Really good location, good vibes and staff is really co-operative and friendly specially sohabh

We attended a wedding reception there and thought this looked as wonderful place to stay as well and so booked a room. We duly arrived at the hotel at approx. 4 o'clock and was looking forward to using the pool and the spa facilities. So we arrived at reception, to book into our room. All seemed good with the reception staff initially but as we booked in, all went quiet and the lady, asked us to wait for a minute, while she made a call. Bearing in mind, we arrived late, as you can book in from 3pm, we just thought that she was sorting out the room. 10 or so minutes passed and she came back saying the room was not ready. I said, well if it is not, please put us in a room that is, to which she replied, none of the rooms in out area were available at this time, as the housekeeping were running late due to, delays in checkouts. Bearing in mind it was now 4:40pm, I asked to speak to the manager. She said, go to the bar and I will call you as and when the room became available. I then unfortunately became more upset and insisted in speaking the manager. After a further 20 0r so minutes and the receptionist, going off to find him. he arrived, with little or no sympathy. He offered not apology initially but eventually accepted the fault. He then went into reception and I m not sure where this room came from but we were given the key. this was at 5:30pm, so we had been there for an hour and a half and had only just been given a key. We thought that at least we could got in there and have a little time for a swim before the reception but unfortunately, this was far from finished . When we entered the room, it was horrendous, ceiling looking as if it had had a leak, stains all over the floor, water marks all over the carpet and a view of a wall outside the window and a timber sheet to the left hand side. By this time, my wife was very upset, as was I but, I was also very angry. I went back to the reception and spoke with a different receptionist and explained the issues. All he could do was apologise and gave us an alternate room straight away, It was smaller but ok, so we moved. By this time approx. 6:15pm, it was too late to use any of the facilities and so we got changed and went to the reception. We had a great night with friends. As to the hotel/estate however, we will NEVER return.

We've just had a 2 night stay in the garden lodge. We loved our room, the hotel, restaurant and the location. It was perfect to visit Cliveden House (the purpose of our stay), Hughenden Manor and Marlow. The hotel was apparently taken over in Jan 2024, so is under new management. We think it was the Manager/Owner we spoke to on our first night, who'd also checked us in. He was very friendly and helpful. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent, every course was superb and we loved the ambience. The continental breakfast served during the week was spot on and more than enough to keep us going til lunch. We didn't get to use the pool, but there's a pool bar being built, so this will be a great hotel to use in the warmer months with those 2 facilities. The bed and bedding in the garden lodge was wonderful and very hard to leave! We'll definitely return, possibly with friends next time, as there's lots more to explore nearby. i have stayed at the ibis beconsfield every year for the last four when i go to down south has a stop over around half way from me and find it great value i paid £39 in july if you book early if thats not value i dont no what is the rooms may be basic but they are clean and do the job they have always been freindly helpful staff on reception witherspoons on your doorstep and a large inside services with all the big names mcdonalds kfc ect never had any issues always had a quiet night no noise thanks ibis beconsfield and see you next time

We had a two-night, week-end stay here while visiting friends in Gerrards Cross. Arriving quite late after a long drive down from Edinburgh, check in was prompt and friendly. The hotel is much bigger than we expected, but well laid out. There are only three floors, so the lifts are quick. Our second floor room was very clean and quite spacious, with a comfortable super-king sized bed. Other nice features - a small fridge and a safe big enough to take a laptop. The bathroom was spotless with nice complimentary shampoo and shower gel. I'd forgotten to bring my face flannel so I was pleased to see one provided. The only drawback to our room was that there was no air conditioning, and it became uncomfortably hot, with the windows opening only partway, as is usual in hotels. Helpfully, there was an electric fan which provided some relief. We popped downstairs to the bar (they have more than one) on both evenings and the bar staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good, with an extensive buffet of hot and cold items. Again, service was prompt and efficient and the young staff were professional and worked well together. We can't comment on the evening meals as we ate at our friends' house. Outside, the Bull has quite a big garden full of interest, with some nice topiary and tables set out. We had an enjoyable stroll round. The hotel itself looked well maintained, and someone with good taste has chosen a nice variety of pictures all around the hotel and along the corridors. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay in pleasant surroundings, and I would definitely recommend the Bull.

Great location, large car park (free) can walk along the canal at the rear of hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable.

This is our first family hotel staycation in United Kingdom,we choose Watford Leonardo Hotel and stayed for 2nights.I booked one night first because I am not sure this hotel is comfortable enough,the first day we reached is a rainy day and after a show in London we arrived at hotel around 6pm.The carpark Sutton is closed to the hotel and we spent £6 for 24hrs parking quite reasonable,(but you can get £2 discount from the front desk,but unfortunately nobody informed me,nevermind!!) We ordered some supper at night taste quite good.I admired their online checkin and check out service.But the next day when I was sleeping and hanged a signal at the door,their staffs knocked my door twice,quite ridiculous,they can call me instead but their manner is nice so hope they can improve it.If I stay in Watford again,I will definitely come back to this hotel.
