Very quiet neighborhood. Very clean rooms. The staff was very friendly; they stored my medication for a few days.

The place is in the center very accessible in all things in Old centre. The Filipina Receptionist is very kind and helpful. Toilets are in the room its so clean and Commendable for the set up of Bunk beds with the toilet. I suggest Put a Curtain to bunk beds for privacy.

This place is very confused on what it wants to be. Has the bones of a great hostel and it’s not living up to it. Definitely not a party hostel as they don’t allow noise. They should repaint /add curtains too rooms if they wanna remove themselves from the party vibe. But to keep it (which I think they should. ) add sound proofing so they can be the party hostel they should be. Glad they no longer charge for a blanket /towel though so they do listen to consumers. Overall such a shame that this space is going to waste. But everything without that confusing label was great

Water pressure was way too weak in the shower, but aside from that the location was really convenient next to loads of shops and bars, and staff really lovely, not really noisy either considering!

The hostel is very cute and very cool. The room is so clean. The aircon is very ok. They provide shampoo, body wash, tissue and towel. 75baht for the blanket.

Helpful staff. Great A/C and spacious lobby. The dorm was clean and also spacious. Quiet at night despite central location. The weird thing was that in this A/C dorm a blanket was not provided but for rent.

Worst hostel in Thailand so far. They were charging 75 bht for a blanket! But provided a shitty towel that I used as a blanket. Beds were old and squeaky and bedding had stains on it. Only good thing was the toilet in the room. Also was charging 20 for a small water, what a scam! No wonder the place has a bar downstairs and no one was sitting there. Could hear loud music playing from close bars till 3am. I’d pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer next time.

It's a good hostel for solo traveling. People are nice and helpful, location is great. Rooms are big enough and very clean.

Whenever I come Chiang Mai i always stay here, because feels really good and reception also so good.

First I was a bit afraid because Slumber Hostel is a party hostel. And I am not a partyer. I care about my sleep. I guess I was lucky because I was in a 4-bed dorm with very quiet people who also went to sleep pretty early. And it seemed that there were no parry people at all while I was there, I haven't heard a single sound of music/loud speakers in the night. It was perfect. (But they do warn you when you check in that you have to expect noise since it's a party hostel! So I guess sometimes it gets really noisy). I really liked the hostel's design, it all looked very new and clean. That's a big plus! Although they (strangely) don't provide blankets (you can rent one for 75 baht!), they did give me a free towel. Also there isn't any free filtered water available, so they want you to purchase new bottles. Business. They have a menu, which is extremely expensive (149 for a pancake for example). But given the cheap room rate (just over a 100 baht) it was really OK and I don't regret staying here. The location is also great! It's close to everything. Sam at the reception was very friendly.
