The hotel is a part of a regular residential building, with sections of floors separated for the hotel. The entrance to your room is behind a glass door and even though the reception is on another floor, the services are good. Communication was done using WeChat.
The hotel is right in the center of the city, literally right next to a metro station entrance. It offers an amazing view, that I feel is almost unbeatable at this budget. Even though it has a French window, when you close the curtains it becomes very cozy.
The single biggest issue is poor soundproofing, you can hear almost everything from the neighboring room. It was challenging to sleep when my neighbors watched tv late one night for example. In turn, I felt bad for filling up the bathtub on another occasion, because I knew my neighbors would hear me as well.
As for the smaller issues, there was a buildup of humidity by the wall between the room and the neighboring bathroom, making the floor around the wall a bit slippery and wet.
However, as stated above, if you can get past these issues, the room offers comfort and a very good view.
