To my surprise, the next day, the receptionist remembered and told me she had looked it up on her phone and planned a route for me, even detailing where to catch the bus and what time I needed to leave to get back to the hotel. I was really touched by such thoughtfulness and felt completely at ease. The room was clean, and I appreciate that they don't tuck the duvet under the mattress, which is a thoughtful touch as I no longer have to struggle to pull it out. The breakfast had a good variety, and I even had tangyuan. Plus, there's a night market with street-side hotpot nearby that tastes great. It's convenient for shopping and about 1 km from the subway station and commercial area, making transportation easy.

The service was good. The location at the riverside has superb views but quite far from all the tourist places and the city. So we took the Didi every timetime to come and go from the hotel. Breakfast can be better as 99% is pork. Could have a better spread like the Holiday Inn Express in Beijing that caters to non pork eaters. The room was great and spacious with all the amenities. It will be great if the hotel can share a list of restaurants nearby.

The hotel front desk checked in very quickly. Seeing that I was with my children, they sent me some snacks. They helped me upgrade the room and arranged a room facing the park. The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were complete. The aunt who cleaned the room was very responsible and polite. She greeted me every time she met me. The surrounding environment is very comfortable, suitable for taking the family around. Next to it is Erlang Station on the ring line. It is worth staying here. If I have the opportunity to come to Chongqing again, I will definitely choose here.

It's perfect for a weekend escape to relax, enjoy nature, and de-stress.

I am very dissatisfied with the reduction of the pictures uploaded by travelers on the Ctrip website. Large pictures can fully show the details and provide enough reference information. Ctrip has reduced the uploaded photos to a very small size. Many people like me like to compare hotels on the large monitor on the computer, and attach great importance to the photos uploaded by tourists, because this is more real. I wonder if anyone on Ctrip pays attention to these comments and collects feedback?

As a long-time IHG member, Holiday Inn Express has always been my preferred choice for extended business trips. This particular hotel is quite decent, but my only complaint is that the large TV cannot be used for screen mirroring. Due to the way the mounting bracket is installed – it's too low, likely for aesthetic reasons – there's no space to plug in an HDMI cable to connect a laptop. I even consulted the hotel electrician, but they couldn't resolve the issue. This really impacts the entertainment options for guests on longer stays. Couldn't the hotel simply install an HDMI extension cable? A half-meter cable only costs a few dollars. I suggest that every TV should come equipped with an HDMI extension cable to meet guests' business screen-mirroring needs.

Second time staying here. It's suitable for business trips. The front desk staff, QUEEN and STELLA, were very welcoming and provided excellent service.
