This beautiful resort is fabulous!! The welcome from reception was fantastic, and then when I opened the door to my apartment, it was fantastic!! Spacious, clean and bright, I had even been upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit. The iconic is worth every cent and the location is so close to the beach, sensational restaurants and cafes. I will definitely be back!!!

We arrived on a Sunday when office closed. Prior to arriving information was sent how to access our apartment. Information easy to follow. We were on the right side of building where we had a partial view front deck the beach side deck ocean. Very pleasant. Apartment 2 bedroom spacious, kitchen all the items we required. Very close to beach and the Surf Club, join and discount prices off meals, drinks. Host and hostess very helpful with information we required. When seen about very cheerful. Pool pleasant. S Supermarkets, one at Coolingata beach other in a mall by Teed Towers. My house had recently knee replacement and he could comfortably walk there

Love this hotel. Situated close to everything. Quiet as tucked away in the corner. Clean & tidy. Professional, friendly staff who are very helpful & can’t do enough for you. Made to feel very welcome. Given a late complimentary checkout. Highly recommend & can’t wait to return. Big shout out to Joey 🙏

Excellent throughout. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and everything was as described. We had a well presented room that was clean, tidy and well equipped. The Pool area was great and kept spotlesssly clean with well manicured gardens. Will definitely stay here again. If you are thinking of Coolangatta as a destination put this Hotel on your list

We loved our night in the Artist Suite, It is very retro, loved the decor including the pinball machine and the flamingo bathrobes. We stayed on a Friday night so the music from the bar downstairs was loud. We knew that would be the case so we were ready to dance the night away in our suite...and we did. If you don’t want the noise don’t book this suite, but if you want to have some fun and don’t mind some music until midnight-ish i highly recommend it. (Music was blues/rock). Good recommendations were provided for the local area and the breakfast menu provided for in room service (from a local cafe) is great. The rooftop bar is available even when it isn’t open for service for guests to hang out overlooking the beach. Beds were comfortable, staff friendly, and the whole place has a fun vibe. Highly recommended.

A crisp, white apartment but only one towel to last for the week. When I asked for additional I was told it was going to cost $10 per towel. Talk about disappointing. I have never stayed at a place that is so stingy! My daughter uses two towels when she showers, one for her body and one for her hair. We also had to use the towel to mop up the leaking shower. When I mentioned this they couldn't have cared less. With two Queensland Blokes running the show, it's no wonder they had no idea what the needs were of their guests. They told me ”You have a washing machine and dryer”. Yes but I am ON HOLIDAY do I want to be washing and drying every day, the short answer is NO. Again, did they care, nope, not an iota. The swimming pool looks lovely but its freezing cold so using that was out of the question. When we left I asked if we could stay another 30 minutes and depart at 10.30am. Their answer, (big sigh) I suppose so. Gosh, sorry, I have just stayed here for a week, paid you a big sum of money and that's a problem. When we left, we dropped the keys off and politely said ”goodbye”. In return, we got nothing from them, not even a ”we hope you enjoyed your stay”. We will never stay here again. If the vibe at Reception is bad then not much else is better with this type of accommodation. The only advantage to staying in Coolangatta is the closeness to the airport, the rest of it is a retirement village. You certainly wouldn't go here for the fun and entertainment that the Gold Coast can provide.

I had a lovely stay here. Room was very nice, I was on the 1st floor and even though it was a low floor I still had views of the ocean. I imagine higher floor rooms would gave great views. Room had a balcony with table and chairs. Also a small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and some plates/cutlery. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet was very nice and staff at breakfast were particularly lovely. Location excellent, just across the road from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants nearby If we come back to the area I’d definitely stay again
