Hotel terbaik di Gerasdorf

I stayed for one week. The Hotel was exactly what I expected for a 3 star hotel. The room was clean but modest. The breakfast was typical German style which I enjoyed. The WIFI worked well. The location is excellent being about 200m from the Ubahn station.

Alles was man braucht, hat dieses Hotel. Es liegt in Floridsdorf, einem schönen Vorort von Wien. Mit dem Nahverkehr in wenigen Minuten bis in die Innenstadt. Neues Hotel, erst vor vier Monaten eröffnet. Sehr stylisch und modern. Das Personal überaus zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es gibt Zimmer im Souterrain mit Terrasse. Klein, zweckmäßig ohne überflüssigen Luxus, aber mit allem, was man braucht. Schöne Lobby, auch sehr stylisch. Rezeption 24 h mit kleiner Bar. und kleinem Frühstücksbereich. Frühstück alles sehr frisch, aber mit 15 Euro schon preislich anspruchsvoll. Überhaupt wird im ganzen Haus sehr viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Besonders entzückend ist der kleine Second Hand Shop in der Lobby. Toller Aufenthalt, komme im nächsten Jahr gerne wieder.

Upon arrival, we had difficulty finding the entrance to the parking lot, so we finally decided to get out of the car and go directly to the reception. The manager said my reservation wasn’t in their system and that it was too late for a check-in anyway. It was 2 a.m. I explained that I had already paid through Booking and asked if I could get a room anyway, but he informed me the hotel was full. Then, just after that, he said the hotel wasn’t full and that my reservation was okay, without any further explanation. He was patronizing both me and the employee next to him. Afterward, I went back to my car, entered the parking lot on level minus 2, and got all the bags out of the car. When I reached the elevator, my card didn’t work to activate it. I tried many times, then decided to leave my bags and walk up the stairs. After two levels, I still needed the card to open the door to the lobby, but it wasn’t working. So, I went back down to level minus 2, found another way out of the parking lot on foot, and returned to the reception to inform them of the problem. They tried the elevator themselves, still thinking I was the issue, but then realized the elevator wasn’t functional. They directed me to use the other one, exiting outside of the building. When I finally reached the lobby, the manager immediately demanded an additional fee I wasn't aware of, instead of apologizing for the issues I'd faced. Another guest eventually called the elevator for me, so I didn’t get the chance to try my card again. When I got to the room, the card still wasn’t activated. I went back down to reception, where they reactivated the card. After that, I was able to open the door to my room. However, the next morning, just eight hours later, my cards were deactivated again. Even though the elevator looks old from the outside, it’s brand new inside—brand new, but seemingly untested. The hallway smells like a hospital. Everything feels cold. In the room, it smells like a construction site—you can even smell the concrete. The room is clean though. The temperature in the room was very low, so I tried to set a higher temperature on the controller, but it didn’t change anything. I then decided to switch it off, but it kept running. In the middle of the night, it was below 20°C in the room, and there was nothing I could do. I ended up putting a T-shirt in front of the airflow. When I woke up, I called reception to explain the problem, and they told me, “If you’ve tried everything and it doesn’t work, just open the windows.” Once a week, housekeeping comes to clean the room. When the lady came, she was very nice. I tipped her 5€ before leaving the room, but she didn’t empty the coffee machine or remove the old capsule, which I had to do myself later because the machine was full. Additionally, the bed was not made. She asked if she should change the sheets, and I said no, just to make the bed, but she didn’t do that either. Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.

Upon check-in on 29.03.24, we were assigned a room that significantly differed from the description and images provided on the booking listing. The key discrepancies include: The room featured a bed only 140cm wide, contrary to the expectation set by the listing images. The bed was made with a single set of bed linen, and only one pair of towels was provided, inadequate for a booking made for two guests. Believing this to be a mistake, we approached the hotel reception the following morning for clarification and requested an additional set of towels and bed linen. Despite being assured of this adjustment, our room remained unchanged upon our return, with the initial single set of linens and no additional towels provided. After expressing our dissatisfaction, we were offered a ”free upgrade” to another room, which matched the description and images of our original booking. This situation leads us to believe we were initially provided incorrect accommodations. This experience not only caused us significant inconvenience but also raises concerns about the accuracy of room descriptions and the quality of service provided by the hotel. We believe this situation warrants compensation for the discomfort and inconvenience experienced, as well as an explanation for the initial discrepancy in room allocation. Also, hotel didn't answered for this request in direct messages to them and didn't accept my refund request that I sent to them with help of *********** support :)

This is the ONE property my sons and I stayed at that wasn't found from Rick Steve's guide books. It was a fairly last-minute booking found through google maps and chosen due to location and price. What I liked best: the beds! We had a triple and my single bed was the softest bed in 10 hotels for 18 nights. Second best: the breakfast was amazing. Half the breakfasts I added upon check-in as European hotel breakfasts fast became my sons' favorite meal. Third best: the front desk staff were extra helpful. They answered all my questions and gave me good advice on travel to the stadium. I needed an unrelated reservation printed out and they did it quickly and didn't charge me - I don't think. Haivng worked in the hotel industry for 6 years, I know many hotels would have charged for this service. LOCATION: The hotel was close to Ernst-Happel Stadium with a train/tram stop right outside the hotel. We took the 25 train/tram, walked maybe 2 mintues to the U2 u-bahn station and the U2 took us right to the stadium. APPEARANCE: The outward appearance of the hotel was the one detractor and the reason I almost didn't book it. It's a large white square with a blue horizontal painted line across and to be blunt, it looks sketchy. But the lobby area inside is nice and the dinning area decor was downright elegant. And while our triple room looked straight out of the 70's, the bed was comfortable and the room satisfied our needs - a quiet place to stay.
