Hotel berhampiran Rockwell, Chicago

My husband and I and my sister all stayed at the Peninsula Hotel . This hotel is amazing. The rooms are pristine and comfortable. The dining was out of this world! We LOVED the Chinese Restaurant in the hotel. The food was perfect and the service wonderful. We also enjoyed a late meal in the lobby. We all had the Ahi Tuna appetizer and a salad before our main course. We were so full that we had to cancel our main meal orders! Everything was elegant, delicious and relaxed. We will stay there the next time we are in Chicago ( soon)! Our thank you’d to everyone working there. The Peninsula staff were all friendly and helpful!

A historic hotel with accessible prices if you get a discounted offer. It’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast but the location makes up for it, right on the magnificent mile. Our room was confortable but the A/C unit was too noisy.

Three adults Stayed for one night in a studio with 2 Queens. Location was great! Room was located on 8th floor facing Erie. Had a view of the Nike and Ferragamo stores and Ritz Carlton Residences on Michigan Ave. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Modern amenities and very clean. Front desk staff in first floor lobby was very nice and friendly. Free breakfast with a view from the 20th floor was good. Did not utilize valet parking at $75. Used SpotHero in a self parking garage one block away for $30

Dear Management, Our stay at your hotel was quite disappointing and uncomfortable, with experiences ranging from excellent to poor. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is unbeatable, just a few steps away from the Magnificent Mile and right next to the Red Line subway station. This made shopping, dining, and exploring the city’s attractions very convenient. The room itself was spacious, exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We appreciated the in-room amenities such as the mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, which added to our convenience. However, the hotel’s management left much to be desired. Upon our arrival at around 4 PM on July 11th, the front desk staff repeatedly asked for my family name while holding my Canadian passport, trying to obtain personal information from my Chinese visa. This mistake led to another front desk employee calling us at 9 AM on the third morning to verify my identity with my passport/ID again. Most frustratingly, during our four-night stay, our room was never cleaned. There was a sign on the door that had ”NO Thank You” printed on both sides, which was confusing. Even when we hung the sign outside, the cleaning staff would still knock on our door at 9 AM while we were still sleeping. When told to come back later, they never returned. Despite leaving the room at 11 AM and repeatedly informing the cleaning staff and front desk that our room needed cleaning, it never happened. Additionally, we ran out of shampoo. Despite informing the front desk in the morning, it wasn't replenished by the time we returned in the evening. This forced me to wait in the lobby for a long time to get the issue resolved after a tiring day of sightseeing. On the night before our departure, I went to the front desk to share our experiences with two staff members. They offered us breakfast as compensation, but we typically do not eat breakfast. Overall, our experience at the hotel was very poor. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the Hilton brand, and this experience has caused me to question the brand’s reputation. I visited this hotel with my girlfriend and it was a good experience as it was close to downtown and close to several convenient areas.

位置極佳，坐落於Chicago River邊上，樓下就是地鐵站，部分房型高樓層城景十分震撼。衞生無可挑剔，客房打掃服務細緻入微。美中不足的是酒店比較吝嗇，房間內不贈送任何東西，飲用水要主動問前台要。泳池略小、健身房略老舊。

Excellent hotel, from every point of view. I will stay again in it, no doubt. Breakfast was superbly good. And all the people at the hotel, from the front office to the luggage storage, provided an amazing service. Kudos to you Hyatt and your people!

I would recommend this hotel to everyone if I could! Every single staff member was super nice and answered all my questions fast. The LOCATION is PERFECT! I was staying here for Lollapalooza and it was just a 8 or so minute walk to grant park. Being right on the river was incredible! The inside is very nice and clean and the room was very spacious. Will stay here gain if I ever come to Chicago!

This is a historical hotel in Chicago, love it very much. I love their restaurant & bar, good atmosphere and serve with good foods (see my pictures). I will definitely choose this hotel again by the next time to Chicago

Historical hotel in a good area of Chicago. Check in staff is very helpful and pleasant. Good gym and big pool to exercise and many restaurants and pubs around which are very convenient
