Hello Ibis Christchurch Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my appreciation for the wonderful setting and location of your hotel during my stay on Jul 23rd. The Central Business district location, coupled with the fantastic array of shopping and dining options mere meters away, truly made my experience enjoyable. I must commend your front desk team for their warm and friendly service throughout my stay. They were attentive and accommodating, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. However, I regret to share that my experience with the housekeeping teams left me feeling disappointed. My Friend and I had made a specific and personal request, both directly with the housekeeping staff and through the front desk, to have our room cleaned during our stay. Unfortunately, upon returning to our room, we were shocked to find a ”do not disturb” tag hanging on the door, indicating that the room had not been attended to. I understand that errors can occur in any establishment, and I believe this was a process oversight rather than a deliberate neglect. Nevertheless, I felt the need to bring this matter to your attention. These small irritants can have a lasting impact on a guest's experience, and I sincerely hope that your management will take this feedback constructively to prevent such incidents in the future. I truly enjoyed my overall stay at your hotel, but I believe that addressing such issues will elevate your services to an even higher level of excellence. Once again, thank you for the pleasant ambiance and location your hotel provides; it is undoubtedly a great asset.
