Visited for sn afternoon tea and twilight spa. The spa facilities were lovely, but the real highlight was afternoon tea, especially as two of us had the gluten free option. I had low expectations of afternoon tea as it is so full of gluten, so obviously lots of adjustments to be made.....but everything the sandwiches, cakes and scones were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here the night before the weekend over the Friday bank holiday for two nights. It was perfect and so remote. Idyllic ally it is a beautiful place and we had amazing weather. The room was deluxe and services throughout the hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and we were demanding. This hotel would be a perfect place to get away too and close to Bicester Village.

The room was small and cozy and the staff were very welcoming.

As previously mentioned the expiry of the lease means the tenant is no longer on site, he turned up promptly when we phoned though. Just us and a painter in the building - room was delightful, clean and comfortable. SO needs a window blind though ; I was awake at 4.40 watching an amazing sunrise over pretty Deddington (think I may have preferred an extra three hours sleep)!

Lovely staff, nice room and great value for money. Good location for visiting Bicester and using the park and ride to Oxford. Food was good but the menu was a bit odd - chorizo featured in so many dishes - however the chef didn't have a problem cooking dishes without it.

We stayed with friends for two nights. We ate dinner at The Hotel the first night. This review has to take into account how good the price was that we paid. The room was old like, the core building, but it was not noisy as some have written. The loo shuddered as it refilled. But the bed was comfortable and it was warm. There are lots of positives to balance the old room. Breakfast was very good in terms of choices and very good value. The parking is plentiful and secure. The staff were hardworking and helpful. Deddington is itself nice and it’s a good place to explore from. Overall a 4* very good score because it was half the price of the last hotel we used in remote West Wales to meet with the same friends. I do not know what those scoring it lower paid but the price we paid was very competitive for what we received.

We hired the bowling lanes last weekend and had a great time! Such a fab set up with the private bowling, perfect for families/friends and groups. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and food in the bar area after was delicious! Lovely afternoon will definitely return.
