The buffet was absolutely delicious, and the location is great too. Traveling with a baby, they provided a crib, bathtub, and sterilizer, which was incredibly convenient. It was also very handy to be able to book a special sunrise tour bus directly from the hotel.

Reasons to stay here. 1) Convenient location for a 1-night stay 2) Food quality 3) Front Desk staff - super helpful and speak fluent English. Reasons for not staying here: 1) Cleanliness of the room - There was mold in the shower. Dust in the hairdryer 2) Hotel room rate is too expensive, does not justify the overall hotel product and offering. We have stayed in other 5-star hotels within other National Park and paid lesser. 3) Hotels near the Alishan Visitor centre are not too far from the trails.

Reccomended accommodation to stay during your visit to Alishan. Location is accessible to hiking trails, train and bus stations. Appreciate the complimentary shuttle bus from hotel to the visitor centre, train and bus stations. Hotel beakfast and dinner are decent. Would be good to have a gym area as one of the facilities to use during wet weather.

When i reserved the hotel, i have no idea how to get to the hotel, and didn’t receive any reply from the hotel. Fortunately, it isn’t that difficult to locate the shuttle bus pick up details from the hotel website. This hotel is located inside the Alishan National Park, its shuttle bus can be boarding at the Alishan transit area (just at the Alishan National Park entrance, and where the public bus 7322,7239 are alighting or picking passengers). Otherwise, walk in after the park ticket purchase. Shuttle bus has a stop at the Information Centre, inside the Alishan National Park. Room was given an upgrade and has two king size beds (each is made up of two individual bed joining, not so idea though). 2 wash basin, no fighting over. Room deco is old design but overall is comfortable. I also wanted to compliment two staff a the restaurant where buffet breakfast and dinner are provided- mr Jacky and mdm Jhang. Both provided great insights on the routes to xianglin shenmu and that helped us for not missing out; highlighted to us on the special fruits of taiwan, and that made foreigners. They both made our first trip to Alishan a pleasant and our stay a pleasure.

It's a wonderful hotel room. Breakfast and dinner spread is sufficient. Good location to view Sakura. Recommended for family. It was a very pleasant experience. Will return back if there is an opportunity.

For my 2-day Alishan trip, I decided to stay up in the mountains. Even though the room rate was super expensive, I still booked it. The hotel's shuttle service was excellent, making it very convenient for us to get around. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety of choices, and the food was delicious.

Stay 1 night in 1 room 4 beds. RM3300. Included dinner and breakfast. Meal very good. Shuttle to Alishan township. Hotel location inside the travel attraction entrance shall pay entrance tickets NT300 per person before stay in. Water not clean. Bad smelling. Once using for wash mouth bad smell and itchy making cough

One of only two hotels located within Alishan National Scenic Area, it's a bit pricey, but the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent, so you don't have to go down the mountain to find food. You can watch the sunset from the observation deck, and they can also arrange a bus trip for sunrise viewing. It's not too far from the Giant Trees Trail or the station. It's definitely worth staying two nights to leisurely enjoy the Alishan experience.

Hotel was centrally located in Alishan recreational park. We booked a family room at a premium price. Room was spacious but disappointed with how dated the hotel furnishings were. Love the shuttle service provided by hotel and also the good spread of dinner and breakfast buffet. Overall pleasant stay, probably best in Alishan.

Great 1 day stay at Alishan Hotel, with dinner and breakfast covered. The dinner spread was fabulous. The shuttle service to visitor centre was very frequent and Hotel staff were very helpful and obliging. It's a good location and starting point fior the forest trail walk. Starbucks as lobby lounge was a bonus.

Staying at Alishan Hotel felt like waking up inside a postcard — misty forests, sunrise trains, and the legendary sea of clouds right at our doorstep. Though the price is steep, the heritage charm and unbeatable location make it a memorable splurge for nature lovers

The hotel's shuttle service was incredibly convenient, and the front desk staff were very professional and helpful. They even proactively offered assistance with our next day's itinerary, giving us plenty of time to discuss our plans. The overall travel experience was excellent! 👍 The location was also very convenient, close to Alishan Station and Zhaoping Station, allowing us ample time to explore the entire park. I personally highly recommend it and would definitely visit again.

The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a shuttle bus from the visitor center, and it’s also very close to the Trees area, making it easy to explore on foot. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. I recommend arriving before 3 p.m. if possible leave your luggage at the hotel, take some time to walk around nearby, then come back for dinner. We only stayed for one night and arrived late in the mountains around 8 p.m., almost missing dinner. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and kind, and they helped us so we were still able to enjoy our meal. The food was great, and all the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

The room rate included a buffet dinner and breakfast, which was very convenient as we could return to the hotel for meals after a walk around the park, and the food was quite good. The rooms in the history museum building really had a strong sense of history, which was interesting, but the soundproofing was poor. You can watch the sunset and stargaze from the 7th-floor observation deck. Highly recommended! The hotel shuttle to Alishan Station was also very convenient.
