Hotel berhampiran Aarti Chambers, Chennai

Good thing about it’s location if someone need to access the Chennai railway station. Hotel is clean and I got upgraded to bigger room . Swimming pool is small but very clean . Breakfast selections was very good . Hotel stuffs are very friendly. Only thing which I didn’t liked at all was the Dinner at their one of the restaurants by name some “ Kebab “ ( exact name can’t remember) . Food for vegetarian was approx INR 2200 + ( I got although 15% discount as hotel guest ) , but food was terrible to me , despite of giving immediate feedback, still no one understood my taste & preferences, I have also gave poor reviews on the spot to the restaurant ***ager … I would give 2/10 to that particular kebab restaurant but other than that would give 8.5/10 other things

In general the hotel experience was amazing. The spa was amazing but please do improve on the breakfast.

Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.

Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell. The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable. the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized *** like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe. inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV. room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking. the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited. the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink. the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant. wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all. basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less. would i visit again? unlikely.

It’s my mistake on review of *********** I had book such a hotel first on arrival the hotel had taken card payment actually *********** had given to pay at checkout secondly for early check in they charged 1000 extra thou full hotel was empty Then there is renovation work going on in hotel for which there is dust & paint smell in room I had come to chennai for my eye operation so my appointment was at morning 9 am so it was urgent After complaints to *********** the wear offering room in there other hotel which is of more low categories & far from the hospital & *********** also ofer other hotel of low categorie & higher rate Then it’s not possible for me to change hotel as I was busy in hospital whole day then in the night at 10 when I come my room & bed were dusty the hotel staff was not ready to com on asking for towels 3 to 4 time hotel says the don’t have extra towel the cups were dirty there were cockroaches in the rum the bed make noes so I decided to change the hotel at 11 in night But unfortunately not the hotel nor *********** is refunding the amount Been the hospital problem I had paid again with request to all not to use booking review and not to book this hotel please

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to have a club feel and went down to the club. They could have played tamil songs, its India and your guests are Indians, playing on and off English songs are fine but Tamil songs would really been better

I had the most wonderful experience at Taj Connemara. Right from check in where my the receptionist upgraded me, to my encounter with Gracy Varghese, who noticed my tired and worn out state and sent me foot bath to my room. (I was so touched I could cry) she was god sent. Cherry on the cake was my dinner at Rain tree. Venky and Arpita ensured I try a bit of everything and not once did they make me feel that I was dining alone on a work trip, Chef Vinod cooked up delicious delicacies and the payasam was out of the world. I am so glad I stayed here, fallen in love with Chennai thanks to the courteous staff of Taj Connemara. Will definitely visit again and come back with family. Highly recommend! ♥️

We have always enjoyed staying at Taj Coro***del. All the staff have made us feel at home with their exceptional service. The executive rooms and luxury rooms are extremely comfortable. The entire butler team (Bala, Saravanan and Napolean who made sure they went the extra mile at the lounge. The entire Jiva Spa team who made sure we were well rested and relaxed. The entire restaurant and kitchen at Southern Spice team who enticed us with their superb food. The entire Front Office team who made our check-in and check-out seamless. The entire Door*** and Concierge team who helped us with our endless shopping bags. The entire Housekeeping team who did something small every day to put a smile on our faces when we returned back to the room. The entire In-Room Dining team who accommodated our late night food and coffee orders. There is no doubt that the location is good if not excellent. The service is also good. Room is clean. There are some other points also to be considered which is not part of the service ***agement, but flaws in the design of the room. The wardrobe is opposite to wash basin, which in a sense is uncomfortable. There are no shelves to keep the luggage. The luggage space is there near the TV but when you open the suitcase it hits the glass table above. There is no space to hang the bath towel for drying other than the bathing door handle, which is also small. These are not possible to change immediately, that said from service and cleanliness and location perspective, this is an good place to stay.

Best place to explore to Chennai and relax with family :) good service at the breakfast buffet (including Mickey Mouse dosa for kids) , swimming pool and gym! Special mention to Karthick , personal trainer at the gym to help u excel at your fitness goals ! I stayed for 7 nights ***** with guests I brought from UK who thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and the great location ! Hope they continue to provide great value 👍
