This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everthing perfect. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and are always smiling. the rooms are large, very modern and perfectly clean, the roomboy David does an amzing job every day. The breakfast is huge and has a great choice and everything is fresh and well presented. The swimming pool area with its bar and resturant have a lovely atmoshere. and its great that you can swim up to midnight. Dip one of the waiters is friendly and very attentive. I will be back next year and will never ever stay anywhere else in Chennai

Good thing about it’s location if someone need to access the Chennai railway station. Hotel is clean and I got upgraded to bigger room . Swimming pool is small but very clean . Breakfast selections was very good . Hotel stuffs are very friendly. Only thing which I didn’t liked at all was the Dinner at their one of the restaurants by name some “ Kebab “ ( exact name can’t remember) . Food for vegetarian was approx INR 2200 + ( I got although 15% discount as hotel guest ) , but food was terrible to me , despite of giving immediate feedback, still no one understood my taste & preferences, I have also gave poor reviews on the spot to the restaurant ***ager … I would give 2/10 to that particular kebab restaurant but other than that would give 8.5/10 other things

We have always enjoyed staying at Taj Coro***del. All the staff have made us feel at home with their exceptional service. The executive rooms and luxury rooms are extremely comfortable. Special thanks to: Shailesh Giri (***ager - Butler Operations) & Jasmin Siddiqui (***ager - Guest Relationsq) who went above and beyond with their exceptional service to take care of our every need. The entire butler team (Bala, Saravanan and Napolean who made sure they went the extra mile at the lounge. The entire Jiva Spa team who made sure we were well rested and relaxed. The entire restaurant and kitchen at Southern Spice team who enticed us with their superb food. The entire Front Office team who made our check-in and check-out seamless. The entire Door*** and Concierge team who helped us with our endless shopping bags. The entire Housekeeping team who did something small every day to put a smile on our faces when we returned back to the room. The entire In-Room Dining team who accommodated our late night food and coffee orders. I had the most wonderful experience at Taj Connemara. Right from check in where my the receptionist upgraded me, to my encounter with Gracy Varghese, who noticed my tired and worn out state and sent me foot bath to my room. (I was so touched I could cry) she was god sent. Cherry on the cake was my dinner at Rain tree. Venky and Arpita ensured I try a bit of everything and not once did they make me feel that I was dining alone on a work trip, Chef Vinod cooked up delicious delicacies and the payasam was out of the world. I am so glad I stayed here, fallen in love with Chennai thanks to the courteous staff of Taj Connemara. Will definitely visit again and come back with family. Highly recommend! ♥️

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to have a club feel and went down to the club. They could have played tamil songs, its India and your guests are Indians, playing on and off English songs are fine but Tamil songs would really been better

Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell. The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable. the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized *** like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe. inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV. room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking. the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited. the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink. the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant. wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all. basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less. would i visit again? unlikely.

A wonderful cozy place to stay at Poonamallee High Road. Rooms are spacious, suites have good dressing area and cupboards for storing clothes. Clean, neat and courteous staff. I had a problem with Eifi and my room was changed immediately with an upgrade. No hassles. Food is good and there are 2noptions - Puran da dhaba and the hotel dining area too. All in all would definitely visit again.

I have stay in room no 535. Very sad to said how this property is classified as 5 star. The reason there is no mini fridge in the room. I have meet Duty ***ager Mr.Rishi he told me upon request from guest then only they will place the fridge. This 1st time I come to know this kind of services. Secondly I went to bar at lobby to have glass of beer. A female staff was there and told me small glass price is RS 550. So I gave her RS 1000 and she gave me balance of RS 300. I was shocked. Then the bar ***ager came and told me she mistakenly mentioned. Then I meet Floor ***ager Mr. V***n and the explain everything. He feel sorry about it. So I definitely won’t recommend to anyone to stay here

Service was excellent Facilities was good. Food was superb especially the breakfast Unfortunately, the booking i made through Trip ,com was not relayed to the hotel. When i checked in to the hotel, there was no reservation of my record there. I had to contact a friend of mine who knew the ***ager there to resolve the issue. As a result, i have to wait 1.5 hours at the lobby. It is quite a bad experience. In future, i will contact the hotel directly rather than going through a third party.

The amenities in the room are relatively in good condition, as the property was recently renovated around 3 years ago. 6. The rooms are spacious and the AC unit in the room was a lifesaver from the summer heat. 7. There were ***y families staying at the hotel, which gave it a warm ambience and safe environment. Negatives: 1. My room never had a minibar nor a luggage stand, although it was supposed to be part of my booking for 12 nights. They also never changed the room as I was promised during checkin. 2. There’s a bar right next to the hotel, therefore I could not sleep on ***y nights during my stay (even with earplugs on) as there was so much noise from the bar. I was told that the noise would end around 11:30pm, but there were nights where it went on past 12:30am. There also happened to be a wedding reception happening at the rooftop level during my stay. It was so loud, my ceiling AND floor vibrated throughout the night. I had to sacrifice ***y nights of sleep and could not have proper rest. 3. Some of the staff need to be trained to serve guests better, as there was one lady by the name of Nisha at the Front Desk who never made eye contact with me throughout my 12 nights of stay at the hotel. She deliberately dropped her gaze when she saw me approaching towards the reception to get my card activated on most evenings. Very unprofessional behaviour which was totally uncalled for. 4. There was also another middle-aged *** at the reception who started treating me differently after I asked if I could book a massage to my room through Urban Company. It is very common to get body massage during tiring trips and his change in behaviour after I requested this was very unsettling and made me feel uncomfortable towards approaching him thereafter. Thankfully, there was a really good, hygienic and safe spa (Spa Blu) close to the hotel where I then headed for my treatment. 5. The service standard from housekeeping was inconsistent. I never had my black tea replenished during my stay there, and after a certain point, I gave up requesting for basic amenities which should have been there after each room service. The housekeeping staff could have been more attentive in vacuuming the room properly and clearing hair from the bathroom drain. On one of the days, I also had a duvet which was stained badly and thankfully replaced by the tim
