Ottima posizione e rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Personale gentile e accogliente. Camera pulita e spaziosa. Possibilità di parcheggio nei pressi dell'hotel e, nel caso non si trovasse posto, anche a pagamento. Colazione nella norma. Presente il ristorante. Se si è stanchi è comodo poter cenare in hotel ma è da migliorare l'offerta del ristorante che sembra più orientata nel soddisfare le esigenze di gruppi o comitive piuttosto che di singoli clienti. Comunque struttura consigliatissima.

I know there are many 5 star reviews for this hotel but we were a bit disappointed. We’d split our week between 2 centres in Sicily so this hotel had some tough competition. We found this hotel to be ‘fine’ - the room was clean and the bed comfortable, it was however a little small and being on the lowest level felt a bit like living in a cave! The hotel is trying to be more ‘eco’ so no separate soaps/shampoo instead they provide a liquid soap dispenser in the shower and beside the sink - so far so okay. Towel washing is not done daily in an attempt to reduce use of water etc. we have no issues with this. The trouble with this hotel for us is that it has no heart/ sense of community being spread over 6 floors in a maze of a layout within old buildings. It doesn’t feel like an old building inside however as the conversion to a hotel has lead to the loss of any old character the building had which is a shame. The only communal area is the breakfast serving/ terrace area. We were greeted by one member of staff asking for our room number but then we essentially had to find ourselves a table and help ourselves to the buffet. Eventually we were offered a cappuccino or espresso but not until we had already poured ourselves a coffee from the hot plate jug on the buffet. Breakfast had an extensive array of options catering to the various tastes of guests but compared to the other hotel we’d been staying in there was very limited fresh fruit options which was surprising as there was such an abundance of nectarines, grapes, strawberries and other fruits on the market stalls locally. All in all we agreed this hotel felt like a conference hotel- not really engaging with the guests to make an effort to give good customer service but just going through the motions.

Absolutely top notch. My husband and I first came to Ragusa 12 years ago. Much has changed but thankfully much has stayed the same in the town. We were happy to discover Itria Palace when we were planning our itinerary. We stayed in a family room that consisted of two rooms, three beds and two showers. The room was accessible by stairs or lift. It was quiet, clean, super comfortable bed and pillows with very cold air conditioning. Breakfast in the morning was delightful featuring plenty of the usual Italian standards but also included local offerings which were delicious. A member of staff was on hand to prepare caffe and cappuccino for guests. We will absolutely return!

When we arrived a lady at reception helped us to carry our luggage to our room. We slept very well indeed because the hotel was situated in a quiet street, yet very close to the centre of Ragusa Superiore. It was amazing to walk and cover virtually the entire area to see the charming historic sights including so many churches in both Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa central, and to hear their bells chime regularly, was a beautiful experience. At breakfast, ladies greeted us, and each time we wanted certain edibles, the ladies came to our assistance. De Stefano's Director, was exceptional and made our stay perfect by going the extra mile, offering advice if we needed anything out of the ordinary. What a welcoming professional she is, always homely, smiling and happy. All the staff were terribly friendly and helpful, and so very eager to please and the service was first class. The room was kept in pristine condition and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel's position was fine, close to the many steps down and up to Ibla, and then up to the centre of Ragusa to go shopping or sightseeing there too. Restaurants were plentiful and with a little detective work, we found brilliant eateries off the beaten track and oh my, the variety of so so tasty cannoli became mind boggling. The venues that stood out for us for dinner were La Taverna Del Lupo, authentic and one we kept going back to, Trattoria da Luigi, Trattoria La Bettola and if you do not mind walking off a heavenly meal, then you must dine at Trattoria nto' Cumannanti, what a down to earth fun place with bustling atmosphere to enhance your taste buds. For lunch or a bite to eat, you have to go to Benvenuti al Sud, small family run with fantastic home cooked meals, and for an incredible variety of yummy delights we found ourselves returning often to Caffé Sicilia which had everything, and finally look out for fine bakeries such as the Panificio Carpenzano located in Corso Italia, and others presenting scrumptious and wholesome snacks. We had a wonderful stay at the De Stefano Palace Luxury Hotel. It was a fantastic holiday and it was a real pleasure to stay at the De Stefano. We found The De Stefano Luxury Hotel superb, and Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla were fine examples to see Sicily's splendid architecture. Well done De Stefano, truly recommended.

L'hotel si trova lungo la strada di collegamento tra Ragusa e Marina di Ragusa da cui dista circa 12 km. Per spostarsi, quindi, bisogna disporre necessariamente di un veicolo. La struttura è molto carina, con una grande piscina, la palestra, ristorante e bar. Dispone di ampi spazi, tra cui anche un anfiteatro per spettacoli ed un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito. Le camere sono spaziose con affaccio sulla piscina (la nostra) ed il letto comodissimo con topper. Tv 42” ed aria condizionata regolabile dagli ospiti. C'è anche un piccolo frigo con due bottigliette di acqua gratuite e, nel bagno, i soliti accessori. Veramente fantastico il buffet per la colazione soprattutto per chi (come noi) gradisce il dolce e la frutta la mattina. Abbiamo trovato, infatti, diverse specialità di dolci con crema ed alla mandorla e frutta di diversi generi. In conclusione, un ottimo soggiorno anche se solo per una notte ma ci sarebbe piaciuto poter rimanere per una settimana. Sconsigliato per chi non ha la macchina e viaggia con i mezzi pubblici.

In un contesto urbano decisamente squallido, sorge questo hotel, nuovissimo e con tutti i confort. Personale gentilissimo e professionale, stanza molto bella con ottimo impianto di aria condizionata. Frigobar ben fornito, colazione abbondante e varia. Unico punto dolente la luce del bagno che di notte rimaneva accesa per molto tempo (porte del bagno in vetro). Una ”chicca” per giovani coppie: il vetro trasparente della doccia che da direttamente nella camera da letto...

Antico eremo, vero gioiello di architettura sapientemente ristrutturato, posizionato nella quiete della campagna ragusana, a metà strada tra Ragusa e Marina di Ragusa, ma raggiungibile molto facilmente. Situato in posizione strategica per visitare i dintorni: assolutamente indispensabile un mezzo proprio di trasporto. E' dotato di parcheggio, piccola piscina contornata da uno splendido giardino, una piccola necropoli e vari luoghi comuni (patio, cortiletti ecc), tutti ben tenuti ed accoglienti. L'ingresso, il ristorante e la cripta sono molto belli e suggestivi. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Unico suggerimento che mi sento di dare: le stanze sono tutte nel corpo centrale tranne i cottage, cinque in tutto, - dove io ho soggiornato - che si trovano in un corpo staccato, seppur non distante (si esce dal cancello, si percorrono circa 50 metri sulla strada d'accesso e, attraverso un altro cancello si raggiungono tali stanze che si trovano lungo la pista d'atterraggio di piccoli aerei privati. Vengono fornite anche delle biciclette). Niente da dire sulla loro qualità e comodità, ma nonostante usufruiscano di tutti i servizi offerti dalla struttura, soggiornando lì, a mio parere, si rischia di non vivere appieno la magia del luogo. Pur non trovandomi male, ho provato a farmi spostare nel corpo principale, ma mi è stato riferito che tutte le camere erano occupate. Se invece amate il silenzio assoluto e lo stare totalmente per i fatti vostri, allora tale sistemazione fa per voi. In conclusione, consiglio assolutamente l'Eremo della Giubiliana.
