Hotels Near GENG HAO TOUR in Chiang Mai

Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel for about 16 days. It's a big hotel close to Maya mall and upon our request to a higher floor room with great views were granted by the cute and efficient front office staff which made us to stay longer in this gorgeous town. Staff is really nice, efficient, the best here. Our room was in the 10th floor directly across the mountain view and Maya mall. Loved the view. Private balcony with sweeping views. Our room was really spacious, comfy bed and pillows with lovely comforter, big bathroom with ample hot water, shower and jacuzzi, toiletries are provided except for toothbrush, bathrobes and slippers provided. There's a security deposit box. Decent tv with cable channels. Free Wifi but the speed can be improved. There's a sofa bed which is really comfy too. There's a desk and a chair to work as well. Perfect space for people who work. Hotel seem to have two swimming pools but rooftop pool and bar is closed for renovations. There's a gym with decent equipments. Pool towels are provided. Sauna is adjacent to the gym. There's a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Free water bottles, tea and coffee provided. Daily housekeeping and absolutely the best housekeeping staff. Had enough and more privacy while enjoying our stay. We highly recommend this perfect hotel to everyone who visits Chiang Mai.

it’s very noisy as the room faces back end of a night club (warm up) which goes on forever, i think the balcony doors are not really zealed well against such a location at all.  while everything else was great, from yummy breakfast to air purifier automatically on once we enter the room, and the staffs were great

We were there for 4 nights, over New Years. Location is great, it's at the edge of Old City and a short driving distance to Nimman (where you can find lots of great cafes and eateries). Amenities are as advertised and the room looked exactly as in photos. We did however, encounter a few issues during our stay: - 2/4 pillows didn't have covers as the laundry shop hadn't delivered the clean ones in time, so we used towels over the pillow for a night. We were given the fresh covers the next morning. - The toilet bowl kept making weird flushing sounds throughout the night (and day, though we were mostly out) and we were greeted by unpleasant surprises sometimes. I believe it's a plumbing issue which the staff said they'll look into. Understandably, this is a new hotel, so there are definitely issues that may arise in the beginning. Other things to note/suggestions for the manager or owner: - 2 hair dryers are shared amongst the 8 rooms, so it's first-come-first-serve at the check-in counter. This can be rather inconvenient for all guests and the staff. The latter had to knock on the doors to collect the hair dryer back for other guests. - The room doesn't have a mirror, except for a small one in the bathroom. I acknowledge that it is not a necessity for most people, but having one in the room would be a nice touch. Overall, the room was clean and the staff were friendly (they gifted us a snack basket for the New Years!). I'd recommend this hotel.

The room is right above a busy street and very noisy on the first day when we checked in ( Loy Kratong festival) however next day was tolerable. It's inside the old city and alot of Cafe and small eatery .

Cons: • The hotel housekeeping staff did not clean thoroughly, especially the bathroom drain, which was clogged with hair. • Towels were not changed regularly. • The hotel’s TV is outdated and has a delayed response. • The hotel’s internet connection is poor. Pros: • The hotel has a great location. There is a bar downstairs, a supermarket, and street food nearby. • Maya Shopping Mall is just a 10-minute drive away.

Great hotel, really enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are nice and the main courtyard hotel is well themed, Pool is nice (could do with more chairs) Beds are comfortable and the refillable water is cool. Clean and well looked after hotel. Only a few things to make the stay nicer - there's no tea or coffee in the room. Water was warm in the shower, not hot enough to have a bath (one of the reasons I booked is for the bath tub)

This is a good budget hotel with the location approximately 10-15 minute walk to the old town. There are some bbq restaurants in the vicinity and a few decent coffee places not far. Outside of the hotel you can hire an electric bike or normal bicycle as part of the city wide scheme. I loved the fact the hotel had a 24 hour drink area where you could get hot water , tea, juice, water and coffee. They also have a range of drinks to purchase. The pool is a decent size but just felt a bit dirty when I used it with drinks bottles surrounding it and fallen leaves that hadn't been cleaned, which I know probably can't be helped. The room itself was a decent size with a hard bed. We were on the ground floor so had no view (other than of a wall) and I had nowhere to dry my swimming clothes. Had I stayed in a room with a balcony my experience may have been different. We couldn't get the safe to work and the receptionist did come and check it and said the battery was low and they would sort the following day but no-one did. The layout of the bathroom means that everything gets wet easily. Our drain was blocked in the shower on the first day but then the cleaner sorted during the clean of the room. I found staff to be friendly. I wasn't expecting the 300 baht deposit for the keycard upon check in (which is cash only). You also only get one keycard per room. I generally don't have cash but seemingly had some change in my wallet. If you're after a quiet budget hotel for a few days then I think this is potentially a good fit for you.

We booked this hotel because of its convenient location and reasonable price. The hotel fully met our expectations, and there are many surprises! We will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to our friends because the atmosphere is friendly and hospitable，pran is smiling and helpful, thanks prepared breakfast in everymorning, she like my mum🤣moreover, the environment is clean and tidy. Thank you for making our trip fun and carefree!

The hotel has a lot of charm. There is nice art. The worker at the desk was very polite. The amount of space was great. The furnishings were also quite nice. My only big problem with the hotel is the disgustingly dirty floors. I don't think they get scrubbed. To take a shower and walk barefoot on the tiles is to get dirty feet. The courtesy sandals were too small for me to wear. I think if they just scrubbed the tiles i would have given cleanliness a 5. The restaurant is only good for breakfast. The bathroom had no lights in the stall. Also there was no handsoap. There are better places for breakfast nearby. Across the street there is a good place for massage and numerous inexpensive restaurants are also nearby. It was a quiet room but the view was very poor.

This was a fantastic stay in Anyin Lanna Villa Resort , a comfortable environment and warmest service from all staffs, especially 小靜妹妹 who gave a considerable and generous services to us. Thank you everyone in Anyin and it is highly recommend to everyone to stay with Anyin.
