We stayed here for about four nights and even extended as it was so great! Loads to do in the surrounding area and the staff were great and really helpful.

Overall such a wonderful experience. Starting with the location which is right next to Devikulam / Chinnakanal Reserve Forest. The western ghats feel , the diversity of food , the lovely cottages , wonderful food makes it a wonderful value for money package. Inspite of heavy rush the staff did their best to manage things. What we loved most apart from food was the quality of house keeping services which was timely & prompt . Offcourse the activity centre managed by Thahir was the icing in the cake. A trained naturalist himself , Thahir & his colleague Christopher / others manage the activities so well. The Bird watching just inside the resort itself you can see some 30 odd species of birds which are endemic to Western Ghats. This was topped up with the last day easy trek to Seethadevi lake which was like you are deep inside a tropical forest but so close to the resort. Thats where Thahir's true passion and knowledge came out and what was supposed to be 2 hours trek extended to almost 3 hours . We spotted wild elephant dung / signs of recent elephant movements , fresh leopard scat , deer dropping , a lovely forest waterfall and finally the divine Seethadevi lake. For us everything else in Munnar can be missed but the Eravikulam National Park & this trek. Thahir is a true asset to Sterling Resorts team , wishing him & everyone in Sterling happy new year 2024

We stayed at Sterling Munnar for three nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our trip was a challenging trek through the Shola forests in the monkey hill guided by the knowledgeable Tahir from sterling resorts. We chose hard trek and it was well guided by Tahir from sterling.Surrounded by nature, we were lost in its beauty for nearly five hours. Though we didn’t spot many animals, seeing a deer and wildlife footprints added excitement. After reaching the top hill point, we get 360 degree view which was fascinating and memorable one. The resort itself was beautiful, with cozy accommodations and engaging evening activities like games and a bonfire. Sterling Munnar perfectly balanced adventure and relaxation, making it a trip we’ll always cherish. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

“I recently stayed at Sterling Munnar and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. We especially enjoyed the New Year event with a Gala dinner, DJ, and campfire, which offered a variety of fresh and delicious options. The overall ambience of the hotel was relaxing. Mr Christopher and other staff members accomplished well at the New Year event.

I am Vinod from Kollam. I stay at Sterling Munnar for 5 days with my wife (Room No - 1307) .Well maintained property, nice welcome at reception, comfortable rooms. All in all a great stay and certainly come back. 5 Stars to the housekeeping team on the third floor - ANUMOL, SYAMILY, BALA. Always ensured that room is ready and clean. They were very polite and professional with smiling face. Their hard work & dedication don't go unnoticed. I booked the room with dining. Kitchen staff Vishal was very helpful for any food I want. I would strongly recommend this hotel for my family & friends visiting Munnar.

House keeping staff kept the rooms impeccably clean. They added personal touches with their skilful display at towel art. The use of glass bottles instead of single use plastic bottles is commendable. The front desk and the reception staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The F&B manager Mr. Yogesh Mehta and his team sprung into action and expertly whipped up Karimeen Pollichathu, a succulent fish enveloped by an array of masala, spices wrapped in banana leaf, distinctive to the region. It was a wonder to witness endless trays of the very popular Manchurian chicken being devoured! Sterling Munnar treated us as special guests and touched our hearts with the grand display of presenting us with gifts of tea, nuts and of course the very personalized complimentary dinner. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

Was skeptical first but once going to sterling resorts was very very happy about it the comfy feel regarding food regarding stay at 1BR was great view was superb climate was excellent very cold but enjoyable very helpful staff specially restaurant manager mr Yogesh and his assistant and what to say about the chef beenu and the head chef they were excellent too good food their lavish buffet and the manager front desk mr Praveen he was very kind to us to adjust as my knees has to go surgery any time he arranged for us without meeting us on our word on phone very kind of him housekeeping Tamil and all staff Krishna puya and the manager too all were very good not only to me but everyone that I saw which I found very nice and welcoming I will forever remember my trip to munnar sterling Even the bell boys and cable car driver they were ready to pick us up in one call it was a great trip

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids and booked for 3 rooms. The check-in process was hassle free. The staffs (Gayathri, Tibin, Rijin, Siva) were all well behaved and helpfull. The rooms were all kept clean before we arrived. The kids enjoyed the play area and the swimming pool.

It was our 1st time here in Munnar, we had a wonderful two night three days stay with in  your resort. We enjoyed the peace and quietness, fun and frolics, music and dance as and when required. Above all tasty food ***** with very cooperative and friendly behavior of FnB staff specially ur Manager Mr. Yogesh Nehra ji . He was out standing and dedicated person for his job and provided us best tasty food and other snacks. All his efforts definitely added to the excellent service of the staff in every segment of your hotel. Every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive, kind and professional including receptionists, room service staff and FnB staff. We had always a great time staying at different sterling resorts, but Munnar poperty is one of its own kind. We will definitely recommend your resort to our friends, colleagues and family, and I’m sure we’ll be back. I hope to get the same quality of service when we return. Spread over 14 acres,sourounded by mountains ad lush green trees this amazing resort with 151 rooms is blending of luxrey,comfort,peace ad tranquilty with an aura,it has a pool,gym,ad offers massages,My cottage 1409 was done in style,410 sq. feet carpet area with 3 large open windows,the dinning area with306 covers has delicious ad large variety,the large proactive work force,Yogesh the F&BChief ad his charming wife the sales excutive were most helpful ad made our stay memorable

The entire team was fabulous... Special appreciation to Front office Gayathri..very able and dutiful....superb...and other front office staff needing special mention are, Ayisha,Angel, Shubam....all were very helpful and Courteous.....Hats of to Yogesh , The head - Food and Beverages....Every breakfast, lunch or Dinner ...he is at every table enquiring about the food and likings ..He was great...Dharmaraj and Bala ...of belldesk were courteous and dutiful .Not the least..a good Chief in Arun and his Assistant Praveen..... Christopher, Associate was entertaining....In total 10 out of 10 for all.

Service: This property is mostly supported by immatured Interns who were NOT is a position to give instant relief / remedy in the event of crisis. Too many reminders were needed to get things done. Room UpKeep: Working condition of the Amenities are NOT ensured prior to allocating Rooms. Suffered a lot until the midnight past and then shifted to another room with serious ordeal. Saajna was only the rescuer who provided instant remedy at 11:45pm by providing alternate room. Appreciate Sravan who understood our plight and extended his support within his means throughout our stay (14th-16th February 2025). Very first reception by Gayatri was excellent, during Check-in. Location: Cab dependant is very costly as the Resort is 18kms away from Munnar Town. Bad Road to reach the Property. Rooms Maintenance is very poor. Working condition of the Amenities are NOT ensured prior to allocating Rooms. Geyser supported rooms. This was NOT working for Hot Water supply. Even Shifted room's Bath room was NOT maintained to the barest minimum. All fixtures (Showers) were just about to collapse. Rooms were NOT provided with Room Heaters but on demand.
