Jagatpur Lodge

Wonderful all inclusive lodge in the middle of the forest at the entrance of the national Chitwan park. Walk in the jungle with Hem, knowledgeable guide to discover rhinos, 🦏 crocodiles 🐊 deers and d many birds. Peaceful boat safari and 4x4 safari. Great rooms in a nice surroundings, extremely gentle and effective staff. A charming very good standard place to be to visit the park. I do recommend.

The stay absolutely wonderful I couldn’t have asked for a more immersive and memorable trip, especially when going on safari we saw rhinos and all sorts of wildlife with a very informative guide. The resort its self is the definition of peaceful, a total escape. The tent we stayed in had the most amazing view of the jungle along with all the amenities one could ask for. The staff were just wonderful no attitudes whatsoever only the highest level of hospitality. I couldn’t not recommend staying at jagatput lodge more highly.

Best property in Chitwan with natural jungle feels, wonderful location , well behaved staffs , yummy foods with actual 5 stars Viber. Jagatpur Lodge gave us positive vibes , jolly mood, refreshing energy and a calm mind. Thanks to all Staffs and special thanks to our guide Mr. Suman ( very nice and kind person with high knowledge in Jungle Safari). I suggest all to visit this wonderful place once. ❤️

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Staying in a tent was so cool (and it’s surprisingly big!), and everything inside is so comfortable. We could view and hear so many animals from the balcony. The activities were so much fun and we learned a lot from our guide Suman. Everyone from the staff was so caring and attentive, it was the best hotel service I’ve ever had. And the food they serve is absolutely delicious. If I could give 6 stars I would!!!

We stayed 2 nights at the Jagatpur Lodge. The luxurious tent was very clean and had a beautiful view of the Rapti river. The entire staff treated us with excellent service and was very personable. Mr DK Hamal, our naturalistic Gopal hi, the kitchen staff, Amrit, Sagun and all the staff were very kind and provided us with delicious food. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Chilean National Park

My family of three just came back from an amazing stay at Jagtpur Lodge. We stayed in one of the tents, which is glamping at the finest! The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the overall room. The tents come with mini splits as well as a fridge. Our family would go to bed with the sound of the humming insects and wake up with the birds calling. The lodging is splendid and gives you a true feel of being one with nature. We did the boat safari, nature walks, and a half-day jungle safari. We saw rhinos, langurs, crocodiles, elephants, kingfishers, and amazing flora. The naturalist, Suman is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He really cares about the park and animals. The dining staff was so kind as well as the rest of the hotel staff. They always went above and beyond any requests. The one thing I wish the lodge had was food native to the region and/or use ingredients that are grown in the region. That would be an added bonus to the whole jungle lodge experience.

Our recent stay at Jagatpur Lodge was an extraordinary experience. Although our visit lasted less than three days, we enjoyed every second. This lodge provided an experience beyond what I had expected, and I would love to come back again! 1) Service and Hospitality: From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. All the staff were so thoughtful and nice, especially during meal times. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. 2) Activities and Safari:The variety of activities offered was a highlight of our stay. Our nature guide, Hem, was a treasure – sweet, experienced, and incredibly knowledgeable. His expertise allowed us to witness a diverse range of wildlife, and he was always ready to answer our random questions. Hem's guidance enriched our safari experience, making it both educational and enjoyable. Suggestions for Improvement: 1) Language Accessibility: To further improve the experience, especially for Chinese guests, providing Chinese translations for guidance (or animal descriptions?) would be beneficial. This could be done through cards or signage, helping to overcome language barriers and make the safari more inclusive and informative since safari is a big part of the experience. And I’m sure that having Chinese service can attract many more Chinese visitors. 2) Additional Activities: I would suggest incorporating small-scale, optional activities like morning yoga amidst nature, movie nights featuring wildlife documentaries, meditation classes, Nepali cultural workshops, or even dancing around a fire. I think these activities would offer guests a deeper and more holistic immersion into the natural and cultural beauty of Nepal.

We were 2 families of 4 adults and 2 kids. What a warm welcome provided every time you enter the hotel after any activity. It’s a lavishly spread green property with a river in the backyard. The trees are as old as eternity. During the morning there are so much mists droplets dropping from the leaves that it feels like drizzle. I can write an essay on our 2 nights stay at the property, but I would just summarise it in some quick pointers: Pros: 1. The property is in itself a sprawling rain forest 2. The property is absolutely safe 3. It has the Nepal’s best Bartender - Named Bal Bahadur. He has magical hands. 4. The Guide for Jungle Safari and River Safari - Mr Gopal is a treasure hunter. He is the Vasco Da Gama of Nepal. He has an experience of 29 years. 5. The staffs are really good and deserve appreciation. 7. The tharu cultural event is a must watch Cons: 1. Far from main Sauraha location of Chitwan 2. Super Expensive, It beats likes of Hyatt and Marriot in terms of prices. 3. Food is a big problem. They do not have anything Indian in the buffet spread if not requested. It was more of continental and Chinese during our stay. Had to specifically order for Indian Vegetarian food. 4. Cannot go out of resort . Overall recommended for stay at Chitwan of the cons don’t matter much Thanks for the hospitality.
