Site de l’hôtel sympathique visuellement, mais chambres un peu vielles. Aussi, la piscine était verte quand nous y sommes allé donc cela gâche un peu l’expérience. En revanche la localisation est avantageuse car à 10 minutes en scooter du triangle d’or.

I had a wonderful stay here—truly a home away from home. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and the atmosphere made me feel right at ease. The town is stunning, with a rich cultural heritage that I enjoyed exploring. I also took hotel's bikes for some sightseeing, which added an extra layer of adventure to my trip. A fantastic experience!

It's really good to stay this hotel. I really really really love this place. The accommodation is clean and have facilities to supply my demand. the price is reasonable. I hope to visit this hotel again.

Pros : • Ruime comfortabele kamer met zicht op Mekong • Luchtig restaurant met redelijk buffetontbijt • Infinity pool met prachtig zicht op Mekong river Cons • Hier en daar enkele Thaise gebreken • Kaal terras : dit zou zo mooi kunnen zijn. • Zwembad is dringend aan herstelling toe. • Geen bar en restaurant voor lunch of diner Besluit : heel goede kamer, maar de rest van het hotel is ondermaats voor een 4 ster hotel. Wij verbleven hier ook in 2017 : kwaliteit is merkelijk gedaald. Onze deluxe kamer 305 was zeer ruim (30m²) met een goed en breed bed (1,80m breed) en tegelvloer. Goede airco, middelgrote flat screen TV, wifi, koffie en thee. De ruime badkamer met inloop regendouche en afzonderrlijk bad is heel comfortabel met badjassen en pantoffels. Indeling van de kamer is perfect. Goede verduisterende gordijnen. Balkon met 2 stoelen en tafeltje en vooral prachtig zicht over de Mekong en Laos. Maar vergeet niet : goedkopere superior rooms aan achterzijde van hotel hebben geen zicht op Mekong. Het ontbijtbuffet in het nogal kale restaurant was voldoende met apart eierstation. Soms avond restaurant soms niet, dus onbetrouwbaar. Geen bar wel gratis koffie en water in de lobby. Het buitenterras is extreem kaal, echt spijtig want met een beetje geld en moeite kan een architect hier wonderen verrichten. Groot infinity zwembad met zicht op Mekong river en met proper water maar heel wat gebreken , slechts drie houten ligzetels. Enkele gratis fietsen te gebruiken.

Tempat letak kereta masih ada iaitu hotel ini mempunyai dua bangunan. Hanya yang miskin boleh ditempah dalam talian. Tidak ada balkoni. Apabila saya pergi ke sana, harga di meja depan lebih rendah pada musim luar, dan harganya rendah dan anda boleh mendapatkan rumah dengan balkoni untuk melihat Sungai Mekong. , Kali ini ia tidak begitu berpatutan

For luxury travel in the Golden Triangle, there are only two choices: the Anantara and the Four Seasons. While it is widely known that the Four Seasons is the superior choice between the two properties and carries more weight as a brand name, we stayed at the Anantara because it was a quarter of the price. That isn't to say that Anantara is a poor brand by any standard -- I stayed at the Anantara in Quy Nhon, Vietnam in December 2023 and loved my stay. It was certainly a five star experience. Property: The property of the Anantara Golden Triangle is well designed with most rooms being a short walk from the lobby, restaurants, and pool. There are three restaurants: a larger area where breakfast and buffets are served, a poolside restaurant (though it is really just four tables), and a Chef's Table sort of restaurant using ingredients from the three countries of the Golden Triangle. The pool has a nice view but is rather cold and has no hot tub. Room: My family and I stayed in a Mekong Explorer Suite. The room was well designed and kept clean, and I have no complaints. It is comfortable, but not a room in which one would want to pass the entire day. Activities: I'm not sure how it is for all rooms, but basedon our room, we had one activity per day. One day we went on a walk with elephants on site, another we went on a bike ride around the Golden Triangle, and the other we went on a city tour of the Golden Triangle with a boat ride in the Mekong. All were well done and should be done if staying. We also had massages, which I found to be poorly done and uncomfortable. Food: Food, but not alcohol, was included with our plan. The food is good quality and has reasonable variety, though I was bored by the final day. They do try to have buffets to sparse up the food, but the buffets are just the dinner menu. I would recommend that the restaurants rotate their menus in order to keep guests entertained. Service: I overall was displeased with the service at the Anantara. I debated bestowing a 4 star review, but ultimately I believe the other areas carry it to a 5. Staff as a whole are adequate, but they seem confused and under-trained as a whole. Two specific examples stood out to me as evidence of the service coming in below par. For some reason, there seemed to be an internship program going on while we were there. One intern, Gum, seemed to be our waitress at every meal and she was perpetually baffled by basic requests and would run to get a supervisor. Moreover, she seemed to be confused by multiples of the same order (i.e. there were multiple examples where we would order 2 coconuts and she would bring one). I am not sure why the internship program was in full flow during the Christmas holiday, but it was somewhat disruptful. Another instance was during our second dinner, two members of our family didn't get their food for over an hour due to the restaurant being busy. It came laden with errors, so they invited us to the Chef's Table restaurant

We have stayed in many adventure lodges in the past and so were very excited to try out this spot. We loved it. The interactions with the elephants in the sanctuary are truly unique and such a highlight. Also, the staff is superb. I love that the Four Seasons higher mostly locals. Their warmth and hospitality shine through! Everyone on staff makes you feel right at home! a few highlights, Poy, the GM, was such a sweet joy. I had read many positive comments about her and they are spot on. Filipo is a new addition to the tea,-he runs food and beverage and it shows! Every morsel we put in our mouth was delicious!! We also love a good cocktail and found in Asia many restaurants don't offer cocktails, so their creativity was a great surprise! Our guide, Norman, was such a delight, we miss his giggle. Ralph was so attentive and cheerful! And the CHEF!!! she is amazing!!! Everyone was great, sorry, I don't remember everyone's names! We were lucky enough to get to experience both one of the luxurious tents and also the lodge. I was so torn about which to book, we had booked the tents (we are a family of 5) and so upon arrival, I asked the manager if the lodge was available at all during our 4 night stay-it was for two nights, so we got to experience both. They were kind enough to move our things. While the tents are amazing, the private pool and hang space of the lodge were perfect for our family. The chef came one night and grilled us dinner and they set up a movie projector and we watched a movie under the stars! We stayed 4 nights so we took advantage of all the resort had to offer. Spa, elephant dinner, bathing the elephants, breakfast with the elephants, hike, in-town excursion, fishing, Burma Bar, cooking class, wine tasting, the common pool, many wonderful meals, etc. All were great. The only thing I may skip would be the fishing. The highlights were elephant bathing, cooking class and the elephant dinner. We also really enjoyed learning about the elephants and how they got to the sanctuary and how the Mohuts spend their lives caring for them. The quality of everything here is beyond 5 stars. If you love an adventure and love elephants, this place is a DO NOT MISS!!
