I had the most wonderful experience at Taj Connemara. Right from check in where my the receptionist upgraded me, to my encounter with Gracy Varghese, who noticed my tired and worn out state and sent me foot bath to my room. (I was so touched I could cry) she was god sent. Cherry on the cake was my dinner at Rain tree. Venky and Arpita ensured I try a bit of everything and not once did they make me feel that I was dining alone on a work trip, Chef Vinod cooked up delicious delicacies and the payasam was out of the world. I am so glad I stayed here, fallen in love with Chennai thanks to the courteous staff of Taj Connemara. Will definitely visit again and come back with family. Highly recommend! ♥️

We have always enjoyed staying at Taj Coro***del. All the staff have made us feel at home with their exceptional service. The executive rooms and luxury rooms are extremely comfortable. Special thanks to: Shailesh Giri (***ager - Butler Operations) & Jasmin Siddiqui (***ager - Guest Relationsq) who went above and beyond with their exceptional service to take care of our every need. The entire butler team (Bala, Saravanan and Napolean who made sure they went the extra mile at the lounge. The entire Jiva Spa team who made sure we were well rested and relaxed. The entire restaurant and kitchen at Southern Spice team who enticed us with their superb food. The entire Front Office team who made our check-in and check-out seamless. The entire Door*** and Concierge team who helped us with our endless shopping bags. The entire Housekeeping team who did something small every day to put a smile on our faces when we returned back to the room. The entire In-Room Dining team who accommodated our late night food and coffee orders. We also had the pleasure of being served by Trainees Santak and Shafira, whom we would like to take the opportunity to wish them all the best in their future endeavours and to reach greater heights in this industry. I had a night stay at the hotel during my visit to India. I was referred to this hotel by a friend, and found it to bel the right choice. I found the room clean, and greeted by friendly staff, just fit the bill. I will stay at the hotel on my next visit to the city

Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell. The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable. the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized *** like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe. inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV. room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking. the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited. the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink. the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant. wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all. basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less. would i visit again? unlikely.

Good thing about it’s location if someone need to access the Chennai railway station. Hotel is clean and I got upgraded to bigger room . Swimming pool is small but very clean . Breakfast selections was very good . Hotel stuffs are very friendly. Only thing which I didn’t liked at all was the Dinner at their one of the restaurants by name some “ Kebab “ ( exact name can’t remember) . Food for vegetarian was approx INR 2200 + ( I got although 15% discount as hotel guest ) , but food was terrible to me , despite of giving immediate feedback, still no one understood my taste & preferences, I have also gave poor reviews on the spot to the restaurant ***ager … I would give 2/10 to that particular kebab restaurant but other than that would give 8.5/10 other things

I been a customer over 8 years. They came a long way. Overall I had a pleasant experience. Happen to interact with Ms. Sunday at reservation who was helpful. One area needed improvement is when making call from USA no one pick up the calls. Food is very good. Value for the money. I would recommend

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everthing perfect. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and are always smiling. the rooms are large, very modern and perfectly clean, the roomboy David does an amzing job every day. The breakfast is huge and has a great choice and everything is fresh and well presented. The swimming pool area with its bar and resturant have a lovely atmoshere. and its great that you can swim up to midnight. Dip one of the waiters is friendly and very attentive. I will be back next year and will never ever stay anywhere else in Chennai

A wonderful cozy place to stay at Poonamallee High Road. Rooms are spacious, suites have good dressing area and cupboards for storing clothes. Clean, neat and courteous staff. I had a problem with Eifi and my room was changed immediately with an upgrade. No hassles. Food is good and there are 2noptions - Puran da dhaba and the hotel dining area too. All in all would definitely visit again.
