親子套房，結果居然可以！這個房號886的院子有草坪可以讓娃摘野花吹蒲公英，有秋千可以晚上坐在上面看星星，有帳篷可以躲貓貓，有泡池和小黃鴨可以耍完温泉水馬上收拾，有小黃鴨主題的抱枕和小童用品，甚至嬰兒床和床尾凳都完美的拼接出安全的睡覺區域，治好家長強迫症。之前擔心泡池私密度不夠還怕曬，這間房不但有簾子還有可轉動的陽傘，讓小朋友在大中午泡到不想走，甚至跟酒店申請了一下居然延時到三點退房！酒店還有沙子、專門的小童遊樂區和看得出認真設計的親子活動，擺渡車隨叫隨停每個工作人員都會熱情的打招呼。這兩天隔壁子有鐵人三項比賽早上快遞沒送到酒店，工作人員甚至去了隔壁驛站幫取快遞！另外套餐內含的小火鍋菜品很新鮮，免費的水吧有吃有喝有奶有酒，公區温泉可選很多，沙療鹽療雖然長輩不能用但是驅寒效果很明顯，旅拍小姐姐技術過關399可獲得9張精修，30元半小時可以租蝸牛車在酒店裡追蝴蝶，至於歡唱2小時……根本來不及歡唱了。總之有機會會二刷的温泉酒店，適合一家老小度假躺平。

TtravelingtangerineI booked this hotel to compare with temple house and I would definitely recommend temple house over diaoyutai. Despite the no smoking sign there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke in the room. The room setup doesn't make much sense with the walk in closet at the opposite end of the bed and bathroom. The bed is quite comfy so that's a plus. A lot of the channels on the tv didn't work which was weird because they worked at all the other hotels I stayed at in Chengdu. The original room they gave me was on a higher floor but looked right into the residential building next door so I wouldn't be able to open the curtains hence I requested a room change. The new one was better location wise but the windows were really dirty as if they'd never been wiped.
Location is good if you want to explore xuanzhai alley but beware there are A LOT of tourists. Soundproofing is good and you can get a good night's sleep despite the ruckus outside.

BBbee_Not sure why the hotel needs a different name when the lobby and reception is under its main hotel. Makes it confusing. Also it is quite a walk to what is actually the annex building. However, the location is very good. The staff are nice and helpful. I did find my room dusty and there’s a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. We aired the room, came back and the smell was still there throughout our stay. Found one of the towels had a stain as well…

We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road.
