Penginapan Fairfield by Marriott di Chun'an

I was traveling with four elderly family members, all around 85 years old, and two of them had limited mobility. I'm incredibly grateful to the hotel staff; they were kind, friendly, and very helpful. They provided us with a wheelchair and a lot of other assistance. The hotel rooms aren't very large, so as their children, we didn't stay in the same room. The staff were equally accommodating, and the small sofa in the room was comfortable for a third person to rest in the afternoon. I had seen some reviews mentioning poor AC cooling, but I found the cooling to be perfectly fine. The hotel's lake view is stunning, and the room amenities are complete, offering the best value for money among resort hotels. Especially convenient is the fact that the scenic area is right across the road, making it very easy to explore Qiandao Lake. I highly recommend it. I do have a few points to mention, hoping the hotel can improve for future stays: First, the bottled shampoo and shower gel dispensers were a bit inconvenient to press as they were positioned too high. Second, the hotel doesn't have a Chinese restaurant. While we could order takeout and the hotel provided a dining area for us to eat it, the delivery times were quite limited. I'd suggest ordering at least an hour and a half in advance. Third, nearby restaurants are only available closer to Jinhu Huayuan, which is too far for elderly guests with limited mobility who also don't like takeout. It would be fantastic if the hotel could offer affordable simple meals. Fourth, the mattress was placed on a large platform, and the sides of the platform extended wider than the mattress. When one of the elderly guests got out of bed or got back in at night, they scraped their arm on the protruding part of the bed frame. I hope the hotel pays attention to this detail. Overall, I was very satisfied and grateful for the hotel's warm hospitality.
