It was horrible. The service was really bad and not helpful. Room had a lot of problems. Toilet was not working. AC was loud.

Our stay at Karinthip Village was truly wonderful. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We arrived at the Chiang Mai bus terminal around 5 AM and couldn’t find a ride to the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel was very responsive—when I called, the receptionist kindly helped us book a Grab. We were also lucky to be allowed an early check-in for just 300 baht, even though the standard check-in time was 2 PM. While the hotel is a bit old, the atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, especially with many families staying there—it felt very homey. The location is another big plus—right in the Old City, it’s within walking distance of many famous landmarks. I’d definitely stay here again!

We liked the outside seating and pool space - apart from the swarms of mosquitos ready to eat you alive. The hotel will give you creams and coils to help. Not enough loungers in the sun, the water / pool floor looked pretty disgusting at times, but it was too hot not to dip 😭 Somethings can be done to improve - so they should

Beautiful hotel with lovely pool. Nice rooms with trendy outdoor showers and jacuzzi in bathroom. Very centrally located and inexpensive. However, in need of some loving care. Most of the Sun loungers are broken and curtains hanging off rails. Towels and bathrobes are threadbare. Only 2 of the 65 channels on the TV worked and one of those was very fuzzy. Hotel serves now F&B, not event coffee/tea.

It's an old-fashioned hotel with frangipani flowers and a swimming pool. It's quite clean, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and patient.

The hotel and the service were good. Maybe we were unlucky with the room. It had no view. Very closed in…and the bathroom was tiny. I liked the pool and the location of the hotel. Not the room.

Objectively speaking, the environment is very good. It is a garden-style B&B with a large area and good service. Everyone will greet you with a smile. But what I can't understand is why the room is so simple and cramped. The space It's pitifully small and the facilities are old, but I can tolerate these, but the soundproofing is simply bad at the ceiling level. Let's put it this way, during our stay here, we basically didn't talk in the room. I didn't even dare to be in the room. I can answer the phone inside because I can clearly hear any sound next door, such as opening the door, talking, taking a shower, or even having sex... In order to avoid embarrassment, I never dare to make a sound. I go out early and come back late, and then come back to sleep at night. That's it. Of course, such poor sound insulation greatly affects sleep. It can be said that I never entered a deep sleep during my stay here. I stayed in a room on the first floor and it felt like there was not a wall between me and the room next door but a thin wooden board.

It is an old hotel, and the room facilities are a bit old, but at this price, I think it is acceptable. There is 24-hour hot water and the air conditioner is also very cool. The hotel environment is very good and the location is very good. Just outside the hotel is Straw Street and a few steps away from Tha Pae Gate. There is a 711 nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel is also very quiet, the swimming pool is not small, and the recycled water is very clean. My friends and I lived very happily. Forgot to take a photo, so I just posted a picture. There are not many people in the hotel, which makes me feel a bit sorry for the hotel. The lady at the front desk is also very nice. There is also free mosquito repellent at the front desk.

Would not choose this hotel again. This hotel is very old and there is not enough lighting in the bedroom. The carpet in the room is so dirty that it is difficult to walk on it, and the hotel towels are torn. The air conditioner is old and there are not enough sockets. You can choose other places for the same price. All in all, would not choose again.

The hotel is in a great location, right near the city center, close to the attractions, very convenient, the hotel is clean and tidy, the service staff are also enthusiastic, next time I go to Chiang Mai, I will choose it
