Hotel berhampiran La Casa De La Crónica, Chetumal

Me hospedé en este hotel porque había historias de terror en otros, realmente no hay muchas opciones que sean buenas en Chetumal, pero este hotel cumplió las expectativas para una noche. Las camas bien, la limpieza bien, la recepción me ayudó a encontrar un carro para rentar y eso fue un super plus! En verdad agradezco a la señorita de recepción. Algo que me pareció fabuloso es que el hotel está en el estacionamiento de una plaza comercial con Liverpool y Chedraui, por lo que cualquier cosa que necesites está a unos pasos Solo mejoraría el desayuno, en específico el jugo, porque sabe a medicina. Pero todo lo demás bien!

Tres bonne hotel, chambres tres propre, lit tres confortable

Espectacular, lugar de ensueño. Volvería una y mil veces más!!!

El hotel cristalino realmente nos encantó, sus instalaciones son perfectamente cuidadas, muy limpias y en orden, a nuestra llegada nos atendieron de una manera fenomenal la atención de la recepción fue tan agradable, nos dieron toallitas para refrescarnos y en todo momento mostraron interés hacia nosotros, Yessica la recepcionista, estuvo al pendiente de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario para nuestra estancia ella es realmente excelente anfitriona con una calidad y calidez humana inigualable digna de este bello lugar. La habitación es muy cómoda en ella tuvimos un descanso tan agradable, es bellísimo realmente. Por la tarde nos atendió Cielo (mesera) fue muy amable y servicial, estuvo pendiente de nosotros ofreciendo en todo momento las deliciosas opciones del menú del restaurante, la pizza de mariscos fue nuestra favorita. Gracias por habernos brindado un fin de semana inolvidable. Seguro volveremos!

Our family of eleven was looking for a relaxing day at the beach away from the crowds of the cruise ship and Maya Luna fit the bill perfectly. Carolina was extremely professional in providing me with information about the hotel before we ever arrived. She arranged for our transportation from and back to the port. She provided us with meal and snack selections so that we would be able to make our choices before we even arrived. The drive from the port was longer than I expected and the road was not well maintained in some places. But, that is not unusual when you get away from the typical tourist areas. On our arrival, we were shown to lounge chairs under a shaded awning. We had picnic tables in the shade of the numerous trees on the property. The staff was attentive to all our requests. The drinks, snacks and lunch were plentiful and delicious. I especially liked the pineapple shrimp and the guacamole. The property is so peaceful that a pair of woodpeckers had built a nest in a tree stump right next to us. My granddaughters were really excited to see them tending to their little ones. Actually, we were all excited to see them. The sea**** in Costa Maya is a problem. Carolina had informed me about the sea**** before we ever arrived. She did not want us to be caught unaware. And though there was sea**** in front of the hotel property, we were able to take a short walk down the road to an area where there was very little. Thanks to Carolina and her wonderful staff our day at Maya Luna was peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable.

The first impression upon arriving to this hotel is its architecture, curved lines in harmony with functionality. No doubt the Italian architect did a good job designing this hotel, the central location of the big swimming pool, the modern international art pieces and the roof details are paramount. Staff, as Jesus, was very friendly and always responded to our inquiries. Our stay of 10 days was very comfortable. The location is about 100 yards to the beach that had floating barriers for seaweed that affects beaches of Costa Maya. Nearby you will find many great restaurants, taxi stop right on hotel entrance, bus station about 200 yards away. The only downside possibly are the stairs if you are on the last floor (staff will handle your luggage), slightly slow WiFi (a problem in all Mahahual). We were lucky on our last day for they had announced electrical blackout in the city but we were not affected.
