Hotel terbaik di El Tarter

Stayed in a pleasant modern 1 bedroom apt operated by Pierre et Vacances booked through Crystal Ski. Disappointed to find reception didn't open until 3pm and rooms unavailable until 5pm having been dropped off at bus stop down the road by Crystal transfer coach from Toulouse. However we got into apt soon after 3pm. Reception staff v helpful. Hard to find our ski store room in basement car park and way out. This was also unheated and v wet. Should have hired a locker near lift as hard work with 2 young children walking uphill to gondola or chair lift carrying skis and crossing busy road. We asked for twin beds and got them. Heating good with lots of adjustable radiators for drying gear. No plug for kitchen sink or bath and not available. Toaster caused a power cut but easy to right in fuse box and reception provided a brand new toaster. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and good utensils. Big fridge freezer. Microwave and electric oven and 3 induction rings. Dishwasher and washing machine. Small pack of cleaning stuff provided. Towels and bed linen changed mid week but not cleaned. Fairly quiet except for the odd door bang. Lift. TV with BBC news. Good WiFi. No view. Easy to open windows with roller shutters. Good well lit and ventilated bathroom with bidet, loo and bath(unusable with no plug!) with shower over and drying lines. Not much in village and spoilt by busy main road. Lot of ongoing smart apt devpt. Food shop cafe and a few basic restaurants (pizza/pasta/burger) up steep hill behind (good for takeaways). Neilson Hotel le Clos nearby and has happy hour (-10%) 5.30-6.30. Supermarket 10 min walk down road and good shop in petrol station over the road. We used Euroski hotel's swimming pool and sauna (jacuzzi and steam room not working) 10 mins safe walk up road towards Soldeu. Towels provided but need to buy/hire swim caps. €7/10/14 admission depending on age and what's open. You can also go to Llop Gris pool in village near chair lift. All worked well for us but it's nothing special and lacks real charm and character like most of Andorra.

A lovely warm welcome by the staff at the hotel Our room is ok, it has a hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, cottton wool buds and cotton wool pads, tissues, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a kettle. We also have a pool/gym towel slippers and a robe. Heated Ski lockers are on lower floor of the hotel, they were included in our price held 2 x boots and skis The room was warm, and worked well. We had a small balcony There is a gym with a few bits of equipments, a spa, a sauna, jacuzzi and a pool. I think the pool is probably about 10 metres long. What’s fun???? And interesting and definitely worth knowing is that in the side of the pool below the waterline are two windows- these windows are seen through a local bar -Nemos! So make sure you look good 😀😂💕👍 Book exchange in bar, when we were there there were very few English books The crystal reps are good fun And are really keen to help in any way they are really helpful and just great The hotel is directly next door to the ski hire shop so that is really helpful It is ski in/ ski out, either the 4 man chairlift if you can ski, or walk down to the gondola to go up to the nursery slopes if you are new to skiing We ended up at the gondola one evening in soldeu by mistake 🤦🏼‍♀️, so we took it back up and got blue runs back down to el tarter The bar has good variety of drinks available The food was great, breakfast was buffet style, typical foods available. Dinner in the evening was waiter served, choices of 3 items-starter, main and pudding. We bought a bottle of wine and is was saved and labelled for us each evening The water was extra - not free on the table I think the children could choose off a children’s menu forte evening meal We had an early flight The hotel gave us a packed breakfast consisting of water, fruit, roll and crisps Slopes Wide, well looked after, not too busy, even with beautiful weather and no snow, the resort staff worked really hard to ensure there was good snow coverage Lift pass - we had lunch included, you can get the list of participating restaurants from your rep- again another area the crystal ski reps were very helpful with We had lunch at fun foods - burger, fries, drink - tasty and filling, you can also have salad which was lovely, we also had lunch at LLAC de CUBIL restaurant just by the TSF4 ENRADORT lift We ordered chicken and tomato This came out as a sandwich with 1/2 a French stick and fries that were cut across the potato plus a can of Coke We couldn’t eat it all Very nice and they had little sachets of salt! Clean and modern apartment with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful Andorra mountains. It was just slightly hard to find and the address and opening hours on *********** did not correlate with reality. (Check in closed more than an hour earlier than stated)

Son unos apartamentos de dos niveles muy correctos. En el primer nivel tenemos la entrada, un baño con ducha, y la cocina con el salon-comedor con un sofá cama , a destacar la cocina que es muy completa, incluye una cafetera de capsulas Dolce gusto. En la segunda planta disponemos de un baño con bañera y dos habitaciones dobles. Cada apartamento incluye una plaza de parking, por lo que te ahorras tener que dejar el coche en la calle. El único punto negativo a mejorar, es verdad que seria la conexión a internet que es una conexón un poquito lenta dependiendo de lo que quieras hacer, pero para lo básico (enviar algun whatssapp, etc) tienes suficiente. A destacar el servicio de atención al cliente de estos apartamentos, durante mi estancia tuve una pequeña incidencia pero gracias a la rápidez y a la profesionalidad del personal que me atendió, he de reconocer que son excepcionales, un 10 para ellos sobretodo para Francesc que demostró ser un excelente profesional y una increible persona.

Park Piolets is by far the best hotel I ever been. It was the 7th time this year and the experience surpasses itself every year. The buffet is large, various and delicious. The spa is great. There is a small pool for kids, a ”deeper” pool, a hot tub inside and outside, a sauna and a hammam. You can book a massage if you want. There is wifi in the whole hotel. The bar is very cosy. The rooms are pretty big and has a big bathroom with a bath and shower and quality local products. There's a television, a refrigerator and a beatiful view! The services are amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I don't remember a lot, but I will nevera forget the names of the staff. A huge thanks to: Borjá, Victoria, Carlos, Anyela, Estefania, Álvaro, Oscar, Juan Cruz, Bianca, Tatiana, Liliana, Federico, Juan Manuel, Camilo, Guillermina, the cooks and everyone who I didn't named. (I'm sorry, You didn't had a name card ). I hope to see you next year! ❤️

From my very brief visit to Andorra, it did seem to me that Hermitage may be the best option there is - the surrounding scenery is really beautiful, but otherwise, to my taste at least, the town and local ambiance is not the most exciting I've seen in Europe. Granted, I went smack in the middle of summer to what's clearly a winter destination, but it felt like a bit of a ghost town, and the hotel was also eerily empty. The hotel is really perfectly comfortable, and I was especially pleased with the room which was very spacious and had a lovely view of the mountainside. They do have a very extensive spa area, which again I didn't love from a design / aesthetic perspective but seemed to have all kinds of facilities. My biggest disappointment about the hotel was the food: I found both breakfast and dinner pretty bland.
