Ulasan Villa Lantara Chiangmai

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Lantara and really enjoyed our time there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful, a real highlight of our stay. The location is great: about a 10-minute walk from the old city center, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, and very close to the weekend night markets. The building itself has a charming old-Chinese architectural style, even though it’s only around five years old. Our room was located at the back of the building and was extremely quiet. I can imagine that the rooms facing the street, with balconies, might be noisier, but for us it was perfect. There’s a small lift for luggage, but guests use the stairs. It wasn’t an issue for us. The room was very spacious, with elegant Chinese-style wooden decor, a comfortable queen-size bed, and excellent cleanliness, housekeeping came daily. We also appreciated the generous amenities, including two free bottles of water and two cans of soda (Sprite or Coca-Cola) every day. The bathroom was large and featured a nice rain shower. If anything could be improved, it would be the breakfast. The buffet is quite small, and you have to choose your hot dish separately. It was fine, but nothing remarkable compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend Villa Lantara to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always cheerful, which made my stay very pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with two complimentary bottles of mineral water provided in the fridge every day — a thoughtful touch that’s perfect for the tropical heat. The shower pressure was strong and consistent, and bathrobes were also provided, adding to the comfort. The location is excellent — right next to the Saturday Night Market, with local markets, great restaurants, massage shops, and even a convenience store just steps away. A truly wonderful hotel that I can confidently recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Lantara Chiang Mai! The hotel is clean, peaceful, and perfectly located. Special thanks to Methawee at the front desk , she was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a warm smile. Her service truly made us feel at home. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

Nice service so i come again and again

Good: staff are quite friendly. It’s got a good location. Breakfast is good. It’s clean. Bad: No elevator (they put us on the 4th floor even though we indicated we have a toddler) so you will be walking up flights of stairs. Not really acceptable at this price point. Parking is limited and problematic if you have a car. No late checkout allowed.

Location is close to many amenities, in Old City. Rooms are large and quite quiet, considering the hotel is close the main road. Overall, had a great experience, highly recommended.

Villa Lantera is a beautiful, small hotel, extremely clean and well organized. Joe the owner/manager gave me a great welcome. Every staff member was polite and helpful. My twin room with en-suite was well appointed, maid service every day. In the old part of the city of Chiang Mai with street markets and other shops close by. Very easy and cheap to get a cab from the hotel to anywhere in the city. Breakfast available. Highly recommend.

Good Location, friendly staff. Room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was also good. Fitness room could have more stuff, but other than that everything was great.
