Great facilities, room was really comfortable and spacious. Great buffet breakfast. The gym had the minimum of what you would need to get a nice sweat up if needed. Handy little bar downstairs as well that was really enjoyable.

This motel is well overdue for a complete renovation. The decor is outdated, the furniture old and worn out, it’s dirty and the rooms smell of smoke. The shower was dirty, there was not ample crockery for a 3 person room and the place just looks sketchy. Someone has painted the furniture & walls in leftover white gloss paint which only highlights the imperfections and marks. The room behind the reception desk looks like a hoarders delight. I suspect there is insufficient staff to attend to things like housekeeping & maintenance. It’s what I’d probably expect at a dodgy hostel.

Stayed for the long long weekend. Front reception greeted us which was warm and friendly. Our room wasn't available until 3:30pm which we have told the staff that we'll be there at 2pm. As a Punthill member, we was suppose to receive a free bottle of red but never got that. What if we want chose to check in early? We totally understand Australia Day ***** holiday with no room service but there should be room service at least one day of the weekend. This accommodation does not offer weekend room service. Fresh towels, tea towels, hand towels are available in the gym. Room super clean but we do recommend to stay at least the one bedroom apartment for a couple. Parking is $35 a night, don't bother paying for that. Street park it's a safe area. Punthill Essendon North is really convenient spot.

Rooms are within a Pub, Restaurant, function centre and surprisingly quiet. 8 minutes in Uber to Airport for $20, was still a saving of about $130.00 of the cost of Airport Hotel we usually stay at so definitely staying here again. Bed comfortable and fantastic rain shower. Complementary water bottles and because we booked direct we received free breakfast packs and free drink each in the bar... Small issue in our room was quickly rectified by the Lovely Sarah, who also checked us in, very efficient.

WE stayed here for 1 night over Easter. WE had three single beds in the room which was clean but the bed made a noise every time you moved. The TV was good and the shower was ok. There was tea and coffee in the room and the gentleman on reception was very friendly. There is off street car parking. It was quiet overnight considering you are on a main road. Close to the Train station and tram stop. Good place if you want somewhere to stay for a night.

The Royal Hotel provides convenient access to Tullamarine Airport and Melbourne CBD. The accommodation varies in price according to demand, as is usual these days, but it is normally around $100 per night. The Nightcap Social club is exclusively for hotel guests. The Royal has been rejuvenated recently, it's a pleasant place to stay. By the way, the popular dining room serves good, no-nonsense food that is reasonably priced.

Ideal for one night stay with an early flight booked. Management friendly and courteous . Taxi was ordered for us because the shuttle service starts at 7am which didn’t suit our early departure. Our room was immaculate with all facilities provided including complementary biscuits to have with our tea.. not often seen these days ✔️comfortable bed which provided a good nights sleep even though we had to get up at 5am. Highly recommend for anyone needing to be 5 minutes drive to Tullamarine.

With an early flight the next morning from Tullamarine and 2 young kids we decided to try the mantra and save the early morning drive and it was great. Great service and staff the facilities are exceedingly and we’d definitely recommend staying there.

From start to finish the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and nothing we requested was a bother. The apar**ent had all necessities, was clean and had a balcony which was great. The location was excellent. It was close to supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended the Sebel Moonee Ponds and will definitely stay here again.
